Kagome slammed her alarm clock at the ground. The sound was annoying and she didn't have to worry about it in the feudal era.

-Ouch! Kagome please don't hit me with whatever it is you call this object.

-Oh! I'm so sorry Miroku. I just didn't want to listen to it I had forgotten that you were sleeping there.

-Don't worry about it. Kagome something smells delicious.

-Oh that's breakfast. Your right it does smell good. I am starving.

They both head downstairs entranced by the wonderful aromas that filled Kagome's kitchen.

They sat down and her mother filled their plates with tons of delicious food.

-Kagome I want you both to eat it all because I don't think you get a good nutrition while you are in the warring states era.

-Don't worry mom. It all looks great and Miroku and I are really hungry.

Kagome helps Miroku pick out some clothes from her cousins house and they rush off to school. They are running late and Miroku keeps asking Kagome an endless amount of questions.

-Miroku just hurry up I'll explain anything you want after school lets out.

-Okay Kagome but your land is just so…different.

They walk into the classroom and Kagome introduces Miroku to her class.

-This is my friend Miroku from China. He is staying with my family for a few days and he wanted to see what my school is like.

-Miroku you may sit by Kagome and look on with her for the assigned reading.

Miroku experiences school life and talks to a lot of girls Kagome is friends with.

I don't know why but when I see Miroku talk to all of these girls I feel somewhat…jealous...No...No...It's just my imagination. Right? Oh my God! I have feelings for him. What the hell do I tell Sango?

Kagome and Miroku go home together and it begins to rain. Miroku gives Kagome his mikato so that she won't be cold and wet. They stand beneath a bus stop and wait for the downpour to die down somewhat. Kagome sat shivering from the cold and Miroku held her tightly.

-I don't think the rain is going to die down. We should make a run for it.

They run quickly to Kagome's house. Once inside they take off their wet clothes and dry off by the fire place. They drink hot cocoa and attempt to warm off. Kagome began on her math problems while Miroku tried to finish an illustrated story about his trip to Tokyo. Kagome's teacher wanted to make Miroku feel like a part of the class so she gave him the assignment. Miroku felt a piece of crumbled paper hit him in his head.

-What was that for?

-Sorry I was bored and wanted to make you stop concentrating so hard. We do deserve a break. Let's stop in about 15 minutes.

-Okay. Miroku crumples up a piece of paper that was the first page of his paper. He aims in Kagome's direction and hits her straight in the back. He starts to laugh at the sight of her facial expression.

-Why are you laughing? Leave me alone. Kagome goes after him but falls over the coffee table.

-Oh my back!! Miroku help me please.

-Yes of course. What's wrong? Where are you in pain?

-My lower back…ooh it hurts right there… She points to an area of her back and Miroku lays her down on the sofa. He reaches for the area she pointed at and Kagome worried about his usual tactics and begins to move away.

-No Miroku don't even...oww…try to…ooh…do that.

-Kagome even I wouldn't go for a woman who is in pain and vulnerable. Let me give you a backrub. I won't try anything.

-Alright but if you do my mother will have your head.

She lies back down and Miroku begins. He begins to rub her shoulders gently at first and then get harder gradually. He then began to move to her upper back with hard circular relaxing movements. He slowly edged toward her lower back soothing the painful sore area. Kagome fell asleep and Miroku covered her with a blanket and put a pillow under her head. He did not fight his urges and kissed her on the forehead. This slight movement made Kagome wake up and they stared at each other unsure of what to do next. Miroku moved Kagome's hair from her face and she gently kissed him. Their kisses got harder and faster and they held each other and Miroku caressed Kagome's skin. They held each other and lay together on the couch. They watched movies and Miroku brought Kagome to her bed when she fell asleep again.

Inu Yasha and the rest of the group headed out to find Kaede and hear the new news she and Mioga had to tell them. Seiya watched Inu Yasha leap through the air and she started to think about what had been happening for the past week while Kagome and Miroku had been in the other era. Does he love me is now the new question that plagues my mind…I have always loved him and always will but what if I am only a short distraction while we are in the most important fight of our lives? I just love him so much…

Seiya begins to tear up and tries to hide her watering eyes from Inu Yasha and Sango. Sango does not miss the water droplets that have been flowing from Seiya solemn face. She and Kilala fly towards Seiya.

-Seiya you seem a little tired, would you like a ride?

-No I'll be okay.

-Please ride with me; I need to talk to you anyway.

-Alright I guess so. She gets on Inu Yasha and Kilala lets Inu Yasha get ahead of them.

-Seiya what's wrong.

-Nothing, it's just...

-Seiya I feel like we have really gotten close since you joined our group. Please tell me you can trust me with anything.

-Well I do think you already know that something is going on between me and Inu Yasha. I still love him, you know our history, and I don't know how he feels about me.

-Guys don't understand how we feel. You have to tell them. Inu Yasha probably cares very much about but is afraid to tell you. Just tell him and if he doesn't feel the same you will be able to move on and find someone new if need be.

-I am just so afraid. I haven't been able to find anyone in 50 years. I don't think I can. I'll just have to tell him.

Inu Yasha heads back towards the girls as they lag far behind him.

-Why are you guys taking so long? We need to get there before next month!

-Fine Inu Yasha we won't keep you any longer. Kaede is up at the next pass so don't worry about it. They head to the next field and land at Kaede's feet.

