As Long as You're Mine

Kagome was walking towards the village. She was thinking about the surprise she was going to tell everyone. She was going to be the main character in a musical. And not just any musical, but Wicked. She was going to be Elphaba. Kagome was walking (while humming “What is This Feeling”); she smiled when she caught sight of something silver and red. Her walking seized, her smile faded into a frown, and her eyes welled up with tears when she saw a female with ebony hair embracing him. He was returning the embrace.

 

KIKYOU

 

She thought as she started to turn around to go back to the well. She started walking…then sprinting…then, when they kissed, she began to run with speed that surpassed InuYasha AND Sesshoumaru's.

 

InuYasha POV.

 

I was embracing Kikyou when the scent of salt water, cherry blossoms and strawberries hit my nose. Kagome! I thought, and was about to turn around, but was stopped when Kikyou kissed me on the lips. You see, Kikyou had put me under a spell. I almost broke free from it but it was reinforced by her kiss. Now I was not only pissed off, but heart broken as well. I had to tell her the truth. That gave me enough strength to brake free from the spell. I was about to grab Tetsusaiga, only to realize it wasn't there. I looked up at Kikyou and saw it in her right hand. She smirked at me and said, “Let's see what you can really do without your sword. That filthy thing of my reincarnation named Kagome will pay for stealing your heart from me!” That's when everything went black…my demon blood took over. Last thing I saw was Kikyou's fear stricken face and a lot of red liquid. Blood.

 

Kagome POV.

 

I reached the well and was about to jump in when I heard a low growling sound behind me. I turned around only to come face to face with a full demon InuYasha. Suddenly I heard his demon's raspy voice, “Ka…Go…Me……Help…M-me…” My eyes widened considerably. He was asking me for help, which was a miracle all by itself, but as a full demon. I thought for second, then remembered Kaguya's castle. I gathered up all my courage, and kissed him. He slowly returned turned back to his half demon self, and stunned me when he kissed me back. When the kiss broke, I felt my legs and coconscious give in, and my mind went black.

 

I woke up about two days later in Kaede's hut. The first thing I saw as my eyes fluttered open was a very worried hanyou standing above me. That night, InuYasha led me out into a lovely flower field to watch the sun set. Then, with out thinking, I started singing the song As Long Ad You're Mine from Wicked.

 

Kagome-Kiss me too fiercely

Hold me too tight

I need help believing

You're with me tonight

My wildest dreamings

Could not foresee

Lying beside you

With you wanting me

 

And just for this moment

As long as you're mine

I've lot all resistance

And crossed some borderline

And if it turns out

It's over too fast

I'll make every last moment last

As long as you're mine

 

Then InuYasha, without ever hearing the song, sang the male part

 

InuYasha-Maybe I'm brainless

Maybe I'm wise

But you've got me seeing

Though different eyes

Somehow I've fallen

Under your spell

And somehow I'm feeling

It's up that I fell

 

I was amazed. He had never heard the song before! What amazed me more was when we sang the same thing at the same time.

 

Both-Every moment

As long as you're mine

I'll wake up my body

And make up for lost time

 

InuYasha-Say there's no future

For us as a pair

 

Both-And though I know I may know

I don't care

Just for this moment

As long as you're mine

Come be how you want to

And see how bright we shine

Borrow the moonlight

Until it is though

And know I'll be here holding you

As long as you're mine

 

 

Their eyes met and they shared a passionate kiss.

 

 

So……what do you think? Should I write more? Keep in mind that this is my first fan fiction.

 

Inu: that sucked!

 

Me: (glares) oh really?

 

Inu: (gulps) no…I was…just kidding!

 

Me: you better be.

 

Inu: (mumbles) ignorant wench

 

Me: Kagome would you do the honor?

 

Kagome: sure! (glares) SIT!

 

(inu crashes into the ground)

 

me: thanks!

 

Kagome: Well, R&R!
