Kitsune ended up explaining her story to everyone. She started out angry at him. But remembered it wasn't him who killed her son. When she cooled down and met everyone in his group she told them who she was. Inuyasha scoffed twice during the time Kitsune talked. Once when she said she was once a human. The second time was when she said she was once Kikyo's older sister.

Obviously Inuyasha didn't beleive her. " You're telling me, that you are Kikyo's older sister, who ran away, and ended up becomming a half demon thanks to Naraku? " he asked, his arms folded into the sleeves of his Yukata.

" Yes." she said nodding. " I was fooled into thinking it was you who killed my son, but Sesshoumaru told me otherwise." she told him. Gasps from everyone could be heard audibly. " what?" she asked when she heard the gasps.

" You were with Sesshoumaru and survived?" Kagome asked. " He's not really one to give out information for nothing." she said.

" He resurected me. Apparently I died and he was bringing me back to life, so I could take care of his charge. Some girl named Rin." said Kitsune. " I refused to be her keeper. I walked out, he didn't follow me...so." she shrugged.

" You're lucky you got your ass out of there alive. If he doesn't get his way he gets mad." Inuyasha said. " But you'd never know it. He hardly shows emotion." He said as an afterthought. Everone nodded their agreement.

Kitsune blew out a breath. " so what you're telling me is, I was to just walk away." she asked. Everyone nodded again.

" Though, if he resurected you for Rin, chances are he's not going to let you go. He'll probably come and find you later." Miroku said as he shifted his staff, which jingled as he did so. Kitsune's ears drooped.

" That's just what I don't need." she said. " I have my son, and Kikyo to avenge." she said. " Find Naraku and kill him. " she said angrily.

" We're after the same thing Kitsune." Sango said. " We are after Naraku as well. Perhaps if Inuyasha allows, you can join us." she said looking to Inuyasha for his reaction after she said it.

Inuyasha growled for a moment. " I don't care, as long as she can fight and pull her own weight." he said turning away. He then looked back at a sideglance to Kitsune. " I don't want my brother comming after you, so you better keep him away." he said gruffily.

" Like I have any control over what he does. If he comes it wouldn't be my fault." Kitsune said defensively.

" It would, because you walked away from him and if he comes, I'd be after you." he said.

" From what I can tell...he's after your ass as well. " she said miffed. " So don't give me that." she snapped. He growled and walked off.

Kagome came up to her. " Don't worry about him. His bark is worse then his bite." she giggled.

" I HEARD THAT!" Inuyasha shouted from up ahead. Kagome sweatdropped.

" Anyway." Kagome said. " Welcome to the group." she smiled.

" Thanks." Kitsune murmured before they all started following Inuyasha.
Later that evening, they stopped for the night. Kagome was boiling water for some of her cups of future food. Kitsune asked what those were.

" Its instant Ramen." she explained. Then she slapped her head. " I forgot, you don't know." she stood and sat next to Kitsune who had a weird look on her face. " I'm from the future. The bone eaters well is a portal that connects our worlds." she explained. " I'm also Kikyo's reincarnation."

Kitsune stared at her wide eyed. " From the future?" she asked. " Thats rediculous." She said it was, but knew it had to be true seeing that the food and things that Kagome had brought weren't from this era. Kagome frowned and turned back to the boiling water and filled all the cups she had setting out full of water.

After letting them sit, she handed each person sitting at the fire a set of chopsticks as well as the cup. Kitsune nodded her thanks and she started eating. " these are really good." she said.

Sesshoumaru was sitting on a tree stump as Rin bounded around gathering flowers. He watched her silently. " What is it about flowers that this girl wants to pick them daily?" Rin then giggled as she placed a crown of flowers on his head. " and want to constantly decorate me with them." He sighed inwardly. Rin bounded off again and started to chase butterflies.

Jaken stood nearby and watched the whole scene. " Why don't you go and get Kitsune M'Lord." he said. " So you don't have to watch the girl pick flowers anymore." He suggeted. Sesshoumaru slowly shifted his gaze from watching Rin, to Jaken who immediately cowered at the gaze. " I"m sorry M'Lord. I didn't mean to tell you what to do." He appologized.

Sesshoumaru stood and removed the flower crown and dropped it on Jaken. " Rin, lets go. Drop the flowers." he told her and turne and headed towards the castle. Rin dropped some of the flowers, but kept some as she ran to catch up with him.

Later that evening, while Rin was asleep he sat outside. "bothersome half-breed." he muttered to himself. " Jaken, stay here with Rin, I'm bringing her back." he said. He stood and then walked into the forest, following the distinct scent of the woman.

Everyone was asleep, except Kitsune that is. She sat near the fire, poking it to keep it going through the night. She suggested that she take first watch seeing that she wasn't tired.

She poked the fire and put some more wood on the fire as she leaned back on the log and peered up into the sky. Suddenly a sent on the wind passed her. She snapped her head up and her ears twitched. " oh no." she whispered to herself. " why does he have to come now?" she asked.

Kitsune stood and tried to detect what direction he was comming from. She left the fire and approached the woods. She saw him in the darkness. His golden eyes glinting in the moonlight as he stepped forward.

" You will come back with me half-demon." he said simply. His tone was cool, unfeeling and uncaring.

" I"m not going with you." she said. " I'm with Inuyasha and his friends. I'm going with them to take down Naraku." she said. " Which is what i wanted to do in the first place." she told him. He said nothing, he just glared at her. " I"m not going to babysit your human." she said firmly.

" You'll come back, even if I have to pick you up and carry you over my shoulder." he said.

" I'd like to see you try." she ground out. " Go back to your castle. You're the one who kept Rin following you. If you can't take care of her, you should take her to a village." she said.

He sighed. " that wouldn't work, because she follows me everywhere. " He told her. " and she wouldn't stay put. She's getting older, and she needs a woman to teach her how to be a woman.." He said. " I can't teach her things like that." He explained cooly.

This time it was Kitsune's time to sigh. " I need to avenge my own child first. Why can't you understand that?" she asked. " If I avenge him....I could help you with Rin...but not until after that."

His eyes narrowed. " You'll never defeat him alone." he said. " Not even with Inuyasha and his friends."

" Are you offereing your help?" she asked arching her eyebrow. " Because thats what it sounds like." She said.

" Hardly.." he said. " I wasn't saying that I'd help you."

" Well if you did, Naraku could die faster, and I could take care of Rin sooner." she smiled. " Its a Win Win situation."

" I'll think about it." he said. " But I wont travel with my brother and his human friends." he told her. " if I help you. And I DO mean IF I'll come back to you and we'll go together." he then turned and walked away.

Kitsune turned and shook her head as she went back to the others. She came back to find Inuyasha was standing there looking at her angrily.

" You are really starting to piss me off." he said. " I heard the whole thing. If you go with him...." he said drifting off.

" If he ever comes back. I doubt he will....go back to sleep." she told him.

" I'm awake now. You go to sleep, I"ll take watch from here."

Kitsune shrugged and layed down to try and sleep.
