As soon as she walked through the door to the apartment that she shared with her brother, she closed it and locked it while leaning against it taking in a deep breathe of relief. Running a well manicured hand through her silky ebony hair, she closed her eyes.
"Terrible beginning to the night?" Sango giggled as she leapt over the back of the couch and was instantly in front of Kagome. Rolling her eyes, Kagome sighed and nodded her head.
"All night he was just trying to grasp my hand, telling me how beautiful I am. Seriously? I see myself in the mirror every day I know damn well that I'm not bad looking." She crossed the space from the door to a chair not far from the couch, sitting down she turned her head to look at her dear friend. Sucking in a deep breathe, she realized that Sango was completely attired for the sole purpose of going out to Rangers and rocking some men's worlds.
Her long time friend had obviously taken a hot curling iron to her normally straight black locks. Make up was lightly applied to her porcelain skin. The results of their everyday workouts at the community gym was currently clad in a tight little black dress that barely covered anything at all. The top was linked around her neck and crossed in the front covering her perky breasts leaving space shown between the two mounds. It continued down, crossing below her breasts and continuing to cross behind her back, leaving her stomach exposed. The rest of her dress was solid together from the hips down, stopping almost two inches above her knees. The shoes she wore were high heeled and a perfect match to her dress.
"Are you planning on finding someone to bring back to your apartment and keep me awake all night?"Sango's apartment was located right next to her's and Miroku's. Looking around she was surprised Miroku wasn't out here oggling her friend. "And where is my brother, normally he would be out here trying to be that guy before the night was even started."
"Oh shit, I forgot I was supposed to tell you that he already left for Ranger's. He went to meet up with Inuyasha already. He already oggled me when I first got here." Coyly Sango began to walk down the hallway swinging her hips side to side, the temptation to follow those hips with her eyes showed how skilled the girl was. Her thoughts were quickly cut off when another thought hit her.
"What are you doing here before me anyway?" Standing up she walked towards the hallway and noticed her bedroom door was ajar. Closing the distance between her and the door within two seconds she immediately knew why she was here before she was. Apparently the modest clothing she wore for her date with Kouga wasn't good enough for her and Ranger's.
"Kagome, no offense but you can't dress yourself properly. You're so damn beautiful but you never wear any of these sexy outfits that I bought you so that we could match!" Her eyes quickly went to her bed and she winced as she quickly realized why that outfit had looked familiar to her, Sango had bought her the same exact dress only in white about a month ago. The only time she wore it was in the dressing room when she tried it on. Well and once in the privacy of Inuyasha's room, but it hadn't stayed on very long.
Rolling her eyes and swiping at her bangs that hung at the corners of her eyes since she straightened them with the rest of her hair before she left earlier, she stepped all the way into the room and shut the door behind her. She knew that it didn't matter what she did that when she left the apartment for Ranger's that dress on her bed is what she would be wearing. Apparently along with those white stiletto heels that layed at the foot of her bed.
"Now your hair is fine, but I'm going to have to redo your make up to match the theme. But first you need to change into your clothes then we'll get to work. Shouldn't take too long, we should be out there by the time everyone else has decided to go out."
Arriving at Ranger's Kagome had to put up with Sango groping her breasts, something about making sure they looked even.
As they walked through the front doors they automatically saw the rest of their group and the two girls quickly were seated next to the two males who sat at the smaller bar where a young woman who sort of closely resembled Kagome was working.
"Kikyou.." It wasn't said with malice, just a soft greeting of acknowledgment.
"Kagome, Sango. The usual start off for the two of you?" She asked this as she pulled her pale hand away from the clawed hand that belonged to Inuyasha so that she could pull out two shot glasses.
"Two shots of Patron Silver like usual." The liquid was down their throats within two seconds. Both of them set their shot glasses down and turned to look at the two males who were in their presence.
"So Sango are you going to join me for a dance later, you never did answer me earlier before I left the apartment." Sango laughed as she looked into his violet eyes with her dark brown ones.
"I did so answer you, I said as long as you kept your hands out from under my dress."
He arched an eyebrow. "I think I can do that."
As they continued with their conversation Kikyou poured Kagome another shot as she gave everyone refills. Not even two seconds went by before pale blue eyes met with golden eyes. Kagome's eyes squinted into a glare before she spoke.
"What are you looking at dog breathe? Miroku why do you continue to hang out with this idiot...just being in his presence makes my IQ drop ten points." Kikyou rolled her eyes before patting Inuyasha's hand and walking away.
"I don't think you need my help for that." His ear twitched and his nostrils flared as her scent drifted towards him...she always smelled extra good when she began to pick on him. It was as if it turned her on.
"Kagome that is exactly why I hang out with him, because he gets on your nerves, unfortunately it doesn't keep you away. I'm sure without you around I could get Sango to come to her senses quicker." Just as his hand reached the aforementioned woman's thigh it was slapped away.
