“Lord Sesshomaru!” Jaken yelled running out side to where a battle was taking place. “They are attacking the lady!” With that said Sesshomaru growled and ran inside. He hurried as fast as he could to his room and opened the door. A blaze of fire came through but he didn't care. He ran over to the bed to realize he was too late. On the bed he saw the burning remains of the woman he loved. Sesshomaru pulled out his healing sword and kept swinging it over the woman's body trying to kill the nether world minions. But there was no body for the soul to come back to. Sesshomaru dropped to his knees and let out a howl of anger, pain, and sadness. He buried his face in his hands as the flames around him kept burning. “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. My darling Hikari.”

“Ankoku, Ankoku! Wake up you lazy bitch!” Someone yelled and pulled blankets off of a girl. The girl opened her eyes and squinted to see who bothered her sleeping. It was a girl with mid back green hair. The girl was tall for most girls, she was also pretty tan, and had gold eyes. She also had green cat ears and tail. The girl was wearing a high school uniform that had a black skirt that stopped a bit above the knees. A white long sleeve shirt with a black tie, and over the shirt there was a black jacket. On the shirt there was a crest that belonged to a school. “Oh hello Ivvey.” The girl who was lying in bed said while rubbing her eyes. “Why are you here?” “Well Ankoku once again you are late and you made me miss the bus too!” Ivvey said glaring down at Ankoku. “Now get up and get dressed I don't feel like missing the bell.” Ankoku sighed and got up, she walked over to the dresser and grabbed the same clothes Ivvey had and walked into the bath room. She put the clothes on and looked into the mirror. Her reflection showed a short girl with long sliver hair down to her knees. She also had silver eyes and pointed ears that looked similar to elf ears. Ankoku sighed and opened the medicine cabinet and grabbed some make up. She put on the consealer which was very light because she had pale skin. Next she put on some eye liner, than purple eye shadow, and than black lip stick. She put her ear rings in all the 5 holes in each ear. Than put in her belly button ring and her eye brow ring. She walked out of the bath room and back over to the dresser. She grabbed some socks and put them on. Next she walked by her closet and grabbed her book bag. “Ok I'm ready now.” Ankoku said and walked out of her bed room. “Finally!” Ivvey said following close behind her. Ankoku and Ivvey put there shoes on and walked out the door.

The sun was very bright and the whole way while running to school Ankoku had to keep putting her hand in front of her eyes to block them from the sun. “Damn I hate sun.” She muttered while her and Ivvey walked into the schools court yard. “good were not late.” Ivvey said and walked inside the building. Ankoku and Ivvey both went to their first period class knowing that the bell would ring soon. Ivvey went to her seat right by the window and Ankoku went to hers in the back of the room. A minute after Ankoku and Ivvey sat down in there seats the bell rang, and the teacher walked in. “Good morning class. I'm glad to see no one is late today.” The teacher said while putting his brief case down on his desk and glancing over at Ankoku. “Well let's all begin by opening our books to page 30 where we left off on Friday.”

Ankoku sighed as she thinks back at her day while she's on the bus going back home. She's lucky today she got a seat so she didn't have to stand up like most of the time. Today Ivvey wasn't with her because Ivvey stayed after for soft ball practice. Ankoku kind of wished that Ivvey wouldn't do soft ball because she wanted her to stay with her a lot. Ivvey was one of Ankoku's best friends. Ankoku sighed and looked out the window. She saw buildings buildings and more buildings but nothing really that interesting. Lately Ankoku had been feeling sort of anxious; she's just been waiting for something to happen. She doesn't know what but she has a feeling that something will happen. But she really doesn't care; actually, she'd like something to happen. Ankoku was never the type to like things to be mild and maintained. She liked things to be out there and weird. so getting away from what she knows as a dialing schedule would make her one of the most happiest people ever.

`Why dose life have to be so boring, I mean why can't anything be new and surprising?' Ankoku thought and laid her head against the window. `Why dose it seem like I'm in the wrong place and time. Like I should be somewhere else doing something more important than going to school and being a normal teenage girl. I long for the chance to get out there and do something different, something fun and exciting. I want to do somthin-' Ankoku got pulled out of her thought when she saw something out the window. It was a huge tree in a mini forest thing a little bit off from the road. Ankoku pulled on the string at the top of the bus meaning that it was someone's stop. Ankoku got up and started walking towards the front of the bus. She walked past the bus driver and down the steps until she was on the side of the road. The buss driver drove away but Ankoku kept standing there. There was something about that tree that made Ankoku wonder. So she walked down the slope that was separating the road from the forest. She walked into the woods and tried to find the center. It wasn't that hard because the tree seemed to pull her closer and closer to it. When the tree was barley in view she than realized that there was a well. It looked really old and when she looked down into it it was all dried up. Ankoku leaned her body against the well and kept staring down into it. `It looks like there's bones down there.' She thought while she kept staring. But than for no reason she started leaning forward so fare her feet left the ground. She let out a blood curdling scream and clamped her eyes shut. The fall she thought awaited her was replaced with a floating down sensation. She opened one of her eyes to see what was going on and she realized she was about to touch the bottom. `Why didn't I fall and hurt myself?' She thought as her knees and hands met with the floor of the well. “This is way to weird.” She muttered to her self looking up at the top of the well. She than saw vines over the side of the well's wall. Ankoku grabbed the vines and slowly started to scale up the wall until she griped unto the wooden brim of the well. She pulled her self up and looked around. She wasn't in the same forest she was before. The forest she was in you could see some of the road, and could hear the cars. She sat on the edge of the well and started looking around. Than she noticed the top of the tree that led her to this direction. She stood up and started walking towards the huge tree that ,once again, seemed to pull her to it.

When Ankoku reached the tree that tempted her to come she saw a strange diamond shape on the tree. `I wonder where that came from.' She thought and walked over to the tree. She stood on some of the trees roots and reached her hands up to the tree and touched the diamond. `It's like someone carved it out of the tree, but why would they do that?' She was than pulled out of her thoughts by someone behind. “Don't move, demon!” The voice belonged to a man that wasn't to young, or to old. Probably a teenager. Ankoku turned around and saw a man with white hair, and red outfit, gold eyes, and also two dog ears perched up on top of his head. “What are you doing here?” The man asked glaring at Ankoku. “What do you mean?” She asked and stepped down from the roots. “I was on my way home and I saw this tree, and for some reason I had to see it. So I got off of the bus and walked to the tree. But before I reached the tree I saw an old well. I stopped and looked at the well and before I knew it I feel in and ended up here. And by the way, where is here?” Ankoku said in a confused way. She didn't know where she was, and all she knew was that she wanted to go home.

The man looked her over and started muttering to him self about wearing the same clothes as Kagome, and coming here the same way she did. The man than turned back to Ankoku. “What's your name?” He said still glaring at her. “I'm Ankoku.” “well Ankoku I'm Inuyasha, follow me and you'll find out what the hell's going on.” Inuyasha said, turned and started walking away. `She I follow him, I mean I just met the guy and he could be a killer. Than again I have no clue where the hell I am.' Ankoku decided the best thing to do right than would be to follow the strange man and find out where she is and how to get back home.
