Arranged Marriage

A/N- Okay, quick update right? Anyway, I know peeps have kinda written a lot of chapters like this one I'm about to write but the what the hey, one more person wouldn't hurt, besides it's the only way for them to meet w/o them knowing who each other are.

So here is Chapter 2!!

Chapter 2- The boy in the Gardens and Kagome's………lover?

Inuyasha swiftly ran through the forest. When he stopped to look around he noticed he was in unfamiliar territory.

(Okay, the castles for both kingdoms are on the borders so the castles aren't that far apart okay. That's how Inuyasha can be where you're about to find out.)

It looked like the end of a garden. Inuyasha saw some peach trees and decided he was a bit hungry and thought he do no harm if he took one. Before he could touch the peaches he heard soft sobbing.

"Why, why ME!" a voice said in anguish.

Caught unawares Inuyasha stumbled and snapped a twig making a loud noise.

(It was a BIG twig okay!)

"W-who is it? Who's there?" the voice said, it sounded feminine.

`Well at least it isn't a guard or anything.' Inuyasha thought as he slipped away. Trouble was, he didn't know where the voice was and he was heading in the wrong direction.

"W-who are you? What do you want?" a girl said, looking up.

"Uh………heh heh, actually I was just leaving when I er………overheard you crying," Inuyasha said awkwardly.

"You weren't stealing anything were you?" Kagome asked suspiciously.

(Like he would tell her if he was!)

"No, I just uh, was taking a walk and decided to take a break before heading back."

"Oh," Kagome said.

"So………why were you crying."

At first Kagome didn't want to tell him because she didn't trust them. But when she looked into his eyes she saw genuine curiosity and a little concern (just a LITTLE!) and she blabbed the whole thing.

"M-my father is making go into a arranged marriage. Bu-but I think I already I love someone else. I- I'm just so miserable," Kagome said in a depressed voice. (*GASP* Kagome loves someone else! AHHA! But the keyword there is THINK she THINKS she loves someone else! Boy is she in for a surprise!)

"Oh………" was all Inuyasha could think to say.

There was an awkward silence.

"………"

"………"

"………"

"………"

"Well, maybe the guy won't be so bad? Who is he anyway?" Inuyasha said, breaking the ice.

`What am I doing! I'm talking to a total stranger!'

"I'm not sure. All I know is he's the eldest prince of the Youkai Kingdom." Kagome said softly.

"WHAT!!!!!" Inuyasha exploded.

Kagome jerked up her head in surprise.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing. I uh………gotta go." Inuyasha said and raced off.

`Hmmmm………I didn't even get his name.' Kagome thought.

`Wonder why he was so fired up when I told him whom I was to marry?'

"Oh Kagome, there you are." a masculine voice said.

"Oh! I need to talk to you Koga," Kagome whispered.

(Is that how you spell Koga? I mean on the episode names things for cartoon network they spell it Koga but most people spell it Kouga. Oh well.)

"My father. He's arranged a marriage for me. Oh but Koga I'm so scared." Kagome said, leaning on his chest.

(ACKK!!! KOGA GET AWAY FROM KAGOME!!!!)

"Don't worry Kagome nothing will stand between us. Nothing." Koga said reassuringly.

"But, if we don't form the alliance it could be the destruction of the Higurashi Kingdom. I would never let that happen," Kagome said.

"We'll find a way, we'll find a way," Koga said gently, stroking Kagome's cheek.

Meanwhile, spying on them was a very happy Kikyou.

`Oh, father will be FURIOUS if he knew this!'

A/N- Hehe, sorry Kikyou fans but I just don't LIKE that woman! *Pulls out a knife and starts stabbing a doll of Kikyou*

Kikyou: Hey! What are you doing to me, I mean my doll.

FirexAngel:……..Hmmmm………voodoo! Kikyou can I have a lock of your hair.

Kikyou: *Backs away slowly* No way in hell bitch! *Starts running like crazy*

Kagome: Way to go FirexAngel!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

Inuyasha: Feh
