Hiei's POV

 

Monday came, and Kagome and I dropped the kids off at their school, and we went to ours. On our way to meet up with the others, Kagome and I were run over by a kid with white hair. He slammed into Kagome and knocked them both over. I ripped the child off of her and helped her up. She looked at him and said “Hello, I'm Kagome Higurashi and this is Hiei Jaganshi. What's your name?” He blinked and said in a slight British accent “My name is Ryou Bakura, I'm terribly sorry for running you over like that.” Kagome smiled at him. I snorted “Hn, You have company.” He whirled around and saw who I was talking about. It was a blond Egyptian and a short boy with tri-colored hair. The blond came up to Bakura and said “Finally we found you. We were only kidding about being late, Tomb Robber.” Bakura scowled, “I thought we agreed you wouldn't call me that if I didn't call you `Tunnel Rat'” The blond rolled his eyes and the short one said “Hello, my name is Yugi Mouto, This is Marik Ishtar, and you've met Ryou. Kagome laughed, “That we did.” Marik looked at Kagome “You go to the same school as us ne?” She nodded. “Then why don't we walk to school together?”

 

She looked at me, her eyes pleading. I sighed and nodded. She smiled at me and then turned to the Egyptian “Sure, we'd love to. But we do need to meet up with some people first. It's not to far away and it's in the same direction as the school.” We walked until we were in sight of the others. Once there Kagome broke into an all out run as she called back, “RACE YA TO SCHOOL HIEI-KUN!!!” I smirked and followed after her, purposely letting her win. The lord (Yusuke), the fox (Kurama), the Egyptian (Marik), The Short One (Yugi) and the Albino (Bakura) raced as well. Kagome won, but only because we let her.

 

She sulked “You let me win again! I hate it when you do that, Hiei.” Yusuke snickered. I turned to him and said “I wouldn't laugh if I were you. Keiko will be…displeased… when she finds out you switched schools. Again.” He winced. The idiot finally caught up and stupidly said “Who are they Shrimp?” I glared at him, and refused to answer. Kagome glared at him and said “Stop calling him that. I'm shorter than he is, so you are insulting me as well. By the way, they are Yugi Mouto, Ryou Bakura, and Marik Ishtar.” She pointed to each as she said their names. She introduced the rest of us, too. The day passed and after school, we all went to pick up the children. Except Kuwabaka, he had to go straight home. The three humans came as well.

 

When we got to the school, Kohaku, Souta, and Shippou hugged Kagome and I. Kohaku then looked at the three humans and said “Yugi Mouto, King of Games, pleasure to meet you. My name is Kohaku Higurashi.” Yugi looked shocked and said “Wow. It's not every day someone is actually happy to meet me.” Marik snorted “Only because you're in that shop of your grandfather's all the time unless you have a duel or you need to see Isis. My name's Marik Ishtar. Are you Kagome's adopted son?” Kohaku nodded. “That's Shippou,” He pointed to the fox, who was standing next to Kurama, “and that is Souta,” He pointed to Souta who was standing by Yusuke. Bakura smiled and said “My name is Ryou Bakura. It is a pleasure to meet you.” Marik snorted. Bakura glared at him. “The tomb robber/tomb keeper thing is getting really old.” Yusuke said.

 

Kagome, not wanting another fight to start, said “Why don't we go to my house, we'll tell our stories there.” Everyone nodded and followed her. When they got there, the Tentei immediately claimed their favorite seats, and the Yu-Gi-Oh-gumi scrambled for seats as well. Kagome started it off. “About a year ago, on my fifteenth birthday….” (A.N.-I'm not going to include the story.) “Ah. Well. That explains Shippou's tail.” Marik said. Yugi smiled and said, “My turn! Well, it all started when I finished the Millennium Puzzle” (A.N.-I'm not going to include this story either, mainly because I don't really know it.) Yusuke laughed. “An eye? Weird. K, my turn. My story started when I died….” (A.N.-I am not going to include this story either as I have just finished my first episode of Yu Yu Hakusho in over three years. Well, actually it was about fifteen minutes ago, but that's not the point! All these animes take place after the episodes end.)

After all the stories were finished, it was about five in the afternoon. Everyone was just sitting there, digesting the information. Suddenly Kagome spoke “We can't let Koenma have the Millennium Items. They'll be stolen within thirty minutes.” Hiei smirked and said “He won't let us turn this down easily. We're gonna have to pull rank on him.” Kuwabaka stared “What in hell do you mean we can't give them to him?! He can keep them safer than any human can!” Yusuke sighed “It has been proven that Koenma is too easy to steal from to just give him important artifacts. Hell, I can probably take better care of the damn items and I'm never home! I'm always out patrolling or something equally pointless. Koenma cannot have those items.” Yugi nodded and said “None of us feel complete without our items. Not even Shadi. We would not let Koenma have them anyways.” Marik and Bakura nodded in agreement. Kagome smiled and said, “Well then Yusuke-sama, why don't you open a portal so we can chew him out?” Yusuke grumbled but did so. They all stepped through the portal and into Koenma's office. He looked up and, seeing the boys he didn't recognize, said “So you found them?” Yusuke nodded “We did, but we can't let you have them.” “Your vault is too easy to steal from” Hiei said. Kagome nodded and said “We are fully prepared to pull our ranks on you to make you drop it.” Koenma sighed and said “Fine, but all of you, and I mean all, must go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in order to compensate for the two missions you have refused.” He goes on to explain that they will be retrieving a man from the `Veil' at the Ministry of Magic office and protecting Harry Potter. Everyone agreed and then went home. Three days later, they were all at the airport, ready to go to England.
