A/N: Hey everybody, what’s up? In this chapter, it’s the Shikon Concert!! Inuyasha and Kagome see Kikyo. Inuyasha sings a song solo, which is going to be Scars, and a song with Sesshoumaru called Down with the Sickness. I found it very fitting. LOL. Inuyasha also invites Kagome onstage, just to embarrass her. HAHA! Well, enjoy and R&R.

Chapter 8: The Shikon Concert
Inuyasha still had his arm around Kagome's waist as he led her backstage, following the rest of the band members. The girls who they passed groaned and booed at them, jealous of Kagome. He felt her cringe as some slut screamed at her.
"You don't deserve to be with him! He should be mine!"
Inuyasha looked up to see who this voice belonged to. The face he saw would haunt him for the rest of the night. It was that bitch Kikyo! He growled at her and yelled back, startling the crowd.
"Shut the fuck up Kikyo! You're just a bitch and a whore! Burn in hell for all I care, and don't insult my date!"
'Date?!' Kagome thought.’ He never said this was a DATE?!'
"Date?! This is you're date?! She is just a replica of me. She will never be worth anything." Kikyo spat in despise. She shrank back when she saw his golden eyes turn blood red.
"Don't you dare say that! Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT insult Kagome in front of me. I suggest you leave before something bad happens." Inuyasha stood menacing, flexing his fingers menacingly.
Kikyo saw the blood red eyes and decided to heed his warning. But, not before she shot Kagome a look of pure hatred. Kagome returned the look, and the slutty woman just rolled her eyes. Kikyo huffed and pushed her way through the crowd, away from the couple.
Inuyasha's eyes melted from the crimson color to its normal golden haze. He looked at Kagome and saw her staring at him with wide eyes. He smelled surprise, anger, and something else he couldn't quite place. But, it smelled familiar.
"Inuyasha, who was that?" Kagome put her hands on her hips, in turn shoving his off her waist.
"That was a bitch of a girlfriend I used to have. She's been trying to get me back. But hell will freeze over and Sesshoumaru will give me a blowjob before I get together with her. Just to let you know, hell WILL freeze over before Sess gives ANYONE head." Inuyasha said bitterly.
All Kagome could say was "Oh". She shook her head and smiled warmly at him.” Let’s get going. We don't want to be late for you're very own concert. But wait a sec, I was wondering...why did you call me you're date?"
He just smirked at her and replied,” You are a much better person than her, and I wanted to make her jealous. Hope you don't mind." With that, he grasped her around her waist and gave her a wink. Together, they walked through the crowd and backstage.

Kagome headed off to Sango's dressing room when Inuyasha was called to tune the guitars. She opened the door and found Sango and Rin talking to each other. Rin smiled warmly at Kagome and ushered her inside. Kagome walked in, shut the door, and sat down on the couch next to her. Sango smiled at her when she saw how happy Kagome was.
"So, Kagome, what happened to make you so happy?" she asked coyly. Kagome blushed slightly and replied, "Inuyasha called me his 'date'."
"When did he say this?" Rin asked. Kagome's eyes darkened slightly. "Kikyo, Inuyasha's ex-girlfriend, insulted me outside, and he told her not to insult his 'date'. ...... What happened between them?"
"Well, Kikyo and Inuyasha were together since he was 16. He planned on marrying her. Then, one night, one of his guards told him Kikyo had left with a mysterious man. Inuyasha followed them to a motel. He found her fucking this guy named Onigumo. He...ahhh... went crazy, sort to speak, and almost killed Onigumo. Inuyasha threw Kikyo out of the house and put a restraining order on her. Apparently Kikyo and Onigumo had been together for a year, and Onigumo didn't know about her relationship with Inuyasha. So he broke up with her. She has been trying to get back together with Inuyasha for a long time. But he won't take her back. You are the first girl he has been interested about in a loooonnnnngggg time. Like, 3 years."
"Thanks for explaining it to me Sango. I feel bad for Inuyasha. He loved Kikyo and she betrayed him. Damn, if that bitch comes around again, I WILL kill her. She doesn't deserve to live after she did that. But, what happened to Onigumo?" Kagome looked at Sango, waiting for her to answer.
"Well, ironically, Inuyasha and he are friends. Kikyo betrayed them both, so they relate to each other. Onigumo is one of our rodes." Sango replied.
"Okay, and also I was wondering why Kikyo called me her 'double'. What does that mean?" Kagome questioned.
"Well, you look like her. It’s like you could be her sister or something. But, in my opinion, you are more beautiful in body and soul." Rin told her energetically. Kagome smiled at her and blushed slightly. Rin continued,
“You like him, don't you?"
Before she could answer, the door opened and Miroku was standing in the opening. "Concert's starting. Sango, you've got five minutes. Kagome, Rin will escort you to the viewing area. You're little friends Eri and Yuri are waiting for you there."
"Thanks Miroku." All the girls chirped in unison. Rin pulled Kagome off the couch and towards the door. Sango closed the door after she pushed a protesting Miroku out. He headed off in the opposite direction the girls were headed.
Kagome could have found Eri and Yuri even without Rin's help. Her two friends were screaming their heads off in the viewing area. She joined them and instantly became hyperactive.
Kagome, Eri, and Yuri watched the first bands play to open for Shikon. She jumped and screamed with the other girls, but was more excited when she thought about hearing Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo play.
'I wonder if they are good. I haven't heard them talk about practicing. Is Inuyasha a good singer? I hope so, he is hot, and with a nice voice it would be perfect. Whoa, were did that come from? Oh shit, I do like him.' her face contorted into a look of surprise. She smiled and continued to jump with new enthusiasm.
Suddenly, Kagome stopped. Her eyes grew into large disks as she realized what tonight was.
"Oh shit, I was supposed to train tonight. Sensei Myoga is going to kill me. I have to go call him." she muttered to herself. Kagome took her cell phone out of her back pocket and quickly dialed his number. One ring....two rings.....three rings....
"Hello, this is Master Myoga of the Fukai Mori dojo. How may I assist you?" the man on the phone asked.
"Hey Sensei, its Kagome. I'm so sorry I didn't call you earlier. I can't come to classes tonight because I am at a concert with some friends. I promise I will come to training tomorrow though." she pleaded.
"Hmmmm, ooookkkaayy, but be careful. You know it’s the full moon and demons are out more than normal. Don't hesitate to use your powers to purify their asses if needed." Master Myoga warned.

