"WHAT!?!" Miroku couldn't believe what he was hearing, Inuyasha had called after school ended and told him the reason why he lost the game and why he wasn't at school.

"Yeah, she's insane, she doesn't want us together at all. Kagome and I were hoping you and Sango could help us secretly get together once and while."

"Sure we would, but you should tell your parents, they could put a stop to this whole thing."

"And end with dad's name in the mud in the process. Even if we did give Kagome's grandfather the money, Kikyou would make sure the papers ran a story about his whole thing. It's a lose, lose situation."

"Inuyasha, you and Kagome love each other, I'm sure your dad would want what's best for you even if it did tarnish his reputation."

"I don't think I could live with the guilt."

"You rather live with guilt that you are able to overcome or live without Kagome knowing you had a way out of this and never took it?"

"I hate it when you make sense."

"So are you going to tell?"

"I'll do it at dinner, but I'm not sticking around for when dad starts yelling and tiring up the house in outrage, and I can just see Sesshoumaru slapping Kikyou, actually that's not a bad sight. Man, what's my mom going to say?"

"She'll every bit the mother and comfort you, might even call Kagome's mom and comfort her!"

They both started laughing, it was the first time that Inuyasha had laughed in a while. He wanted to call Kagome and see if she was still crying but couldn't chance it until he gave her the money.

When he finished talking to Miroku he went down stairs to dinner and to tell his family the problem that he had been trying to keep form them. He walked into the dining room and plopped down next to his mother.

"Are you still not feeling well Inuyasha?" She was disappointed when Sesshoumaru didn't find anything out today, but they both thought it odd that Kagome had also stay out of school today.

Inuyasha let out a big sigh and got ready to drop the bomb, when the phone rang. Sesshoumaru answered hoping it was Rin with some information, but hairs on the back of neck stood up when he realized whom it really was. He walked back into the dining room and threw the phone at Inuyasha who caught it with relative ease.

"It's the raging bitch." Both parents looked up at their oldest son wondering what made him use those words about someone.

Sesshoumaru noticed their stares and simply said... "It's Kikyou."

After hearing that name they nodded their heads and continued eating while Inuyasha was out of hearing rang with the phone.

"What do you want, bitch?"

"Why were you absent from school today?"

"Why do you think? We could be near each other so there was no point in going, besides we didn't want to your face."

"Aaww how sad, but you two can't stay out of school forever, and then I get to see you two suffer with my own eyes."

Inuyasha didn't bother to reply, he just hung up on her and walked back to the dining room. He was going have to tell them now, that bitch was really starting to yank his chain. He took a deep breath and to try and tap down the nervous feeling in his stomach and sat down again.

"Why was she calling?" Sesshoumaru didn't bother to look up from his food to ask the question, but now Inuyasha had at least two pairs of questioning eyes on him.

"I need to tell yo-" He was about say it when the phone rang again, it had to be a sign.

Once again Sesshoumaru got up to answer and Inuyasha just sunk lower into his chair. Sesshoumaru walked back in and threw the phone at him again.

"Hello?" He didn't even bother with leaving the room this time.

"IUNYASHA IS WHAT MIROKU TOLD ME TRUE!?!" He had to pull the phone away from his ear because she was screaming so loud and now everybody at the table had heard her and was listening.

"Yes, Sango it's true but I have to go now bye." He hung up not waiting for a reply, and sat the phone on the table.

This time he was going to get it out of his mouth, but as soon as he opened his mouth the damn phone rang again.

"OH FOR THE LOVE OF!-"

"WHAT!?" His volume caused everybody at the table except Sesshoumaru to flinch.

He let out an exasperated sigh and threw the phone to Sesshoumaru.

"Hello Rin."

"I see"

"Well that is interesting, did she say why?"

"I see"

"WILL YOU HURRY UP!?" Inuyasha was really going to pull the battery from the phone after this.

"I have to talk to you about this later Rin, Inuyasha is acting his shoe size again. Yes, he does wear an eleven."

"HAHA very funny!"

Sesshoumaru hung up and Inuyasha grabbed it and took out the battery and threw it down the hall.

"I've been sit' in her trying to tell you guys that Kagome and I are being blackmailed!"

"WHAT!?!" Everybody said in unison, he couldn't have said what they think he said.

"Kikyou is blackmailing me and Kagome to stay away from each other."

"And how in the hell is she doing this?" He was right; his father was going to blow up.

Inuyasha began to tell them the story starting from last night's football game up until this point, making sure not to leave anything out. At the end he was waiting for the explosion that was sure to come. His mother was staring at him in disbelief, hid father looked as red as the tomatoes in the salad, and Sesshoumaru looked to be in deep thought, Inuyasha guessed that he was probably contemplating how he was going to slap Kikyou.

"THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!" As his father stood up and started ranting only one word came into Inuyasha's head...

`Boom'
