As soon as Kagome got to school she was buried under a group of girls asking if she and Inuyasha had broken up. She had no idea what to tell them so she just told them it was a private matter and walked away, she had to find some way to talk to Inuyasha about this.

She made it to class before anyone else and wrote him a quick note, when he walked by her she slipped it into his notebook.

When Inuyasha read her note he suddenly knew why all the girls had been hanging on him this morning. Everyone thought they had broken up, this had to be some sick for Kikyou to get her kicks. He wrote a reply on the note, but would have to wait until he passed by her in the hall or saw Sango to get it to her.

At lunch the boys sat without they're girlfriends again, Ayame had joined Kagome and the other girls but she and Kouga were still clueless as to what was going on. Inuyasha rolled his eyes as another group of girls passed all saying hi to him in little girlie voices, it was getting on his nerves but Miroku thought that he should take advantage of it, the pervert.

"Hi Inu"

Inuyasha tried to roll his eyes completely to the back of his head at the sound of Yura's voice, when that didn't work he decided to answer her.

"What Yura?"

"Oh Inu what's the matter?" She asked him the question while running her fingers through his hair.

"Could you stop touching me?"

"Are you mad about Kagome?"

"No why?"

"Well rumor has it that you two have broken up, did that stupid girl dump you?"

"It is none of your business, and don't talk about my Kagome like that!?"

"Well touchy, touchy" Yura pouted as she walked off, doing her usual display with her hips.

"Hey mutt face, what's going on with you and Kagome?"

"None of your damn business ether Kouga!"

"It is my business when you hurt Kagome!"

"Kagome is not your business!"

"Will you two sit down and shut up!?" Now that Ayame had left Miroku had to stop all the fights.

The two stopped growling at each other and sat down, lunch was just not ending fast enough for Inuyasha.

Kagome's POV

Kagome sat down and opened the note that Sango gave her from Inuyasha. She read it while the other three girls talked about whatever it was they were talking about.

`Kagome,

Hey beautiful, I got to school and girls were all over and I didn't know why but what you wrote explains it all. I think Kikyou has something to do with this and it's only going to get worse when people see us not hanging together like they usually do. Just tell whoever comes up to you that it's none of they're fucking business and keep walking. I hope my mom sends the limo for you again today, I miss holding you.

Kagome couldn't help but smile at his answer to the situation, she missed hearing him talk all tough and making her laugh, but all the girls turned to listen to yet another Inuyasha vs. Kouga yelling match and to see Miroku break it up.

"I think I need to talk to him." Ayame got up and walked over to Kouga and pulled him away from the table. Kagome was a little sad she couldn't calm Inuyasha like Ayame could do for her boyfriend. Just like Inuyasha she found herself hoping for the limo to show up today.

The bell rang and they all headed to class.

Kikyou could hardly wait until tomorrow, that's when Naraku would get here and the real fun would start. She looked at Kagome from behind and smirked.

`Just wait little girl, Naraku will not give up easily I should know.'

Sesshoumaru was starting to get annoyed with this, Rin was becoming depressed over Inuyasha and Kagome's problem and no one upsets his Rin. He was going find away to break Kikyou's hold over Inuyasha so he could be with Kagome and Rin could be happy again.

`This couldn't get any worse.'

Kagome's mood went down a little more when the limo didn't show up, so she rode home on her bike. Lately she had been like a machine, she would peddle home, do her homework, she would eat dinner without really talking to her worried family, take her shower, and then go to sleep. She didn't want to go any where with Sango, Rin, and Ayame anymore, all she could think about was Inuyasha and how if she left home for one minute after school she could miss his call telling her that this nightmare was over.

She went through her new daily routine and now it was time to go to bed and wake up and do it all over again. As Kagome was about to lie down the phone rang, it would wake up everybody else if she didn't answer it.

"Hello?"

"I love you"

That was all the voice said before the phone hung up, but Kagome knew the voice and she was so happy he had called even if he was probably on his father's line and would get into trouble. She went to sleep not knowing what tomorrow would hold she just knew that in two days if Inuyasha's father had not come up with something he would calling this whole thing off, and they would be happy.

Uh oh Sesshy should not have thought that!!!