"Master Myoga, I will use anything to protect myself. What's ironic right now is that I am in the company of Taisho’s sons Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Do you remember Taisho? He helped us out that time with the panther tribe, and he treated me like a daughter. Anyways, Inuyasha will probably protect me if I need help. Another thing that is funny is they think I'm some regular ningen girl who has no clue about demons and shit. Neither of them knows who I am, or what I do."

"Inuyasha actually believed that I was afraid of motorcycles. Not only that, he thinks I CAN'T kick his ass. Oh one of these days he will get it. But until then, I have to pretend to be a goody-goody and not dress like I normally do. Oh and thanks. Your scent concealment spell worked perfectly."
Myoga at this point was laughing hard.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, he thinks you, the great miko-slash-slayer of evil demons Yomichi, is afraid of motorcycles. How many do you own now, thirteen?"
Kagome sighed, looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping and answered,” I own twenty-six, Myoga. Damn, you've decided now to lose your memory, huh?"
"Hey, watch it or tomorrow I will make you run laps. So....what's this about Inuyasha? Isn't he a famous musician?"
"YAAAh, now ya get it. We are at THEIR concert. Oh, speaking of them, you have to come by the house tomorrow. I am moving into the Shikon band's mansion, so I need you to help me put spells on my room and on the grounds. I also need you to help me remove the spells on my apartment too."
"Kagome, you know you can put and remove those spells. You are far more powerful than I am." Myoga said.
"Okay, I kinda wanted the company and I wanted to introduce you to my new friends. Inuyasha, well you already know about him, Sango is a demon slayer, Miroku is a monk, and Shippo is a kitsune demon. They are an odd collection of friends, but I want to know WHY they are together. Anyways, I gotta go. Shikon is about to play, and Eri is about to have a hernia if I don't get off the phone. Luv ya, sensei. Byes."
"Okay, Kagome, I'll ride with you after practice tomorrow. Goodbye."

