Kagome watched as the white flame hover inches from her face, sensing no evil or malice in the flame aura, Kagome put her dagger away.

 

“Kagome great protector of the Shikon Jewel, time traveler to the past, and the famous forgotten Miko.”

 

She jumped as the flame addressed her and she fell backwards and landed unceremoniously on her butt.

 

“Y-yes?” Kagome managed to squeak out.

 

 

“I have gifts for the Great Miko Kagome. Do you accept or decline?”

 

 

Her mind reeled with questions, Who was this spirit, How is it able to speak with her, Why was it giving her presents?

 

 

She stood in silence as she noticed that the flame asked a question.

 

“I am not sure, before I answer your question may I inquire; what the gifts are and why an I receiving them?”

 

 

“I will explain in your dreams, If you accept the gifts we will be meeting again…..hurry for my time is limited here.” The flame responded.

 

 

Kagome mind was going 80 miles an hour. She gave the flame a suspicious look. She debated in her head if she should take the gifts or not.

 

 

“ I choose to…. Accept.”

 

 

 

As Kagome answered she felt herself being lifted from the ground * Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, but who doesn't love presents?*

 

 

All her thoughts resided at the edge of her mind as a bubbling pain shot through her body starting at her feet and started working it way up.

 

 

Kagome let out an ear-shattering scream as the pain increased.

 

 

It felt like her body was being remolded and torn apart like some kid playing with clay. She felt as if she was going to puke as the pain rested in her stomach.

 

Kagome curled her hands into fists causing them to bleed. *This is not a gift it's a curse!*

 

The young miko's mind hazed with white as the burning pain made her think she was on fire. She was at the brink of conscience when suddenly the pain stopped.

 

 

How she ended up on the floor she did not know as she spied a box down at her feet.*How did she see this box in complete darkness?*

 

She quickly brushed the thought away as she reached for the box.

 

 

Kagome stopped herself remembering the pain she had to go through to get this box.*Maybe I shouldn't do this*

 

She eyed the box, it doesn't look dangerous, she poked at it….. nothing happened.

 

Well I've already went though the pain to get this might as well open it. She slowly reached down to open the latch, as she did this she glanced at her hand man I really should clip my…………*Claws!*

 

Kagome gulped as she started to panic.

 

 

*No!, No!, No!, No!, No!, No!!!* She thought.

 

 

Kagome stumbled away from the box and ran to the bathroom, She flipped the light switch and stood in front of the mirror, Kagome fell over and passed out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just love cliffys! OH and Sesshomaru will be in this story too. He is coming up soon. Sorry I just needed a moment with Kagome.

 

Sesshomaru: I better be in the next chapter, Bitch!

 

MR: I'll try Sessy, now be quiet the lawyers will come back.

 

(Knock, knock)

 

MR: Who is it.

 

Lawyer: “Housekeeping, me have hot towels for you and your guest”

 

MR:I dont want any girl scout cookies!

 

(Lawyers are confused.)

 

Lawyers: Really cheap, $5.00 a box

 

MR: gotcha Go Away!
