Chapter 1
It was a nice, warm spring day in the fuedal era, and there was no sign of Naraku. "The jewel is finally complete!"Shouted
Inuyasha. "Yeah, we just have to keep it safe so Naraku doesn't get it!" Kagome answered. "What will you do with the
jewel Kagome?" Inuyasha questioned. " Dunno."Kagome said. "Well I have an Idea!"Inuyasha said. "You're not changing
yourself into a full fledged demon, right?"Kagome said in a quivered tone. "Thats not what I was thinking!"Screamed
Inuyasha. Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kirara just stood behind them staring. "Well I think it's to bring Kikyo back!"
Shouted Kagome. Inuyasha just paused and changed his direction torwards the ground. "Well!"Kagome said. "No I'm
not."Inuyasha turned and faced Kagome. He just stared into Kagome's velvet brown eyes. "You're not?" Kagome
questioned staring back into his soft, golden eyes. "I't been a while, hasn't it Kagome."Inuyasha's voice softened "Huh?"
Kagome said. "It's been a while since we first met." Inuyasha corrected. "Yeah!" "It has been a while." Kagome managed
to blurt out. "And in that time I realized that have began to feel that you are not worthless."Inuyasha said. Kagome began to
get lost in thought. ' What on earth is going on?' 'He's admitting that I mean more to him than a past jewel detector or a
brat!' 'What is he trying to tell me!???' ' Is there mre to his story?' 'I thought he loved Kikyo!' 'Wait he didn't say he
loved me, he just said that i'm not worthless!' 'Am I just his friend?' 'Or am I more to him?' 'I'm so confused!'
"Kagome." Inuyasha asked. "If this is about Kikyo... " Inuyasha paused ' Oh great he is going to say he will go into hell
with Kikyo and is trying to say goodbye!' and turned to see two pairs of unwanted eyes staring at him. "Do you
mind?!!"Inuyasha said sarcastically and Kagome turned to see. "We thought you knew we were here!" Miroku lied. "Yeah
well I'm trying to tell Kagome something without you butting in on our coversation. Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kirara
soon left to the nearby village. Kagome just stood there staring at Inuyasha the whole time. "Um... I have to go." Kagome
said as she got up from her position. "Kagome wait..." Inuyasha stated as Kagome around now facing Inuyasha with a
confused and worry look on her face. "Kagome I need to tell you how I feel!"Inuyasha insisted. "I know."Kagome
managed to say. "You know?" Inuyasha said, his face turned to anxious and worried. "Yeah, you are going to hell with
Kikyo!" Kagome started to cry. "What!" "Who said that?!!" "I'll kill them!!" Inuyasha strarted to scream. "No, I just found
out my self." Kagome said.'More like guessing it!' "Kagome... I'm not going to hell with Kikyo!" Inuyasha said calmly.
"You're not?" "But I thought.."Kagome stopped "Thought what?" "That I still loved Kikyo?" "As if I'd leave you!"
Inuyasha said. 'What is going on.. why is he this?' ' I thought he still loved Kikyo?!!' 'Unless he's trying to admitt that..'
"What about Kikyo?" Kagome mentioned. "A will avenge her death by slaying Naraku, but I will not go to hell with her."
Inuyasha said. "But what your promise to always protect her?" Kagome said. "Yes I promised to protect her but I also
promised to protect you!" Inuyasha explained. "But.." She trailed off. " Kagome when I met you I know I called you
Kikyo and I curse myself for saying that but, Since the time we started to search for jewel shards and time went by, I've
realized I have definately know that you two are completely different, and you may not have the same minds bu t you have
similar souls."Inuyasha said 'Ok.. now he really has something wrong with him.. He may feel about me in this way but
he would never admitt it!' "With time passing and our realationship growing, I have realized that I have not felt so free and
happy." "Kagome, I was never someone... take that back, anyone and had never felt like anything until I met you." "I feel
like I have a purpose when I'm with you, Kagome, to protect you and be with you." Inuyasha had explained. Kagome just
stood there in amazement. "Kagome since then I have realized the true person Kikyo is.. she was not the Kikyo I met 50
years ago.. and my obsessiveness for her has faded with a new love beggining." Inuyasha said. "Kagome I..." Inuyasha
tried to say. "Kagome I.. I want to.." "I ..." Inuyasha trailed off.