"Hey Kags, who were you talking to?" Yuri asked.
"Oh, I was just talking to my uncle Myoga," Kagome lied.
She didn't even tell her best friends about her miko and slayer training. No one, save her sensei and her grandfather, knew about her training. She would be in danger if anyone knew.
"Okay, well, Shikon is about to go on. Let's watch them from the side of the stage." Eri said.
The three girls walked over to the side of the stage and looked out. The entire stadium was filled with Shikon fans! All the girls thought in unison, 'I'm glad we got backstage. The stadium is packed!'
Suddenly, a voice came over the speakers.
"HEY EVERYBODY ARE YOU READY FOR SHIKON!?" The crowd roared in response to the disembodied voice. Kagome, Eri, and Yuri began screaming with the fans when Shikon was announced.
Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo came out to go onstage. Kagome spotted the group coming towards her and her friends. She came up to the group and hugged each member, not before slapping Miroku.
"Good luck guys. I bet you will be great!" Finally she came to Inuyasha. Kagome wrapped her arms around the silver haired rock star and wished him luck. Inuyasha put his index finger under her chin to lift her head. He gave her a peck on the lips.
"Now, I will have good luck." he said, giving her his trademark smirk. Kagome blushed and pulled away. "Uhh, ok-kay, yeah, well, I'll w-watch from o-over here." She walked away, still blushing. Miroku nudged Inuyasha with his elbow and grinned a perverted grin. Sango rolled her eyes and Shippo was completely oblivious.
'How does he do that? I'm supposed to be in control of my emotions, not let them control me. Maybe...no, it's not possible. Well, maybe it is, maybe he is the one. What if he is the one in the legend? Tomorrow, I have to talk to sensei and tell him.' Kagome thought as she walked back to Eri and Yuri.
Inuyasha found Sesshoumaru as they headed to the rafters where they would begin. The announcer came on again to welcome the band. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo walked onstage and took their places with their instruments. The crowd became unsettled when Inuyasha didn't walk onstage with the rest of the band. Suddenly, his voice came over the speakers.
"What's up Shikon fans? Our first song is one of my personal favorites. My dear brother Sesshoumaru is going to help me out with it. How bout' we get a little DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS!"
The fans started screaming when the band started playing and a spotlight went up to Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, who were up in the rafters high above the stage. Suddenly, Inuyasha jumped down straight to the stage. Sesshoumaru, however, was engulfed in light and mist. When it cleared, there was a huge dog in his place. The dog jumped down onto the stage and landed with Inuyasha. Both were surrounded by light, and then both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru stepped from it with microphones in hand. Then, they began to sing.
(A/N: When Inuyasha sings, the lyrics will be like this -Down with the sickness. When Sesshy sings its going to be like this- Down with the sickness. When they sing together, the lyrics will be like this- Down with the Sickness. K. Thanks everybody.)
Inuyasha began to sing the song, walking around on the stage.

Then, Sesshoumaru began to sing with his deep baritone voice.

The song was ended with a huge explosion and fire from the pyrotechnics shot from the front of the stage. The crowd roared when Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru finished singing. Kagome was screaming her head off because they were so awesome. She loved Inuyasha's voice.
'Wow, he is a great singer. Plus, that was just a fitting song. Haha. Well, I wish one day he would sing something for me. Okay, I think I am on crack or something. Where is this coming from. Maybe he is the one. Well, I'm glad I'm moving in with him. I can find out if he truly is.' she thought.
Inuyasha raised his microphone and began to speak, "Let's hear it for my brother, Sesshoumaru!" He stretched his hand in gesture to his sibling. Sesshy took his bows and left the stage and a cheering, screaming crowd in his wake.
The silver-haired rock star turned back to the fans and spoke again, "Now, this song is for the bitch I used to date. Kikyo, listen well." With that Sango, Miroku, now playing bass, Shippo, and Inuyasha, who was playing lead guitar, began the song.

