Chapter One: Kagome In Trouble
R&R I don't care if you love it or hate it as long as someone takes a few moments of their lives to write some type of comment that way i don't feel like my work is a complete waste of time ( altough it might be...)I'll try and update a.s.a.p ( not that most people'll really care...)Also about this fic being a "songfic" it won't be a siongfic until further into the chapters for I plan to make this fic as long as my mind can make up stuff.

"Kagome!!!",Inuyasha yelled."Inuyasha!!!",Kagome cried as she was taken into the hands of Naraku. 'Kagome...'Inuyasha thought as he saw Kagome and Naraku dissapear into the dark sky.'Man I'm such an idiot.If only-wait what and I doing?I should be looking for her not standing here like an idiot' Inuyasha followed her scent....
'Inuyasha... 'thought Kagome.Naraku was still holding on to her even when entering his lair. "Heh,heh"Naraku chuckled. "It should only take a few more moments until Inuyasha comes to rescue you.He's just like his father falling in love with mortals.Thats his weakness and you're the bait,and when i kill him the only one left to blame will be you."He looked at the tied up Kagome on the floor and noticed that she faced a worried expression. "Afraid that your precious hanyou is going to die?Don't worry because you'll be dying with him-or better yet I'll make you my slave,together with all the shikon shards.Heh,heh, I'll make you suffer", Naraku said as he looked at the tied up Kagome. '"I'd rather die.",Kagome talked back to him,Naraku scratched her face and kicked her harder into the ground as Kagome winced in pain. 'Inuyasha please be careful.'
'Damn it,how far did Naraku take her?'Inuyasha thought as he jumped across trees,branches, rocks,and rivers but still the scent of Kagome kept on dragging on.But then,he sensed something foul on Kagome's scent and he didn't even need to think what it was:Kagome's blood. 'Damn you Naraku,involving Kagome.' As he thought this he picked up speed.'Kagome hang in there,I'm coming....'
'That should make him mad,and probably a lot faster.' Naraku thought as he pierced his nails through Kagome's flesh. Along with the scrape on her face her arms and legs were bleeding. She fought back the tears of pain as blood oozed out of her legs and arms and drops slipped down her face.
"Kagome!!!", a cry yelled out from above. 'Finally' Naraku thought. He carried up the injured Kagome. 'Inuyasha!You came?!', Kagome though as Inuyasha sliced through the cave into a huge hole.Inuyasha leapt unto the floor with the Tetsusaiga in hand. Naraku was surprised at how much damage that sword could do with so little effort.naraku wasn't going to flee, not yet. He was going to find out that swords true power. "Inuyasha, I see you've come at last." "Naraku, you bastard.Get the hell away from Kagome!!!, Inuyasha yelled as he ran towards Naraku trying how to figure out how to slice him without harming Kagome. "WIND SCAR!!!", Inuyasha yelled as he sliced through Naraku's shoulder and neck; inches away from Kagome.Blood spurted from the wounds and Inuyasha watched as Naraku slowly disintegrated into the air.
'Is this the end? Have I finally defeated Naraku?No.' Inuyasha thought as he saw the golem left behind by Naraku.Fortunately he didn't take Kagome. 'But why...-thats not important now.Whats important now is taking care of Kagome!'Kagome was on the floor. It looked like she had passed out due to losing so much blood.Inuyasha gasped. "Kagome!!!"
*Back at Camp*
"Whats taking Inuyasha and Kagome so long?", asked a worried little kitsune. "Don't worry Shippo, they'll be back soon."Sango assured Shippo. 'At least I hope.Shippo's got a point,they've been gone a while haven't they? I hope they're all right - !'Suddenly she felt a hand grope her rear end ( you don't have to guess)"Uhhh! Miroku you pervert!", Sango yelled as she slapped Miroku across the face. "You looked so worried Sango and I was only trying to comfort you..."Miroku began. "Don't need comforting, especially from a hentai like you!", Sango yelled back.
*Naraku's lair*
"Kagome!!!" Inuyasha cried, rushing to lift her up into his arms. Her eyes were closed shut and was facing an expression close to death. 'This can't be happening!'Inuyasha though as he pulled her closer to him. 'And whats worse is that its all my fault. Kagome...'"I...Inu..yasha", Inuyasha heard a whisper utterly speaking from Kagome's lips.She pulled away a little bit from the position that she was at (right under Inuyasha's neck to be exact) and tried to sit upright but then Inuyasha stopped her. "Don't strain yourself", Inuyasha hugged her tightly. "Inuyasha you're hurting me...", Kagome tried to pull back the tears of pain but she couldn't help herself into doing so.Inuyasha sensed the drop of the tear and looked at Kagome's face,seeing the tear fall gently across her face.Inuyasha looked away and muttered to himself; blaming himself for not being able to be there for herin time. Somehow, Kagome heard it. "Its all right", Kagome began.Inuyasha looked at her, noticing that she had overheard him. "Its not all right.You never complain about anything and I always insult you, not caring about how you feel,while you only care about how everyone else feels",Inuyasha said to Kagome,with that gentle expression on his face. "Kagome, I'm sorry", Inuyasha said slowly.Kagome gasped.She had never heard him talk like this before. She had heard Inuyasha apologize in the past but never like this...actually she had.The day when Inuyasha was severely injured after that encounter with Sessho-maru.He had been worried about her ( at least he acted that way) and had hugged her telling her that he was sorry. But the purpose into doing that was for Kagome to lower her guard and give Inuyasha a chance to steal the jewel shard and send her through the well to her time. She knew that he only cared about Kikyo,no matter how many times Inuyasha insisted on saying that he would protect her. "The only reason why I am always so symphathetic aroung you is because you know and I know tha you still love Kikyo and you don't care about-" Inuyasha cut her off. "Stop it! Its not true! I care about you deeply...", Kagome gasped once more. Even Inuyasha was surprised at what he said. 'I care about you deeply...where the hell did that come from?!' He looked at Kagome who was just as surprised as he was. As she was about to say something Inuyasha cut her off once more with a gentle smile on his face. "Shhh, you havr got to rest. Now close your eyes and go to sleep." Kagome cuddled up to Inuyasha while Inuyasha held her gently, trying not to hurt her in anyway like last time. Kagome fell asleep. With hidden tears of sadness in her eyes.
"Inuyasha, Kagome!!!"cried a happy little Shippo. "What happened to Kagome?", asked Sango,rushing up to them. "She's hurt, but all she needs is some rest and she'll be fine. I'll take care of her.", Inuyasha said, while looking over Kagome carefully. "We should prepare two tents. One for you, Miroku, Kirara, and Shippo. The other one for Kagome and me", Inuyasha explained. At first, Sango was surprised by this comment but then understood. She knew that he really cared about Kagomw but she never knew that he would be so worried for her to actually show that he cared about her in front of everyone.Miroku Sango Shippo didn't dare argue with him, especially in this situation. "Sure, of course"Sango nodded towards him. Inuyasha nodded in agreement.
The moon was shining brightly tonight as Sango and Miroku prepared the tents.Inuyasha watched Kagome very cautiously. He eyed all of her wounds. 'She must be in a lot of pain', Inuyasha thought as he gently touched her face. "The tents are ready!" telled Sango and Miroku. "And just in time because its getting late "Inuyasha said as he looked at the night sky. Everyone went into their tents. Inuyasha carried Kagome in his arms inside the tent and sat down in a corner. Inuyasha layed agains the tents wall with Kagome safe in his arms. He brushed the hair off her face. The color on her face had become more vivid but she faced a frightening expression. "Kagome?" Inuyasha called out to her. No answer.
