Seiya stared blankly at the neiko standing before her in the dark room she fell into.

-Mama??? Oh Mama where have you been?? You left our tribe when I was three and Papa allowed me to stay with Inu Yasha and his mother. No one would tell me where you went and I thought you were dead and I would never see you again.

-Seiya I never wanted to bare children. I never thought your father's seed would be able to impregnate me but well you know. I thought your father was a great wolf youkai whom I had fallen in love with. He stole your fathers form and lied to me. I am and was a great warrior with no time for offspring much less a worthless hanyou like you. I met an all powerful demon and I shall be his bride. He killed your wretched father and is now giving me the pleasure of disposing of you. I know you are as stubborn as I am so I know Inu Yasha and your friends are not up waiting for your signal. You were born into a world where you were all alone and you will die the same way.

-Why mother why??

-Oh just shut your damn mouth and die like a good little girl. The tall blonde haired neiko demon stood above Seiya with a sharp edged spear aimed at her heart.

Inu Yasha finishes burying the last body. Kouga comes up to him with a stubborn look on his face.

-Where is Kagome?

-What do you want with her now?

-I just wanted to tell her thank you for helping me reunite with Ayame. We are betrothed and we are expecting a litter in the fall.

-I don't know where she is and I don't give a damn about you or Ayame. Just stay out of my way. Has anyone seen Seiya?

-No actually I was going ask you…I haven't seen her since the fight. Inu Yasha rushes off to find her.

-Nooooo!!!! Mama!! Inu Yasha leaps out and tackles Seiya's mother.

-Seiya are you alright? She feels a wet moist area on her hip but ignores it.

-I am fine Inu Yasha. Is she dead?

-No she got away in the struggle. I never saw her before but she seem so familiar.

-That was my mother Inu Yasha.

-Oh well lets get back to the camp. You need some food and rest.

-Okay. They leave and head back to the others. While Inu Yasha runs at his normal speed Seiya lags behind and becomes increasingly slower. He slows down to see what is wrong.

-Seiya?? She starts to fall to the ground.

-Inu Yasha I love you…Seiya faints and is unconscious. Inu Yasha carries her and runs quickly to Kaede's in hopes of saving her. Kaede takes Seiya inside and undresses her.

-INU YASHA!!! SIT!!

-Shit!! What did I do to you Kagome?

-GET OUT OF HERE!! SEIYA HAS NO CLOTHES ON!!! Don't make me do it again!!

-Ok OK…calm down. I'm going. Watch out for her Kagome.

-Trust me. I will don't worry.

Inu Yasha leaves them to heal the woman who holds his heart. Inu Yasha sits on a hill thinking constantly about Seiya.

I love her so much and I don't even think she knows. If she dies and doesn't find out, I just don't know what I'll do. Oh Seiya I do love you and I want to be with you forever. Every moment has been so precious…I can't lose you just when I finally got you back. Please don't let her die…

Inu Yasha didn't know how to express his emotions so he kept it all to himself. His pain was shown in his eyes but he was alone and it went unnoticed.

Shippuo felt lonely and left out. He begged Kaede to teach him how to use the well and he went to see Sango. Sango was cooking sushi for lunch when the little furry tailed demon hopped up on the window sill. She opened the window and let the poor little creature inside to the warm and cozy house.

-Shippou! Oh how I've missed you! How are the others?

-Everyone is scared!! Seiya is holding on by thread and many of our group is injured or dead. They need you and I miss you too. The little fox demon hugs Sango with a sad expression on his face.

-I will return with you. Don't be so sad everything will be fine. They head off to Kagome's home after Sango leaves a note for Haritu and his father. When she returned she saw Inu Yasha alone with a solemn look on his face. She had heard about what had happened between him and Seiya and knew why he was so upset.

-She knows how you feel and she will be fine and you can tell her yourself. Why don't you go in there yourself and see what is going on.

-Kagome told me to stay out.

-I'll go with you. I'm sure its ok now.

Inu Yasha and Sango head inside Kaede's hut. He stares at Seiya lying under blankets cold and still in the corner. He shivers at the sight and sits down beside her. Her eyes are closed and there is no type of expression on her face.

-Seiya, I don't know if you can hear me right now but I wanted to let you know that…it was stupid to follow Kagura and not let me help. I could have killed her; she was at her weakest point.

-INU YASHA!! Don't make me say it.

-Sorry I was just saying what I thought. Well..Ummm..Uhhh…Seiya, I…damn I love you Seiya. You can't die because how will I be able to show you that I can defeat Naraku without your help. I need you! I won't lose you again!! Inu Yasha gets up to go and feels a cold hand on his cheek.

