A/N: YYYYYAAAAYYYYY the fic `Blood Red Eyes' by Kai19 has been updated!!!!!!!! Which is more than I can say for some the other fics out there that we all have been waiting on to update. I couldn't imagine making you guys wait too long for the next update, besides you probably hunt me down. Some authors should make New Year's resolutions to finish their fics.

I hope you guys have a happy New Year, and I don't know about you but I'm still watching Inuyasha at midnight I've seen the Mtv countdown enough times in my life.

Sango was sitting next to the bed that held her sleeping boyfriend; she had her head resting on her folded arms beneath her. Miroku had woken up and told her that it hurt a little to breath with broken ribs. She told him to take a nap because she knew he was still tired. She was now thinking of what to do, she couldn't let Naraku and Kikyou get away with this.

"Sango?" She looked back at the door and saw Ayame standing there.

"Hi"

"Is he okay?"

"Yes, he woke up and was in pain so I told him go back to sleep."

"Naraku did this too huh?"

"Yeah, how is Kouga?"

"Doing better but it will still take a while for him to heal."

"I wish the guys had never pulled that stupid stunt then maybe none of this would have happened."

"It probably would have happened anyway if Kikyou had something to say about it."

"I never truly hated anyone in my life but I can say without a doubt that I hate her with everything I am."

"Me too, so why don't we do something about her?"

"What do me mean?"

Ayame came in the room and took a seat next to Sango, they had to do something about what was happening to the people they loved.

Sesshoumaru pulled into Rin's driveway just as she was; she looked shocked to see him at first. They both got out of their cars and came face to face.

"Hey" She was looking around nervously trying to avoid his gaze.

"Where were you?"

"At the hospital, Naraku had some guys beat up Miroku, they hurt him pretty bad."

"Will he be okay?"

"Yeah I think so."

"We need to talk."

"Yeah we do."

She led him up the driveway to the house; she knew her parents were probably asleep by now so that was one less thing to worry about. They walked up to her room where the half eaten sundaes were on her bed and melted, the movie had long since stopped and the screen was blue now.

"Um Kagome and I had a little girls night." She picked up the sundaes and sat them on her desk.

"Where is Kagome?"

"Inuyasha took her home after we all left the hospital."

"Rin have you ever had doubts about us?"

"N-no not until a few days ago."

"Kikyou gave you that picture." It was more of a statement than a question.

"Yeah"

"Why did you believe her?"

"I didn't at first but then that picture and what Naraku said-"

"What did he say?"

"That you only cared about your father's business and that I was just someone to take press photos with and make you look good."

"When did he say all this?"

"That night I left you in the restaurant and he saw me walking down the street and gave me a ride."

"You got in the car with him" another statement.

"I was desperate."

"Do you believe that about me?"

"No, that I didn't believe but that picture-"

"The picture was fake, I ran it threw my computer and analyzed it." He pulled out the analysis that he had printed from the computer and handed it to her. She looked over the sheet of paper in her hands and he saw tears start in build up in her eyes as she looked up at him.

"Sess, I'm so sorry. I should have believed you."

"Yes, but I should listen to you more. Rin I have kept only one secret from you and I'm going to tell I to you now. About two and a half years ago over the summer I had a relationship with Kikyou. It only lasted a week, but I never told you because it is something I'm not proud of." He looked up and saw the amount of shock on her face even a little jealousy was there.

He got up from the bed and walked over to her.

"Now you know everything about me and so you should know that I would never hurt you or leave you for someone else, nobody else is better than you. I love you."

"I love you too."

Sesshoumaru held his girlfriend while she cried into his chest and buried his nose into her hair inhaling her sent and enjoying the feel of her in his arms, but he still hated it when she cried.

"Rin that's enough, stop it."

"But, but"

"I have something else to tell you."

"What is it?" She looked up at him with big teary, cinnamon eyes.

"I went to see Kikyou."

Rin paled at this, it was what she and Kagome had feared.

"Did you hit her?" Rin couldn't hold back the smile that came to her face at seeing her boyfriend laugh, he did it so rarely and when he was around her.

"No, but I was tempted to."

"I feel sorry for her."

"You haven't met her mother yet."

"What's wrong with her mother?"

Sesshoumaru went through everything that happened that night at Kikyou's house and watching his girlfriend laugh, he was just happy to have his Rin back.

"Is that what he said?"

"Well by the time he finds a way to return the favor it will be too late."

"Ayame do you think we could do that? What Inuyasha and Kagome won't agree to it?"

"We have got to do something Sango, it's not fair, look at what's happening to our boyfriends. Kagome had got to help us, and we will make sure she has people around to help if he gets out of hand."

"I think we should ask them tomorrow."

"Okay."

To let you guys know something weird but cool. Tonight Saturn will closer to earth than it has been in 30 years!! It's weird that the planet with most colors will be visible on New Year's Eve, and its colors kind of reminds me of party decorations or fireworks. It won't be visible again until 2034 so don't miss it!
