Inuyasha stared at Kagome, his nerves on end. My god, if she didn’t shut up…He couldn’t kill her because he needed her to find the Jewel shards. He didn’t want to kill her because he kind of cared for her. He wouldn’t kill her because she’d probably come back to haunt him. Mainly, well, hell—she brought him ramen. That was a good enough reason if any. His nerves were stretched taunt. Jesus, why did girls have to talk so much? She had Sango for that, but no, Sango was off with that perverted, sexually over-driven psychotic monk. Inuyasha winced, nodding his head repeatedly to whatever she was saying.
Something about school, right? Her friends? She needed a little time for herself—a spa day? Hell, he didn’t care! The thought entered his mind. Just once. He wanted to do it just once. It was only fair. He more than deserved it, especially at times like this. If it worked for him then why the hell wouldn’t it work for her? From his point of view, Kagome more than deserved it half the time. Inuyasha spun around and lifted his hand, pointing a finger in her direction and said two words.
“Sit girl!”
Nothing happened. Ah, shit. He was so dead.