By the time Inuyasha was finished singing, tears were streaming down Kagome's face. She could feel the pain and sadness in his song. Suddenly, a surge of anger went through her body. Kagome spotted that bitch Kikyo close to the stage. 'If she does anything, I will blow my cover and kick her ass. I don't care if Inuyasha finds out about me. He didn't deserve what happened to him. I'm going to try and open his heart back up.'
Inuyasha bowed, then began to speak to his fans," Hey everybody, did ya like that? -Crowd roared- Oh, so you did. Well, I would like you to welcome my newest friend. Some here might know her, some might not. Kagome, will you come out onstage? Everyone, please welcome Kagome Higurashi!"
Kagome was in shock. Eri and Yuri pushed her towards the stage entrance. She was still numb as she walked onstage. She finally snapped out of her trance when the crowd roared to welcome her. Kagome's face grew hot and a blush rose to her face. She walked straight up to Inuyasha, who was smirking as wide as he possibly could. He was ENJOYING this. Oh, would she get him back.
"Hey Inuyasha, hey everybody!" she said into the microphone, "Oh, Inuyasha, I forgot to tell you, your gyno called during the concert. He said you can come in for your pap smear tomorrow morning."
Kagome ran from the stage, but blew him a kiss before she disappeared behind the stage. She left the crowd roaring with laughter and a flustered rock star in her stead. Once she was backstage with Eri and Yuri, Kagome started laughing. She was cracking up so hard she fell over. Eri and Yuri were laughing just as hard. Rin and Sesshoumaru ran over to the three girls and pulled Kagome up. Rin hugged her and laughed with her. Sesshoumaru kept his stone-like air, but he had amusement in his eyes and his mouth hinted a smile. Kagome saw this and said,
"Fluffy, you know that's funny. Laugh, come on we won't tell anyone."
His expression went cold in one second flat. Sesshoumaru glared first at Kagome, then at Rin.
"Rin, why did you tell her that? No one, with the exception of you, calls me Fluffy."
Rin walked over to him and smiled. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his lips. "Oh Fluffy, I just told her because she is one of my new best friends. You can understand that."
He sighed and looked at Kagome. "Okay, I guess its fine, just don't call me Fluffy. Understand that miko."
Kagome's face went into shock. Her eyes widened and she began to panic. Sesshoumaru sensed her fright and tried to reassure her.
"Kagome, its okay, chill. I always knew you were a miko. I could sense through the concealment spell, but barely. Inuyasha has no idea. I will keep your secret, but I want information from you. I want to know who you REALLY are. I promise, if you do tell me, I will protect you. Rin will too. Not only will she understand and keep your secret, she is a weapon's master. Now, please come with me and explain."
"Okay, I will tell you and Rin, but you have to keep your promise to watch out for me." she replied.
Sesshoumaru led Kagome and a clueless Rin to his dressing room. He put a soundproof spell on the room and ushered them in. Kagome and Rin went inside and sat down on the couch. Sesshy closed the door and locked it. He turned around and said one word, "Explain."
Kagome took a deep breath and began to speak.” Well, as you have sensed, I am a miko. I don't know how strong I truly am, but I do know I'm alot stronger than all the miko's I've met before. But, I am more than that. I am a martial arts master because I am someone you might have heard of. I am not only Kagome Higurashi. I am also Yomichi, the slayer."
"The demon slayer?" Rin asked.
"No, not just demons. Evil demons. I refuse to slay demons just because of what they are. Take Sesshoumaru here, or Shippo, even Inuyasha, even if he is only half. I have been searching for one specific demon. I figure you could probably help me with him, Sesshy. I am looking for the hanyou Naraku."
"Why are you searching for him? What has he done now?" Sesshoumaru asked.
Kagome's eyes watered up and a tear slipped down her cheek. She began to cry as she answered, "Naraku killed my family. First he killed my father. Then, right in front of my eyes, he killed my mother and younger brother, Souta. From then on I trained with my sensei to kill Naraku and reclaim my family's honor. I lived with my grandmother and my grandfather until I was old enough to move out. I got an apartment in California and continued my miko and martial arts training. Then, one night, I came home to find my apartment in ruins. A bomb had been planted by one of Naraku's cronies. So, I moved here to New Orleans. Sensei Myoga came with me and bought a dojo, which is also his home. He will be coming by the mansion tomorrow to put spells on the property. Actually, I just want him to meet everybody. Sensei is like a father to me. But, anyways, I moved here about a week ago, and yesterday I met Inuyasha. Can I tell you two something?"
Both nodded their heads yes and Kagome continued. "Well, I am going to tell you about a legend. It was passed down from generation to generation in my family. The legend tells of a miko, whose power surpassed even the mighty Midoriko. Something she loved above all else would be destroyed by a powerful hanyou, whose human body was devoured by demons. She would then meet another powerful hanyou, who would love and protect her. The hanyou would also kill the evil that tries to destroy the miko. The miko, of course, applies to me. Sensei Myoga is a flea demon that stays under a spell that turns him human. He knew Midoriko, about 700 years ago, and he claims I am more powerful than she was. I know it applies to me because Naraku, the evil hanyou, killed my family, which I cherished above all else. But, I have yet to find the hanyou who will protect me. But..."
She paused, looking at them with a slight blush on her face. Sesshy ushered her to continue. Kagome took a deep breath, and began to speak. "Well, I believe, it is a possibility Inuyasha might be the hanyou. He is the only guy I have ever had even remote feelings about. Whenever I am around him, I feel truly protected. I believe he could be the hanyou from the legend. Please don't think I am weird or anything."
When Kagome was telling of the legend, Sesshy was deep in thought. ‘The legend she tells of is the same as our family’s legend. So, we have finally found the miko who Inuyasha will protect with father’s fang. I will do my part to put an end to Naraku.’
Kagome began a fresh stream of silent tears as she lowered her head. Rin scooted over next to Kagome and held her. Then, she began to cry, too. Rin hated it that Kagome's entire family had been killed by that bastard. Sesshy showed no emotion, as usual, but his eyes showed kindness, understanding, and compassion for her. He reached over and lifted Kagome's head. Sesshy spoke to her in a voice full of a kindness he didn't even know he had.
