Her father has four wives, but she is the daughter of the one he loves the most. She and her mother both are Begum, or princesses. Her name is Kagome, great-granddaughter of Saosin, the greatest Moghul ruler of Arabia.

 

She has diamonds the size of her small toe, and rubies the size of beetles. She owns over thirty servants and eight elephants trained especially for her. Kagome has everything she could possibly dream of, except freedom. Of course, that's what everyone in the palace is deprived of. In tents hung with golden cloth, she drinks from emerald studded chalices and yet, she is a prisoner.
