"So you kids thought that because you didn't have any proof, we wouldn't have paid any attention to your story?"

"Well can you blame us? Who would have thought that high school drama was court worthy?" Ayame was sitting next to Kouga with her head down and arms crossed, she felt like the detective was trying to call them all stupid.

"High school drama? Young lady if this story is true, and I'm only saying that because I have to keep an open mind, Naraku Kumara and Kikyou could go down for a number of charges even attempted murder. They could spend years in jail."

Everyone stared at Detective Uhoshi like he'd grown another head; they could be rid of Naraku and Kikyou.

"So how are we supposed to prove what they did?" Sango sounded breathy, like she was doing her best to hold back a shout of victory.

"Well the papers wouldn't be enough, the D.A. could convince the jury that you printed them out yourself and are trying to wrongly accuse Kikyou." He looked at Inuyasha and Kagome as he said this.

"And nobody saw Kikyou or Naraku cut the break line in Kouga's car. And we have no proof that the boys from the beach were sent by Naraku or Kikyou."

"Wasn't it Kikyou who came to the police station and told you that Miroku tried to kill Kouga?" The breathiness in Sango's voice was gone and you clearly hear her disgust for said girl.

"No actually it was another young girl named Kagura Hashoro." He looked at his partner.

"We need to question her."

"Wait Inuyasha isn't that the girl who kept asking you out?" Inuyasha looked at his girlfriend, how could she remember all the girls that tried to make a pass at him?

"Yeah that was her, she's on the cheerleading team."

"So she wanted to go out with you but you turned her down? It looks like she had a motive." The detective was writing down everything they were saying, this was one of the most complex cases he'd ever worked on.

"Look I have an idea to get solid proof on Naraku and Kikyou, but first we need to get all your parents down here to tell them what you've told me. We'll also need your corporation Miss Higurashi."

"Wait! What do you need Kagome for?"

"Calm down young man, I'll explain everything later.

"Inuyasha, I want to help."

"But what if you get hurt?"

"I'm sure they won't let me get hurt."

The detectives left the room to call their parents and Miroku's sodium bag needed to be changed, Kouga had to go to the restroom and Ayame went to help him blushing as she went, Rin wanted something to eat from the cafeteria and naturally Sesshoumaru took her. They were all anxious to find out how they were going to get proof on Naraku and what Kagome's part was going to be in all of it.

Naraku and Kikyou were working out the details of their plan to get Inuyasha away from Kagome. It would have to happen the night of the Winter Formal, and he would need Kikyou to provide a distraction and he knew exactly how to do that.

Kikyou only half listened to what he was saying, she was sure he would repeat it again to her like he always did. Right now she had more important things to think about, like what she found out this morning.

Flashback

Kikyou was in the bathroom sitting on the closed toilet watching the clock on the bathroom wall, just a few more minutes. She was scared and hadn't been able to eat, of course her parents didn't notice her behavior, her mother was too busy getting drunk and trying find a young man to couple with and her father was too busy watching and trying stop her mother, or trying to catch her in the act so he could divorce her.

The hands on the clock clicked into the right place and she reached over to the sink and picked up a little plastic stick, she looked at it, a blue plus sign. She was pregnant with Naraku child, she was pregnant with her cousin's child, she was pregnant.

Kikyou breath came out in short pants, she dropped the pregnancy test on the floor and back up until she fell back on the toilet and cried.

End Flashback

Kikyou watched him sitting there, all his attention focused on trying to get Kagome, when she was the one he was fucking and she was the one pregnant with his child, but he didn't care about her she knew it. It didn't bother her that much, she just needed him to get Inuyasha for her, and it would b easy to pass the child off as his once she seduced him. This plan of his had better work.

Everyone and their parents were in the new, much larger room that Miroku had been moved to. They agreed even if it did take some time to convince Inuyasha to let it happen. The police would set it up and it would happen at the Winter Formal.