"Kagome, I think you are right. Inuyasha has not known you long, but he has changed. I see it in him even now. He cares for you, and he wants to protect you. Also, Inuyasha would kill Naraku if he knew. You moving in with the band will be good, for both of you. Also, Rin and I will help you kill Naraku, too. I give you my word as not only as a friend, but as the Taiyoukai of the Western Lands. But, I want you to tell Inuyasha that you are a miko. That is all I ask of you. He has a right to know."
Kagome's tears stopped and she smiled. She hugged Rin, then Sesshy. "Thank you so much you too. It feels nice to have someone to talk to and who also understands. I really appreciate it. And I will tell Inuyasha tomorrow when Sensei comes over to the mansion with me. Well...we better get back to the concert. My friends will be worried about me."
"Yes, I want to see if Inuyasha will do anything about your little joke from earlier. By the way, that was a terrific idea, if I do say so myself." Sesshy mused.
"Thanks. He was enjoying embarrassing me too much, so I decided to put him in his place." she answered.
"It’s about time. If someone didn't, I would have, and it would not be pretty." Sesshy said.
"Oh really, I think I can take care of that. Do you have any rosaries around here?" Kagome asked.
"I do! It’s totally awesome. It’s got purple beads and fangs." Rin piped, hyper as usual.
"Get it. I will put a charm on it to contain him with one word. What word should I use? I will be the only one who can control him."
"What do you say to a dog if you want to make him obey?" Sesshy questioned coyly.
"SIT!" both girls yelled. Rin then reached into her handbag and pulled out the rosary. Kagome quickly grabbed it and began chanting the spell. The rosary began to glow bright blue as the spell was put into place. It stopped glowing after Kagome finished chanting.
"There, now the spell is put into place. When I put this around Inuyasha's neck, he will be under my control with the word Sit." she said confidently. Sesshy began to chuckle and Rin giggled like a schoolgirl on crack. The three exited the room in search of InuYasha to finish Kagome's prank.
While the three were talking, Shikon played through the rest of the concert. Then, once they left the stage, the group decided to find their newest friend.
Inuyasha was mad. Okay, he wasn’t mad, he was…annoyed. And confused. How did Kagome know that he was enjoying embarrassing her?
‘Can she sense my emotions, like a miko or demon? No, she isn’t a demon; demons would have a certain scent that couldn’t be hidden. Her scent seems to be missing something. Kagome must be hiding it, which in turn would mean she is a miko. Or…maybe I’m just hoping she is. But, I seem to be drawn to her like magnet. I just hope she is the one from the legend. I sure wouldn’t mind that one bit. Well, I’m glad she is moving in with us. Ha, I just want to see her face when she finds out where she will be sleeping.’ –Evil laugh-
Kagome and Sesshy sensed Inuyasha coming towards them and prepared for their joke. When he rounded the corner, Sesshy jumped him and held him down while Kagome put the necklace around his neck. Inuyasha didn’t make it easy for them, though. He fought tooth and nail to get away.
“Get the fuck off me!” he yelled as loud as humanly, or hanyouly, possible. Kagome slipped the necklace around his neck and finished the spell to put it into place. The rosary began to glow and Kagome yelled, “Sit!”
Inuyasha dropped to the ground and was held for a few minutes before the spell wore off. He stood up and glared from Sesshy to Kagome and back. Sesshy’s face was its normal stoic look, with a hint of humor in his eyes. Kagome, however, was wearing a smirk identical to Inuyasha’s famous one.
“What the hell did you do that for? What is this?” he demanded.
“Consider this payback for earlier. Now, whenever I say the word, you will fall to the ground. I and only I can control you. When I deem you worthy, I will take the necklace off. Until then, I suggest you behave yourself.” Kagome grinned a wide grin and started skipping off towards her friends. Inuyasha growled and tried to follow her, but Sesshy held him back.
“I have to talk to you.” He said as he motioned for Inuyasha to follow him. Inuyasha shrugged and followed his older brother into his dressing room. Sesshy closed the door and Inuyasha immediately began to speak.
“Sesshoumaru, what the hell is this about?” he demanded.
“Calm yourself little brother. I merely wish to speak to you about the legend. Have you found the miko yet?” Sesshy asked, knowing that Kagome was the miko.
“I think I might have, but I don’t know if she is one or not. That girl that we picked up tonight, Kagome, I think might be the miko. I spent all day yesterday with her, and I felt something I have never felt before, even when I was with Kikyo. I think Kagome might be the one. Do you think I should take her to Dad’s and have her try out the sword?”
“Yes” was Sesshy’s reply. The brothers looked at each other with understanding, and immediately left the room. They rounded up the rest of the group, plus Kagome’s friends, and took everybody home. When they drove up to Kagome’s apartment complex, Inuyasha got out and walked her upstairs. When they reached her room, Kagome turned around to face the hanyou.
“Thank you for walking me to my room. It was very sweet of you.” She began to blush as she talked. Inuyasha lifted her head and smirked.
“Me? Nice... never.” With that, he leaned down to kiss her. He was expecting to just give her a quick kiss, but she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in. He licked her lips, begging entrance, which she granted without hesitation. Inuyasha’s tongue searched the cavern of Kagome’s mouth, tasting her.
‘She tastes like cloves and honey. I like the way she tastes. If only this could last forever.’ He thought.
Her tongue was equally entranced by his mouth as well. Kagome ran her tongue up and down his fangs and shivered.
‘Damn, the fangs are totally turning me on. I wish this could last forever.’
With hesitation, the two broke apart, gasping for air. Inuyasha looked at Kagome, who was flushed with excitement and embarrassment.
‘I wonder if she would look this good if we…. No don’t think about that, no, NO! Damn, too late. I need a good, cold shower.’
She turned and saw him smiling at her, so she gave him her award-winning smile. Inuyasha leaned over to her ear and asked,
“Kagome, will you be my girlfriend?”
Kagome looked at him in bewilderment, but nodded her head nonetheless. She smiled and hugged him.
“Sure Inuyasha. So, what are we going to do after I move in tomorrow?” she asked.
“We are going to visit my parents. I want you to try something.” He answered.
“Okay” was all she said. Kagome opened the door to her apartment and stood in the doorway. She turned around to Inuyasha one more time and gave him a kiss on the lips. Then, just as quickly, she turned around and closed the door. Inuyasha stood there frozen, unsure of what just happened. When it finally registered with him, he smirked and went down to the awaiting limo.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I haven’t updated in a while, but I totally smashed my modem on my laptop, so I can’t get my chapters online until I do enough chores to get my parents to buy another . But, I promise, I will finish the story if it takes me the rest of my life!!!

