"Kagome! Come back here!" Inuyasha screamed as he ran after the slender form of the young future girl, only to hear her shriek back an "Oswauri!" and have the prayer beads glow and haul him face down to slam into the ground, growling to himself. "I've got to go home Inuyasha! Can't you understand that?" she called out as she halted to watch as he struggled and was finally able to lift his face back up, spiting dirt from his mouth, and glaring daggers at her. "Stupid wench, we've got shards to find! You don't need to go home." He growled at her, only bringing her to sigh. He just doesn't understand that I have a life besides the one of searching for those friggen shards. She thought to herself, hanging her head. "I just need a few days, please." She glanced back up to see he had gotten back up and was crossing his arms as he stalked towards her, frowning. "Feh, why? Another one of your stupid tests you gotta do?" Kagome glanced down at the ground, digging the tip of her shoe into the ground as she mumbled, "No, I just wanna go home and visit my family." "Nani?! Hell no! You can visit them at your leisure when we defeat Naraku and get the rest of the shards!" His ears tweaked when he got the low growl, "Inuyasha…" He gulped as he took a step back. "N-now just hang on th-" "OSWAURI!!!!" "Nyah! -THUD-". After struggling a bit more and getting his head back up; he saw her back turned to him as she stomped away, fists clenched at her sides. Damn wench, why can't she just wait `till we have all the shards? He muttered in his mind. After all, it's her fault that the Shikon no Tama is in pieces. "Boy you never learn do you Inuyasha?" A young voice piped out, as the little kitsune Shippo landed onto his head, looking down at him with a snicker. Just as Inuyasha was about to leap up and knock the annoying kid senseless, he felt something bang into his head, making him yelp, then glare as the monk Miroku bonked him on the head with his ringed staff, followed by Sango the demon slayer and her fire neko Kiara, sitting on her shoulder. "Really Inuyasha, you need to grow up." Miroku spoke out in his quiet voice and solemn voice. In the next instant, there was a shriek from Sango screaming "HENTAI!" and the sharp sound of a slap as Miroku got his usual red handprint on his face, and a furious Sango, eye twitching as she lowered her now stinging hand that had struck the lecherous monk who had slipped a hand to rub over her rear. Shippo only shook his head as Kiara merely mewed at the action. It was a pretty normal day for all of them. Inuyasha got up and gave his usual "Feh" again at the group, turning his head away when all of a sudden they heard Kagome call out to them urgently up ahead. Without a second thought, the whole group raced over to where she was, as she stood perfectly still, her head lifted, eyes closed as she sensed something that struck her nerves and made her tingle all over with that strange feeling of sensing the shards. Inuyasha stepped beside her and asked, "Kagome, do you sense any shards." She hesitated before turning to the others with a confused expression on her face. "Yes, and no." "Eh? What's that supposed to mean?" Sango stepped forward, stripping off her pink and green kimono to show her demon slayer outfit hidden beneath, carrying her weapon the bone boomerang Hirakotsu behind her shoulders, Kiara sensing that she may be needed as she leaped off and blared into ball of flame before her enormous form appeared, red eyes upon the group, awaiting to find what was to happen. "Kagome, what is it you do sense. Can you give us an idea?" Sango asked. Kagome frowned for a moment before murmuring. "It's like a shikon shard, and yet something more. Something pure, powerful like several Shikon no Tama's." "Really?!" Inuyasha leaned forward eagerly, and then asked quickly, "Where do you sense it?" Kagome pointed to the North-west, in the direction of a nearby waterfall and before she could even yelp in surprise; Inuyasha grabbed her and leaped forward in the direction she pointed to, followed by the others, Sango and Shippo riding a now flying Kiara, and Miroku racing behind Inuyasha.
