Me: Wow! I mean wow! When I posted this story in fanfiction.net it wasn't nearly as popular. Now I have 82 hits. I may not have any reviews but that's ok. Since so many people read it I am going to put this chapter in it.

 

On with the story!!!

 

“What the hell do you want Kouga? Can't you see right now is not a good time?” Inuyasha asked as he tried to shove the wolf out of the hut door he had just came in from. “What is wrong with Kagome?” Kouga yelled.

 

Inuyasha just grew madder as he finally got Kouga outside. “Will you just leave us alone? I need some time to figure out what to do. Come on Kouga! Just these once leave us alone!” Inuyasha yelled. “Not until you tell me what happened to Kagome!” Kouga yelled.

 

Inuyasha sighed. He wasn't looking forward to telling Kouga what happened. “She died.” He whispered. “What!” Kouga yelled. “I said she died. Just Kouga, leave us alone.” Inuyasha said looking at Kouga with such a fierceness that Kouga backed off and ran away from him.

 

`Keh good riddance' Inuyasha thought walking back to the hut.

 

When Kouga got to the edge of the forest he slowed down and looked back at the village. `Does Inuyasha think that I will just let him go after he let Kagome die? Ha! He's got another thing coming.' Kouga thought to himself as he ran off laughing driven with anger and insanity.

 

 

 

When Inuyasha reached the hut door he suddenly smelled the scent of clay and graveyard soil. `Kikyo! How dare that bitch come back here again?' He said to himself as he ran off in the direction the smell was coming from.

 

When he got to the Bone Eater's well he saw Kikyo there trying to block up the well entrance. “Kikyo what the hell are you doing!” He yelled. “I am trying to seal the well forever.” She said like she was talking about the weather.

 

Inuyasha didn't like that too much as he growled at her, unsheathing his Tetsiga. “What are you going to do Inuyasha?” she asked turning around nervously looking at his sword. “I'm going to kill you.” He replied not an emotion on his face looking and acting like his brother Sesshomaru.

 

She laughed an evil laugh as she transformed. “What the hell are you doing?” Inuyasha screamed at the now demon Kikyo. “You baka! Do you really think that I wasn't a demon?” Inuyasha stuttered. He couldn't believe it. How could she be a demon and him not sense it?

 

At this moment, he didn't think he could hate anyone as much as he hated Kikyo. His grip around Tetsaiga tightened. “Now you will die bitch!” he yelled making the wind scar dance around his sword as he shot it at her.

 

She laughed as she easily sidestepped his attack. “Inuyasha; don't you understand? You can't hurt me! I am invincible. I took all of my husbands jewel shards and the ones from Kagome! I have almost got the whole jewel! Now die Inuyasha!' she yelled attacking him with her newly formed claws.

 

`Oh yeah, I forgot she took all of our jewel shards. I was too worried about what to do that I forgot all about the jewel shards.' Inuyasha was too busy thinking that he forgot that Kikyo was there. He was hit full blow by her claws.

 

Inuyasha was thrown backwards in the air. When he hit ground he jumped up and dodged the next blow she was aiming for him. He quickly sheathed Tetsiaga and put his claws in his now bleeding chest. He pulled them out quickly and yelled, “Blades of Blood!” making razorblades come from his claws.

 

She missed the first two but was hit square in the chest by the third one. She flew backwards into the trees. He ran over to the edge of the forest where she had flow in and looked around for her in the mass of now broken trees. Then he looked up in the sky when his heard his name being called by a familiar voice.

 

“Inuyasha! We will be seeing you very soon.” Kikyo called from Narraku's arms who was now flying her off to their castle. They both laughed evilly at him as the couple disappeared in the sky.

 

Inuyasha growled at them as he stared heading back to the village. `How can Kagome die now when we need her the most? How can she leave me when she said she would stay with me? Damn her! Well I guess it's not her fault; I should have protected her more. It's my fault! How can forgive myself?' Inuyasha thought as he walked slowly to the village.

 

He was so depressed when he reached the hut that his ears drooped and he had a frown on his face that was looking at the ground. He sighed and looked up a little as he walked in.

 

“Inuyasha where have you been?” Miroku asked as soon as he stepped in. They were right in the middle of dinner when he walked in. “Kikyo. She tried to seal the well so we got in a fight.” He sighed before he said the next part. “She's a demon.”

 

Everyone gasped at what he had said. “But that can't be true. I never sensed any demon era around her.” Sango gasped as she almost chocked on her noodles. “Yeah and I couldn't smell any demon on her either.” Shippo said.

 

“Well do you think I did either?” Inuyasha yelled running out the door. He knew that a good run would usually help him think about what to do.

 

As he ran he thought about what to do really hard. `What about Kagome's family? I should probably tell them what happened. They will wonder what happened to her. She has been away for a couple of days now.'

 

He turned around and headed to the well. `How will I tell them? They are going to hate me.' That thought stopped him in him in his tracks. `They won't hate me and if they do I can just leave.'

 

Before he knew it he was at the well and he plunged into the darkness. Soon the familiar pink glow wrapped itself around him. When the glow went away he jumped out of the well and walked up to the shrine.

 

He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. The door opened and Inuyasha stepped backwards looking into the face of Mrs. Hirashi. “Hello Inuyasha. Now where is that Kagome?” she said looking at him expectantly.

 

He sighed, “Umm… well she died; in battle.” He whispered not looking in her face. “She what?” she asked her voice shaking as she said this below a whisper. “She died. I am so sorry. I am going to go now.” He said turning around. She was too shocked to say anything so she just closed the door and went in the kitchen to tell everyone what happened.

 

He walked over to Goshinbo and put his hand on the rough bark. `Kagome, how could you? How could you die like that? How can you just leave us here and not even bother to think what might happen?' `Now Inuyasha I don't think you really mean that.'

 

He gasped. `Kagome is that you?'

 

`Yeah. How are you Inuyasha?'

 

`I guess I'm ok. Kagome is there any way for you to come back?'

 

`I've been looking but I have found nothing yet. But I do know it is possible and I won't have to be like Kikyo. I will keep looking and I will try anything to get back ok Inuyasha?'

 

`Ok but be careful and don't risk anything.'

 

`I will try not to. See you later Inuyasha. Bye'

 

`Bye.'

 

He took his hand away and walked to the well house doors. `Please be safe Kagome.'

 

When he was back in feudal Japan he walked slowly to the tree next to Kaede's hut. He listened to everyone's breathing and found that they were all asleep. He jumped to the highest branches and sat down. He thought about Kagome for awhile and how he could get her back. `Maybe I will have to wait the five hundred years.' He thought as he drifted off to sleep.

 

“Hey Inuyasha wake up.” Miroku called out to him. Inuyasha opened up his eyes and looked down at the monk. “What?” he asked annoyed. “Keade is sick, very sick.” Miroku said.