Inuyasha looked up to see who this voice belonged to. The face he saw would haunt him for the rest of the night. It was that bitch Kikyo! He growled at her and yelled back, startling the crowd.
"Shut the fuck up Kikyo! You're just a bitch and a whore! Burn in hell for all I care, and don't insult my date!"
'Date?!' Kagome thought.’ He never said this was a DATE?!'
"Date?! This is you're date?! She is just a replica of me. She will never be worth anything." Kikyo spat in despise. She shrank back when she saw his golden eyes turn blood red.
"Don't you dare say that! Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT insult Kagome in front of me. I suggest you leave before something bad happens." Inuyasha stood menacing, flexing his fingers menacingly.
Kikyo saw the blood red eyes and decided to heed his warning. But, not before she shot Kagome a look of pure hatred. Kagome returned the look, and the slutty woman just rolled her eyes. Kikyo huffed and pushed her way through the crowd, away from the couple.
Inuyasha's eyes melted from the crimson color to its normal golden haze. He looked at Kagome and saw her staring at him with wide eyes. He smelled surprise, anger, and something else he couldn't quite place. But, it smelled familiar.
"Inuyasha, who was that?" Kagome put her hands on her hips, in turn shoving his off her waist.
"That was a bitch of a girlfriend I used to have. She's been trying to get me back. But hell will freeze over and Sesshoumaru will give me a blowjob before I get together with her. Just to let you know, hell WILL freeze over before Sess gives ANYONE head." Inuyasha said bitterly.
All Kagome could say was "Oh". She shook her head and smiled warmly at him.” Let’s get going. We don't want to be late for you're very own concert. But wait a sec, I was wondering...why did you call me you're date?"
He just smirked at her and replied,” You are a much better person than her, and I wanted to make her jealous. Hope you don't mind." With that, he grasped her around her waist and gave her a wink. Together, they walked through the crowd and backstage.