-Inu Yasha I can feel the life slipping from my fingertips. I don't know if I can hold on much longer. I love you and I want to stay but I have no powers to prevent my demise. I hope you will understand. A tear drop escapes from her eye and lands on Inu Yasha's cheek. She lays against him dampening his red top. He places his arm around her and pulls her close to his chest.

-Seiya I understand but I will not stop until I find a way to save you. Just hold a little longer.

Her powers have only a minor affect on me. That ain't a good sign. That bastard Naraku; putting Seiya against her own damn mother! I will kill him myself to avenge Seiya. I know of only one way to help Seiya and it ain't gonna be easy.

Sesshomarou heeds Inu Yasha's call and swiftly arrives at Kaede's. He comes into the room alone with his half brother.

-I am here Inu Yasha do you agree to my terms?

-Yeah. You get tetseiga after we defeat Naraku and I will release Kikyo unto you.

-Where is Kikyo? The lifeless miko appears in the doorway docile and calm.

-I am here Sesshomarou and I shall do your bidding.

-Kikyo why are you eager and ready to join my company?

-I would have refused but Kagome has agreed to give me her uncontrolled miko powers.

-Aaah. So Inu Yasha and his friends are making many sacrifices for this hanyou Seiya. I don't see why.

-Shut the hell up and just do it!!!

-Okay. Inu Yasha calm down. Sessomarou takes his tenseiga and slices through the dead body that lies covered in the corner of the room. Seiya awakens and coughs abruptly. Inu Yasha rushes to her side and holds her tightly. Kikyo leaves with Sesshomarou and Kagome gives her the arrows before she leaves.

-Inu Yasha? Where am I? What happened?!??

-Don't worry Seiya. You are okay; you are with me and everything is alright. I have done some bargaining with my brother and Kikyo and Sesshomarou has saved you.

-No Inu Yasha I would rather be dead than have the likes of your brother save me.

-Seiya I can't let anything happen to you. I won't let anything happen to you. I love you and I want to be with you.

-Oh Inu Yasha. She grabs him and holds him tightly. They both blush slightly and sit holding each other until they fall asleep.

Sango gives Kagome her boomerang and begins to train her in the ways of a demon exterminator. They train along with Shippou and the new mikos who have joined them in their quest to defeat Naraku. Koga's clan and Seiya's clan band together and prepare for the battle. The lesser demons and other allies of Inu Yasha learn new skills from the very skilled members of the large group. Inu Yasha learns new tricks to wield tetseiga from its creator. Miroku aids the other monks and mikos on demon protective barriers, chants, and different potions. He also helps Sango train Kagome to reawaken the skills she lost to Kikyo and wield her new weapon. Kohaku practices hitting targets while he rides on Kilala's back. Some humans even train to help this new band of wanderers in any way they can. Seiya prepares even harder with her master Tailya. She uses her fans, sword, and other new useful weapons.

They complete the bulk of their training by the week's end and Sango finishes her lessons with Kagome. The group begins to practice together and Sango prepares to leave and goes to say goodbye to her unique new family. She walks up to find Inu Yasha and Seiya in their normal position, wrapped around each other, and disturbs them for a moment.

-Inu Yasha? He doesn't really hear her so she quickly grabs Kagome.

-SIT!!! Inu Yasha falls through the wooden floor along with Seiya, Sango, and Miroku. Inu Yasha helps them all out along with Kilala and Koga. Ayame and Kaede try to mend any wounds but they all seem fine.

-Why the hell do I have to still wear these beads?? All she ever says sit for now is to be a pain in the-

-Inu Yasha if you would only pay more attention you would have seen that Sango wanted to get your attention. I was only trying to help you out.

-Child I believe Inu Yasha is right. We can trust him so I do not believe he needs the beads any longer. Kaede mumbles a chant and the beads fall off his neck and become completely white.

-Well I guess I can just tell everyone right now what I was going to say. I am going to live in Kagome's era. In her world I am considered to be a grown woman and I am going to be betrothed to her cousin Haritu. I am 23 and I will go to work as a school teacher with Kagome's aunt. Her mother is allowing me to room with them while Kagome is gone. I will miss you all and you can call on me whenever you need any help at all.

-We will miss you greatly Sango. Miroku and the rest of the original group run up and squeeze Sango tightly. Even Inu Yasha gives her a quick hug. Her brother stays quietly in the corner while the others wish her a safe journey. She heads towards the well.

-Sango don't leave yet!! Kohaku screams as he runs towards his sister. She whispers softly into her ear.

-I love you too little brother. Don't you worry I will come back for you. He releases her from his grip and she heads over to Kagome. She hands her boomerang to Kagome and turns to leave. She waves goodbye to everyone and then disappears down the well.
