The eyes scared her. Kagome had always been terrified of their owner and rightly so becuase, the owner never showed anything but discuset for her, she was human afterall

"S-Sesshomaru?" Kagome trembled over her words as she steped away from Inuyasha's older brother.

"Wench!! What are you doing here?" Sesshomaru demanded with hateful annoyance in his eyes.

"I- I was g-going for a walk." Again she took a step back before, completely shocking Sesshomaru, Standing straight and losing her temper. "It's Not Like it's any of your buisness though!" Kagome's fear drained from her as she locked glares with Sesshomaru, daring him to contridict her.

Sesshomaru was locked within her gaze for some reason he couldn't look away. His glare softened a bit "Why were you out here alone? Where the Half-breed, brother of mine?" he interogated takeing a step foward. As Kagome stepped back, Sesshomaru grabbed her shoulders to hold her in place

Kagome struggled and was about to scream when Sesshomaru cover her mouth. "Scream and I'll kill you" his velvet like voice stated quitely. A bird flew low overhead and the sky because dark. Tell tale sights that it was going to rain, the peacefulness that Kagome felt bfore was just the calm before the storm.Suddenly Sesshomaru's scent filled her nose and she relized how gentle he was being with her.bit his hand so that she could speak. "And what my i ask are you doing here?!" her voice was cold with a slight matter-of-fact tone.

"It's really none of your business." He said.

Kagome remembered the splash from before." That was you in the water?!?" She stated. Her shock quite clear although upon further observation she notice that his Kimono was wet from the waist down

"Do you have a problem with it? Just because i'm a demon doesn't mean can get off without bathing." Sesshomaru answered with ,surprizeingly, honesty

" No." was all Kagome could say in reply to his truthful words.suddenly felt ill, and the taste of blood touched her lips. She was no demon but she could definatly taste the toxin the ws mixed with her blood. Sesshomaru could see Kagome 's face pale as well as feel her body temperature drop.you Okay?" he asked thorugh his usual mask.
fine" she lied with a glance at his claws " you poisoned me!"

Kgome broke Sesshomars grip and walked off. Her logic on the matter was that she was going to die anyway be it because of the poison or being to bold with Sesshomaru.followed Kagome and upon catching up with her he grabbed her shoulders, lightly, and turned her around so that she faced him. She looked at the ground but Sesshomaru put his hand under her chin and lifted her head so that he could look at her. As hard as she tried Kagome couldn't help but to look into his eyes. Seshhomaru was emgulfed in the pain and the fear that he saw in her eyes and slowly bent down to her level.