Kagome headed off to Sango's dressing room when Inuyasha was called to tune the guitars. She opened the door and found Sango and Rin talking to each other. Rin smiled warmly at Kagome and ushered her inside. Kagome walked in, shut the door, and sat down on the couch next to her. Sango smiled at her when she saw how happy Kagome was.
"So, Kagome, what happened to make you so happy?" she asked coyly. Kagome blushed slightly and replied, "Inuyasha called me his 'date'."
"When did he say this?" Rin asked. Kagome's eyes darkened slightly. "Kikyo, Inuyasha's ex-girlfriend, insulted me outside, and he told her not to insult his 'date'. ...... What happened between them?"
"Well, Kikyo and Inuyasha were together since he was 16. He planned on marrying her. Then, one night, one of his guards told him Kikyo had left with a mysterious man. Inuyasha followed them to a motel. He found her fucking this guy named Onigumo. He...ahhh... went crazy, sort to speak, and almost killed Onigumo. Inuyasha threw Kikyo out of the house and put a restraining order on her. Apparently Kikyo and Onigumo had been together for a year, and Onigumo didn't know about her relationship with Inuyasha. So he broke up with her. She has been trying to get back together with Inuyasha for a long time. But he won't take her back. You are the first girl he has been interested about in a loooonnnnngggg time. Like, 3 years."
"Thanks for explaining it to me Sango. I feel bad for Inuyasha. He loved Kikyo and she betrayed him. Damn, if that bitch comes around again, I WILL kill her. She doesn't deserve to live after she did that. But, what happened to Onigumo?" Kagome looked at Sango, waiting for her to answer.
"Well, ironically, Inuyasha and he are friends. Kikyo betrayed them both, so they relate to each other. Onigumo is one of our rodes." Sango replied.
"Okay, and also I was wondering why Kikyo called me her 'double'. What does that mean?" Kagome questioned.
"Well, you look like her. It’s like you could be her sister or something. But, in my opinion, you are more beautiful in body and soul." Rin told her energetically. Kagome smiled at her and blushed slightly. Rin continued,
“You like him, don't you?"
Before she could answer, the door opened and Miroku was standing in the opening. "Concert's starting. Sango, you've got five minutes. Kagome, Rin will escort you to the viewing area. You're little friends Eri and Yuri are waiting for you there."
"Thanks Miroku." All the girls chirped in unison. Rin pulled Kagome off the couch and towards the door. Sango closed the door after she pushed a protesting Miroku out. He headed off in the opposite direction the girls were headed.
Kagome could have found Eri and Yuri even without Rin's help. Her two friends were screaming their heads off in the viewing area. She joined them and instantly became hyperactive.
Kagome, Eri, and Yuri watched the first bands play to open for Shikon. She jumped and screamed with the other girls, but was more excited when she thought about hearing Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo play.
'I wonder if they are good. I haven't heard them talk about practicing. Is Inuyasha a good singer? I hope so, he is hot, and with a nice voice it would be perfect. Whoa, were did that come from? Oh shit, I do like him.' her face contorted into a look of surprise. She smiled and continued to jump with new enthusiasm.
Suddenly, Kagome stopped. Her eyes grew into large disks as she realized what tonight was.
"Oh shit, I was supposed to train tonight. Sensei Myoga is going to kill me. I have to go call him." she muttered to herself. Kagome took her cell phone out of her back pocket and quickly dialed his number. One ring....two rings.....three rings....
"Hello, this is Master Myoga of the Fukai Mori dojo. How may I assist you?" the man on the phone asked.
"Hey Sensei, its Kagome. I'm so sorry I didn't call you earlier. I can't come to classes tonight because I am at a concert with some friends. I promise I will come to training tomorrow though." she pleaded.
"Hmmmm, ooookkkaayy, but be careful. You know it’s the full moon and demons are out more than normal. Don't hesitate to use your powers to purify their asses if needed." Master Myoga warned.

