It is dark outside and a fearsome storm is brewing. It is daytime but an evil aura is streaming across the land. Kagome, Miroku, and Kohaku stand their ground with their weapons raised. Sesshomarou and his youkai forces spread through the fields of the feudal era…poised and ready for battle. Kouga, Ayame, and the strongest of the wolf youkai hold their positions. Inu Yasha and Seiya stand close to the forefront behind only an aging Kaede, who is creating a strong barrier with the aid of her apprentice mikos and Shippo.

-Everyone we have a raging battle ahead of us. We must be strong for Naraku is a strong and sharp foe; he has many youkai at his beck and call. We can defeat him but it will be a long and grueling process. Be prepared.

Inuyasha…was speaking wise words of advice? Wow that's different…this is gonna be tough but we can do it…I can't believe the turn of events…our lives have been so twisted…

Kagome is fearful of what is to come and pulls Miroku aside.

-Miroku, I care about you a lot and I don't want anything to happen to you. I don't know what I would do if you left me alone.

-Kagome-sama…I won't leave you. We will defeat Naraku and be together. I want to have a future with you.

They embrace and Kagome has tears, a mixture of joy and sadness, streaming down her cheeks.

Kaede finishes her incantation and leads Shippo to his position. She tries to grab Rin and take her away but to no avail.

-Sesshomarou-sama!!! I love you!!

The cold and seemingly heartless youkai takes Rin in his arms and holds her tightly.

-My Rin…I love you too…stay with Kaede…you are too young to battle.

-Sesshy!! Maybe you have not noticed I have grown! I am a young woman now and I deserve your respect and attention.

Sesshomarou stands back shocked as he looks over this beautiful and enchanting young woman. The Rin he once knew had almost disappeared entirely. He embraces her again and she demands his affection. Both stand with a lingering pull towards one another. She kisses him and presses her body against him, forcing him to feel a strong passion that had been hidden for so long.

-Rin, I love you and I accept your maturity. but I must ask that you not fight by my side. I demand that you stay and aid Kaede with healing the wounded!!

-You can not command me anymore Sesshomarou! I love you and I am a trained miko, and willing to fight with my life!

There is a slight gasp from the crowd as Rin's voice booms louder and they realize a strong power seeping from this ignored young lady. A fiery glow surrounds Rin as she reveals her true inner strength to them all.

. I command the elements! The fire the wind the water! Make my powers known!! Help me defeat my ENEMIES!!

Rin takes the hidden daggers from her ankle straps and aims them at a helpless Jaken. She cuts his clothing and his robe falls to the ground. Her daggers had been glowing with bright blue flames and returned to her leaving Jaken unharmed.
