Inuyasha and Kagome walked hand-in-hand to his car after school. They had a date planned for tonight and he was supposed to drop her off at her house to get ready, he decided to take her out to dinner, but she didn't know that yet.

"So where are you taking me?"

"Can't tell."

"Fine, fine."

They fought over the radio the rest of the way to Kagome's house.

Kikyou saw Sesshoumaru waiting outside for his girlfriend and went to go find her before she came out to him. She found her still inside the building talking with her teacher about something, and waited for her outside the door.

"Okay thanks"

Rin walked out of the classroom and nearly ran into Kikyou, Rin looked at her in disgust, what had Inuyasha seen in her? The girl was deathly pale and her stare could freeze beer.

"Yes?" Was all Rin said.

"I just came to give you something, as you well know I had people watching Inuyasha and that meant watching his family too."

"Do you have a point Kikyou, I'm in a bit of a hurry."

"Yes, you see while they were watching Inuyasha they, for lack of a better term, caught your boyfriend with a female someone else."

"You lying bitch!"

"No need to yell or use such language, I do have proof, seeing as how I knew you wouldn't believe me without it."

Kikyou pulled a picture out of her purse, it was folded up, and she handed it to Rin. Kikyou watched the girl unfold the picture with controlled amusement; it would be fun watching her react.

Rin gasped when she saw the picture of her boyfriend kissing a girl with short black hair, he had his arms around the girl and his eyes closed, and all Rin could do was stare at the picture as if she was trying to find something to indicate that it wasn't real.

"And you think I'm a bad person, but you see I helped you, you would have never known about this if it weren't for me. He would have kept leading you on."

Kikyou walked off leaving still staring at the picture, now with tears brimming her eyes. Kikyou wanted to laugh, but held it in, if only little Rin knew that picture was made digitally on a computer. She and Naraku took picture of a couple kissing and simply replaced the male's image with that of Sesshoumaru from a picture they had of him.

Rin walked outside staring unblinking ahead, she had whipped away her tears, it couldn't be true, Sesshoumaru loved her, didn't he? They were going to get married and be together, she and Kagome had even made jokes about a double wedding. But that didn't matter now did it? She had the proof in her hand, he didn't love her, his was cheating on her with someone else, he was someone else now.

"Rin lets go." Rin hadn't even noticed she was outside until she heard his voice, that same voice that had whispered sweet nothings in her ear, and asked her to marry it. She looked at him from behind for a minute before following after him, but didn't say anything.

Kagome looked thoughtfully into her closet.

`What to wear?'

She was standing there in nothing but a towel; she had been that way for about five minutes now. She finally choose a soft cotton blue dress, it was her all-purpose dress, she could go anywhere in it and it would still be decent. It had v-neck cut and came down just above her knees, she put her blue, strap halls and pulled her white sweater out of the closet, it was one of those short sweaters that only reached below the shoulder blades. She painted her toenails blue, she always painted her toenails after she put on shoes (open toe shoes only) then she wouldn't have to worry about messing them up trying get the shoe on.

The phone rang, it was Inuyasha asking if she was ready yet, and that he would be on his way to get her. Not two minutes after she had hung up did the phone ring again, this time it was Sango raving about what happened to Miroku and how she was going put Kikyou in the morgue.

She was actually kind of happy when she heard the doorbell downstairs; Sango was scaring her and giving her a headache. She quickly said good-bye and hurried out her bedroom door. When she came in the living room her mom was at the door with Inuyasha standing there looking, well gorgeous. He had on black dress pants red silk button up shirt, and his hair tied in a low ponytail at the base of his neck. She had to stop herself from drooling, and keep her breathing steady as he took her hand and they walked out of the door, she was sure he could feel her pulse racing through her hand, but if he did he didn't say anything.

"So are you going to tell me where we're going now?"

"Nope"

"You're impossible."

"But great at keeping secrets." He smirked and opened the door for her.

They fought over the radio as usual until Kagome looked up to see him pulling into the parking lot of the Olive Garden (A/N: I love that place!).

"Yum, Olive Garden!"

"Yes, but this is only the first stop."

She looked over at him but she gave up on trying to get anything out of him during the ride over there, so didn't ask.

They were seated the moment they walked in the door and Kagome didn't even need to look at the menu, she got the same thing almost every time she went there. The waitress brought them their salad and breadsticks and took their order. Kagome got The Tour Of Italy and Inuyasha got a big plate of spaghetti, it was the closest thing to ramen on the menu.

"Sango called me."

"What happened?" He looked up with noodles hanging out of his mouth and Kagome had to bite back a giggle.

"That detective arrested Miroku under suspicion of murder."

"What!"

"Yeah, someone told him that Miroku tried to kill Kouga to get Ayame."

"That's a laugh."

"Yeah, Sango thinks Kikyou and Naraku did it and she's ready to kill."

"And I'll bet Miroku is as calm as always?"

"Yep"

They both looked up when Sesshoumaru and Rin walked into the resturante. Kagome noticed that Rin looked depressed.

"Great, of all the Italian restaurants he comes to this one."

"Inuyasha, look at Rin."

"She looks sad"

"Yeah, what do you thinks wrong?"

"Sesshoumaru could make anyone sad, I'm surprised she can deal with him."

Rin sat down at the table with Sesshoumaru, she hadn't said anything in ride over here, she didn't know what to say.

"Rin, you haven't been talking, what's wrong?"

"Nothing"

"Don't lie, tell me."

She couldn't believe it, he was telling her not to lie!

"Sesshoumaru if you didn't want to be with me you would tell me right?"

"You do not have to worry about that, it won't happen."

"Sesshoumaru who is she?"

"Who is who? Rin you are making no sense."

Rin pulled out the picture and handed it to him.

"Her"

"Where did you get this?"

"It doesn't matter, who is she?"

"She is no one because this is not me"

"It looks like you."

"Rin, who gave you this?"

"I thought you loved me"

She stood and walked out before he could say anything, she pass Kagome and Inuyasha. When she was outside she remembered that she didn't have a way home, so she started to walk. She was nearly away from the restaurant when a car pulled up beside her.

"Need a ride?"

She looked in and saw Naraku behind the wheel, she was so desperate she would take a ride from anyone even him, but she did have her pepper spray so it was safe right?

She got in the car and looked straight ahead as he drove off.
