All for the sake of love

 

 

“AH!!!” Kagome screamed as the Snake-like-Demon throw a light-ball after her.

She closed her eyes and waited for the impact…but nothing happened.

She opened her eyes and saw some golden, amber eyes staring at her.

“Are you alright? Kagome?” Inuyasha said and fall on top of her.

”Inuyasha? INUYASHA!” Kagome screamed after feeling some of his blood fallen on her white shirt, he was unconscious.

“KAZANA” Miroku screamed and sucked the Demon in his right arm

“Kagome, Inuyasha are you two ok?” Sango asked but all she could hear is Kagomes voice: “I'm ok, but Inuyasha was hit directly by that light-ball and now he's unconscious.” “Miroku” said Sango, while looking straight at him. “Yeah?”

“Take Inuyasha off of Kagome and put him next to that tree.”

She pointed to a large tree. “There you can take care of Inuyasha, Kagome.”

“Yep”, Kagome nodded.

After making the camp (it was already dark) Kagome looked over Inuyasha and she bandaged his injuries.

Miroku, Sango, Shippo and the fire-cat Kilala were all tired after the battle and fell rapidly asleep.

After she was finished Inuyasha woke up.

“Kagome!” with joy he hugged her. “Inuyasha? Are you alright now ?”

He took her by surprise in his arms and ran with her (in his arms) throw the forest .

First Kagome struggled, but seeing that she couldn't break throw his barrier, she just asked: “Where are we going?”

“I've always wanted to show you something “

After running half an hour throw the forest Inuyasha suddenly stopped.

“Here” Kagome was a little tired and closed her eyes while he carried her.

“Kagome wake up….”

”Huh”, Kagome replayed whit a yawned.

She opened her eyes and was fascinated! There was a waterfall!

And how the moons light reflected the water of it …simply beautiful.

He sat down on the ground whit Kagome in his lap leaning on a tree.

”It's more than beautiful.” ,she said looking at the waterfall like a happy child.

She turned to the half-demon: “ Inuyasha ,how did you know about this place! It's fabulous!” He grind “Well here I come sometimes to think.”

“Oh..” She looked at his injuries, but they seemed to be vanished in thin air!

Remarkable how fast his wounds heal. “Inuyasha? Are you feeling alright?”

“Yeah! and that's just because of you! Thanks for looking after my injuries!”

Kagome couldn't belief her ears. `He thanks me? Has that light-ball hit him to hard?' “Inuyasha ? Is it really you?” He looked confused at her.

“Why are you asking me such a silly question?”

“I was just wondering….How come that you're nice to me?”

“Why shouldn't I be nice to you? ... Yeah! I know I wasn't nice to you all the time… ok most of the time! But I just feel happy and thankful seeing you looking after me, a half-demon! A creature that isn't accepted in human or demon world!!!” while saying those last words he looked sad and very depressed.

“I'm sorry…”whispered Kagome. “ For what?”

“ For depressing you. I don't want to make you sad! After all you've risked your life to safe me….. again ! At least I can take care of your wounds! It's the least I can do for you….and I don't want to hear you lower yourself again! For me you're not just a half-demon! You're a wonderful person with many skills!”

“Kagome….” He hugged her tight. “ I wasn't nice to you because… I realized how much of a fucking bastard I am. You're too good for me Kagome… you always have been and always will be.”

`Well I feel torn at that. Was it possible that Inuyasha… felt the same about me? I flinched and he noticed. He really was getting good at reading me… if anything else I could confidently say Inuyasha understood me better than anyone else.'

"I know you feel as if your supposed to protect Kikyo forever till the day you die, but Inuaysha what about me? I know you have some kind of feelings for me rather if you wanna admit it or not. I love you and Kikyo is not going to stop me from expressing or acting apon my feelings for you. I don't know exactly when I fell in love with you. Maybe it was the first time I stumbled into your arm's. Maybe it was the first time you said my name, I don't know, but I know this, I love you and I will always love you no matter what, if you love me or your don't. My love will always be open to you. I remember everything you have ever done for me from cheering me up to when I was down to yelling at me to awaken' from a bad dream. I'll never forget the first time my eyes met yours. I always dreamed of a night, just like this one...where we would make love for the first time underneath the starry midnight sky. For us to be together forever and ever. It took me so long to realize that your heart belonged to Kikyo and not me. I'm not asking' you to choose, Inuyasha, but I need to know who you love? What did I do so wrong to make you leave me...I want be satisfied until I know how you feel, and who you wish to be with me or Kikyo. I know she will always have your heart but can't you make room in there for me too? I know I'm not perfect but who is? I didn't come to this era expecting to fall In love, but I did, I never knew love like you showed me..."

Kagome narrowed her eyes to meet Inuyasha once again.

"If only I could feel your tender kiss...." she was interrupted by Inuyasha embracing her lips with his own...He slid his tongue over her soft lips...slipping into heaven he let his hand find her waist as he caressed her sides pulling her closer to him. Breaking the kiss Inuyasha stared into Kagome's beautiful brown eyes.

"Kagome, I'm sorry for all the things I did, all those times you saw me and Kikyo together meant nothing to me, but hopefully you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Please forgive me for being to stubborn to tell you how much I loved you. I guess I was afraid...afraid of messing' up the friendship I already had with you. God Kagome I never realized how much I loved you. I love you Kagome, so much you will never know.” Tears ran down Kagome's rosy cheeks, " I love you too Inuyasha."

Inuyasha recaptured her lips making her blush a little.

He started getting closer to her running his hand up and down her back...planting little kisses all over her neck and around back to the lips...But soon pulled away..." I'm sorry Kagome." "shhhhh, Inuyasha it's ok...let me take care of you."

Inuyasha just stared at her. "You mean...?". "Yes Inuyasha.. it's alright.. Inu..Inuyasha. I want you to be mine.. and mine only."