"Yeah right."
Before she had the chance to respond to her brother's comment she felt someone tap her on her bare shoulder. She turned her head and stared at the man through her bangs, a smile quickly crossed her face. She was staring into dark eyes, above those eyes was a cross mark that looked like it could be a scar. He had long black hair tied back yet he had bangs that hung in his face slightly. Definitely sexy, gave her goose bumps and her throat went dry quickly.
"I apologize if I'm interrupting anything, my name is Bankotsu, and I was just curious if you would like to dance?"
She listened to the music and smiled wider showing off her pearly whites when she heard the lyrics.

He couldn't help it though, seeing her in that dress just made him think about the night that she wore it for him. Her hips moving against this new guy in almost the same way they did for him. Smiling though he knew that he had experienced a movement from those hips that this guy could only dream of. His thoughts were cut off quick though when a cold hand grabbed his. Tearing his eyes away from the dance floor, he put on a smile and looked his girlfriend of three months in the eyes.
"So what time do you get off tonight?" He knew she wouldn't be up for anything tonight just like she wasn't last night.
"I get off at midnight, I worked some of the lesson's that were going on earlier, so Yuri is coming in for the last portion of the night." She sounded so bored, it made him want to yawn...but she was cute and had a tight little ass.
Sucking his lower lip inside his mouth he asked, "Well why don't you just stay and have a few drinks with me, you won't be on the clock so you could relax." A small smile cracked her face, but he knew it was a 'I'm sorry' smile, meaning that again she would decline. It's like she only had time once or twice a week to spare for him.
"I had to get up so early this morning for those final exam's of the semester, and then working here for the majority of the day. I'm tired and would like to just go home and sleep, you must know how I feel you were in college two years ago too." He nodded his head as if he understood but really he didn't, he worked his ass off even more now that he wasn't in college, being his older brother's assistant pretty much meant doing anything and everything that pleased him. Sometimes he would have to run across the whole city just for a single cappuccino. It's not that he was scared of his brother, but if he really wanted to break out in the reporting business he had to start somewhere. Actually a lot of people would kill to have his position, working there for even just a year would open doors to just about anything. Though he always managed to find time to spend with those he wanted too.
"It's okay Kikyou, we are still on for Tuesday night right?" She nodded her head as she turned around to pour a drink for someone approaching the bar. Flashing a smile to the woman as she slid the drink over to her as she sat down two or three seats away.
"Thanks KiKi, you always know exactly what I need."
"My regulars are why I put up with the bar jumpers every night. Oh thank goodness she's here, I need to get home I'm feeling like I'm ready to pass out." Inuyasha turned his head to see Yuri walking towards the station. He cringed when she lightly let her fingers collide with the bottom of his hair as she walked by all the while still smiling at Kikyou.
"Okay sweetie, you look exhausted go ahead and get out of here."
A quick kiss to the cheek and Kikyou was out of his sight before he could even think chopsticks. Turning his eyes back to the dance floor he watched as Sango accepted a shot from Miroku at the larger bar on the other side of the floor. His eyes didn't have to travel far before he saw Kagome by the bathroom entrance. Her eyes caught his and she smiled slyly while looking around to see if her dance partner was in the vicinity. When she realized that he must still be in the bathroom she blew him a quick kiss and then took off to the floor.
She had barely started dancing erotically by herself before her partner had returned to her side. They finished the song before they joined Inuyasha back at the small bar.
Kagome flung her hair back over her shoulders while she smiled at Inuyasha, "Dog breathe this is Bankotsu, Bankotsu this is dog breathe, or better known as Inuyasha. He's my older brother's best friend." The two men shook hands.
"So everyone is making friends over here without us?" Her brother's obnoxious voice slipped through her ears before she even saw him and Sango slink back into the picture. Sighing she turned while grabbing Bankotsu's arm and pulling him towards the other two.
"Bankotsu this is my annoying brother Miroku, and that is my best friend Sango." Miroku shook his hand the same as Inuyasha but Sango, she had a completely different reaction.
"Oh my god, you're so adorable together. I can already see it the both of you married with two kids. One girl and one boy." Kagome almost couldn't restrain herself enough to stop herself from making contact with her hand on Sango's face.
"She's drunk, ignore her." Bankotsu let out a deep laugh that sent a chilly wave through her body.
"It's okay." He sat down next to Inuyasha and smiled up at Yuri. "Can I get five jager bombs?" Yuri laughed and turned to grab five shot glasses. Everyone quickly filled up the rest of the seats.
An hour later when last call was rolling around the five of them were still sitting there talking and drinking as if they knew this new guy their whole lives.

"Come on dog breathe, since Kikyou skipped out on you again." Soon they were both out on the dance floor pressed against each other. She rested her head against his chest while he put his chin on the top of her head.