-I have found out where Naraku's new castle is located. The barrier is extremely strong and you need to have the entire group together. Sango I will teach to travel and Shippuo will help you find Kagome. They all head back to the well and get ready to retrieve their friends.

Sango and Shippuo head down the well and are transported. They head inside to Kagome's house and Sango walks into her room. She sees Kagome and Miroku holding hands and they quickly drop them.

-Hey Sango how are you? What are you doing? Sango stares in disbelief and feigns composure and tries to speak.

-I am fine. Are you guys ready to come back? We found Naraku but we need to all fight against him together.

-Oh...okay Sango. Let us just grab our things and we will be in the feudal era in a short while.

-Uhhh…okay. I'm just going to go then.

Baffled Sango begins to leave and walks into a pole calapsing and harshly hitting the ground. Kagome's cousin Haritu picks her up from the ground and puts her on the couch. He sprinkles a small amount of water on her face.

-Miss? Miss??? Are you okay? What happened?

-Oh I'm fine, I just…who are you?

-I'm Kagome's cousin. I suppose your Sango. Sango looks up to a very handsome young man holding her in his arms.

-Thank you for helping me. I am sorry to be a bother.

-No problem. Are you hungry? I was about to go out to lunch, would you like to join me?

-I guess so but could you tell Kagome I won't be going back with her.

-Sure. He leaves and goes to Kagome's room and tells her about it. He comes back and grabs Sango's hand. Are you ready? She blushes.

-Yeah I'm ready. Let's go.

Back in Kagome's room she sits unsure of Sango's reaction.

-That was really weird. I thought she would go and wait with Inu Yasha and the group. She must have feelings for my cousin I guess. I wonder how long she's been here. Kagome sits back on her bed and continues to cuddle with Miroku.

-Where the hell is she? She left over four hours ago? Kagome crawls out of the well holding hands with Miroku. Sango isn't with them. Where is Sango?

-She is staying with my cousin Haritu while my mother is out of town and then she is sleeping at my house while we settle this. She hasn't had time to grieve and she isn't ready to fight this battle.

-Okay. Seiya lets go ahead since we are the fastest. Kagome you Shippuo and Miroku ride Kilala.

They all follow Kaede to Naraku's barrier. Once they are at the barrier they get prepared and put on all of their gear. Seiya brings members of her tribe and all of Inu Yasha's past allies come to help defeat the demon Naraku. Shippuo and Kohaku ride on Kilala and arrive shortly afterwards. Kagome shoots her arrows along with the other mikos powers to try and destroy the barrier. They weaken the first layer and Inu Yasha uses his Kaze no Kizo to almost shatter the remains of the barrier with tetseiga. He then combines his assault with Seiya flaming daggers, Kagome's arrows, and Miroku's staff attacks. The barrier is finally broken and everyone convenes around Inu Yasha to formulate a plan. A neiko youkai intervenes.

-I believe if we continue to combine attacks we can quickly gain access to Naraku.

-He's right. We must stay together. I know that my flaming daggers helped add an extra edge to Inu- Sesshomarou enters suddenly with Jaken and the mysterious young girl seemingly ready to fight.

-What the hell are you doing here?!?!??

-Why Inu Yasha, of course I must fight this useless demon who is trying to take away my killing. And I do mean you Inu Yasha. I will first defeat this worthless half demon and then I shall finish off you and your friends.

-Yeah right. I can easily defeat you with the tetseiga. The strongest will be in the front and weakest on the side and in the back. Let's go already we ain't got all day!! Inu Yasha and Seiya lead the way with Miroku close behind. Seiya's pack along with Kouga and his men surrounded the main group as an added protection. Once inside the castle all around them seemed quiet and lifeless. Kagura stood in front of them with her ally demons and her brother and sister ready for battle.

-We ain't got time to deal with you. Where is that damn Naraku?? Inu Yasha growls prepared to tear someone apart.

-It won't be that easy Inu Yasha. We will defeat you before you even have the chance to see Naraku. The clans and other friends and allies slaughter the simplistic demons and minions of Naraku while Inu Yasha and Seiya attempt to defeat Naraku's reincarnations. Kagura is badly wounded with slashes all over her body. She manages to escape in the chaos and leaves to find Naraku and recuperate for the next fight. Seiya watches her sneak away and follows her. Meanwhile Inu Yasha helps Kagome and the mikos' cleanse the area and heal the wounded and doesn't notice Seiya's disappearance.

-Kagome I know we ain't finished yet. I still can smell Naraku and as far as I can tell Kagura is still out there.

-We must clean the area so that the souls of the dead won't be tormented. Also our defenses are weakened and we all need some time to heal.

Seiya follows Kagura to a long empty field. Seiya sensed shikon jewel shards but sees none. She could feel a gloomy presence suffocating and choking her until she almost felt completely lifeless. She grabbed the charm that Kaede had helped her make and placed it around her ankle. She runs to catch up with Kagura and she slowly disappears down into the seemingly rock solid earth. Seiya attempts to do the same as Kagura and actually arrives in some sort of rundown estate. She takes about three steps and suddenly her muscles feel excruciating pain and she couldn't stand and falls to her knees feeling an agonizing ache that wouldn't allow her to move.

-Well well. I thought you would've been smarter than this Seiya.

-Do I know you?

-Darling how could you forget your own mother?
