MissNikki: Both Inu and Sesshy are full human in this fic, but I kept the silver hair and amber eyes! And to answer your other question, my updating varies because of school. I try to update every day like I would love to but when school steps in everything gets messed up, like the oral report I have to present on Wednesday. But always check up on the story on the weekends that's usually when I do the most updating.

But to answer every body's question, Kikyou didn't really give up she just drop her plan in favor of Naraku's.

Inuyasha woke up the next morning with a huge headache, it hadn't gone away yet. He told his mother about Kikyou's call and what she said; his mom figured she was still up to something but would tell his father and have the phone line checked to see if the bug was still there.

He got up and dragged himself to the shower, maybe he was sick and shouldn't go to school today? The very moment that thought came into his head he snapped fully awake, he had to go to school to protect Kagome and sense Kikyou said they could be together what was stopping him from driving her to school again? That thought made him happy and he quickly showered and got dressed, not bothering to eat that morning.

Kagome stepped outside her front door and closed it behind her. She was actually afraid to go to school, something that hadn't happened to her sense freshmen year when it seemed like Kikyou and Kouga were out to get her. Kouga always making scenes about her being his women and Kikyou trying trip her in the halls. But now she had to deal with Naraku, Kikyou's own cousin. What would he do today? He'd got to Sango now what?

She was walking down the many steps of the shrine so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the young silver haired man leaning against a red car wearing a familiar smirk.

"Earth to Kagome."

"Inuyasha?" She stared at her boyfriend with wide eyes, and then looked around hoping to spot Kikyou's look out.

"Yeah it's me."

"What are you doing here!?"

"Gee, no `I'm so happy to see you'? But Kikyou called last night and told me she didn't care anymore and that we could be together."

"You're joking right, she wouldn't just let this whole thing go like that, something doesn't feel right."

"We still think she's up to something with Naraku but she doesn't seem interested in her old idea so lets just take advantage of it and be together at least for a little while, please?"

Kagome felt herself breaking down, he was using the please again, he never said it unless it was really needed and she did miss him like hell so…

"Lets go then honey"

She walked over to him and he opened the door with a huge grin on his face that made him look like a little boy again, but before she got into the car she kissed him hard.

"Now that's my kind of `hello'!"

They drove off towards school fighting over the radio like normal and pulled into the school parking lot like nothing ever happened, much too the shocked looks coming from their friends.

With promises of explaining everything at lunch they headed off to first block together holding hands. Naraku was already in class when they got there but gave no notice of them when they walked into the room or when they sat next to each other. It was almost like they didn't exist to him.

At lunch it was all around school that the star couple had gotten back together, not that they'd ever broken up. Everyone sat together at their table just like use to and demanded the story out of Inuyasha and Kagome.

"So she just lost interest?" Rin didn't buy it for a minute.

"Or Naraku's plan is supposed to be better." Inuyasha answered the question like it was nothing.

"All I know is you'd better protect my Kagome, dog breathe."

"I do that just fine" Inuyasha wrapped his arms around his girlfriend sitting on his lap and hugged her to him.

Ayame glared at her boyfriend then proceeded to knock him out of his chair, she had not forgotten about that `whipped bitches' comment. Everyone laughed at Kouga and Inuyasha started to sing `Who's Afraid of The Big Bad Wolf' in a mocking tone, it was his way of teasing him sense Kouga's nickname was wolf prince. The bell rang and everyone reported to third block with no problems.

Ayame was walking out of the gym for a drink of water, it was after school and she had volleyball practice. Kouga was back in the gym in bleachers watching and waiting to take her home, but he wasn't with her right now.

"Ayame"

She looked up from the water fountain and took a step back, Naraku was about ten feet away from her leaning against the wall.

"What do you want?"

"Just to ask you why do you stay with Kouga and put up with the way he pines over Kagome?"

"He had a crush on her freshmen year and now just thinks of her as a sister, it's nothing."

"He seems to want protect her more than you, and you haven't said anything to either of them?"

"I know Kouga loves me, if you want I'll call him out here and you can ask him for yourself."

"That won't be necessary. Now why haven't you said anything to Kagome?"

"Kagome is my friend and she doesn't do anything to purposely try and gain Kouga's attention. I can see the way she looks at Inuyasha, she loves him. And you're trying break then apart, you're disgusting!"

"No, I couldn't care less for them, it's you I'm worried about. You could do so much better than Kouga, have someone you would treat you like you deserve."

"And guess you think that person is you? Your words are poison!"

Ayame walked hastily back into the gym to find Kouga, he would kick Naraku's ass for what he said and she would enjoy watching.