"Master Myoga, I will use anything to protect myself. What's ironic right now is that I am in the company of Taisho’s sons Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Do you remember Taisho? He helped us out that time with the panther tribe, and he treated me like a daughter. Anyways, Inuyasha will probably protect me if I need help. Another thing that is funny is they think I'm some regular ningen girl who has no clue about demons and shit. Neither of them knows who I am, or what I do."

"Inuyasha actually believed that I was afraid of motorcycles. Not only that, he thinks I CAN'T kick his ass. Oh one of these days he will get it. But until then, I have to pretend to be a goody-goody and not dress like I normally do. Oh and thanks. Your scent concealment spell worked perfectly."
Myoga at this point was laughing hard.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, he thinks you, the great miko-slash-slayer of evil demons Yomichi, is afraid of motorcycles. How many do you own now, thirteen?"
Kagome sighed, looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping and answered,” I own twenty-six, Myoga. Damn, you've decided now to lose your memory, huh?"
"Hey, watch it or tomorrow I will make you run laps. So....what's this about Inuyasha? Isn't he a famous musician?"
"YAAAh, now ya get it. We are at THEIR concert. Oh, speaking of them, you have to come by the house tomorrow. I am moving into the Shikon band's mansion, so I need you to help me put spells on my room and on the grounds. I also need you to help me remove the spells on my apartment too."
"Kagome, you know you can put and remove those spells. You are far more powerful than I am." Myoga said.
"Okay, I kinda wanted the company and I wanted to introduce you to my new friends. Inuyasha, well you already know about him, Sango is a demon slayer, Miroku is a monk, and Shippo is a kitsune demon. They are an odd collection of friends, but I want to know WHY they are together. Anyways, I gotta go. Shikon is about to play, and Eri is about to have a hernia if I don't get off the phone. Luv ya, sensei. Byes."
"Okay, Kagome, I'll ride with you after practice tomorrow. Goodbye."

"Hey Kags, who were you talking to?" Yuri asked.
"Oh, I was just talking to my uncle Myoga," Kagome lied.
She didn't even tell her best friends about her miko and slayer training. No one, save her sensei and her grandfather, knew about her training. She would be in danger if anyone knew.
"Okay, well, Shikon is about to go on. Let's watch them from the side of the stage." Eri said.
The three girls walked over to the side of the stage and looked out. The entire stadium was filled with Shikon fans! All the girls thought in unison, 'I'm glad we got backstage. The stadium is packed!'
Suddenly, a voice came over the speakers.
"HEY EVERYBODY ARE YOU READY FOR SHIKON!?" The crowd roared in response to the disembodied voice. Kagome, Eri, and Yuri began screaming with the fans when Shikon was announced.
Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo came out to go onstage. Kagome spotted the group coming towards her and her friends. She came up to the group and hugged each member, not before slapping Miroku.
"Good luck guys. I bet you will be great!" Finally she came to Inuyasha. Kagome wrapped her arms around the silver haired rock star and wished him luck. Inuyasha put his index finger under her chin to lift her head. He gave her a peck on the lips.
"Now, I will have good luck." he said, giving her his trademark smirk. Kagome blushed and pulled away. "Uhh, ok-kay, yeah, well, I'll w-watch from o-over here." She walked away, still blushing. Miroku nudged Inuyasha with his elbow and grinned a perverted grin. Sango rolled her eyes and Shippo was completely oblivious.
'How does he do that? I'm supposed to be in control of my emotions, not let them control me. Maybe...no, it's not possible. Well, maybe it is, maybe he is the one. What if he is the one in the legend? Tomorrow, I have to talk to sensei and tell him.' Kagome thought as she walked back to Eri and Yuri.
Inuyasha found Sesshoumaru as they headed to the rafters where they would begin. The announcer came on again to welcome the band. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo walked onstage and took their places with their instruments. The crowd became unsettled when Inuyasha didn't walk onstage with the rest of the band. Suddenly, his voice came over the speakers.
"What's up Shikon fans? Our first song is one of my personal favorites. My dear brother Sesshoumaru is going to help me out with it. How bout' we get a little DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS!"
The fans started screaming when the band started playing and a spotlight went up to Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, who were up in the rafters high above the stage. Suddenly, Inuyasha jumped down straight to the stage. Sesshoumaru, however, was engulfed in light and mist. When it cleared, there was a huge dog in his place. The dog jumped down onto the stage and landed with Inuyasha. Both were surrounded by light, and then both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru stepped from it with microphones in hand. Then, they began to sing.

The song was ended with a huge explosion and fire from the pyrotechnics shot from the front of the stage. The crowd roared when Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru finished singing. Kagome was screaming her head off because they were so awesome. She loved Inuyasha's voice.
'Wow, he is a great singer. Plus, that was just a fitting song. Haha. Well, I wish one day he would sing something for me. Okay, I think I am on crack or something. Where is this coming from. Maybe he is the one. Well, I'm glad I'm moving in with him. I can find out if he truly is.' she thought.
Inuyasha raised his microphone and began to speak, "Let's hear it for my brother, Sesshoumaru!" He stretched his hand in gesture to his sibling. Sesshy took his bows and left the stage and a cheering, screaming crowd in his wake.
The silver-haired rock star turned back to the fans and spoke again, "Now, this song is for the bitch I used to date. Kikyo, listen well." With that Sango, Miroku, now playing bass, Shippo, and Inuyasha, who was playing lead guitar, began the song.

By the time Inuyasha was finished singing, tears were streaming down Kagome's face. She could feel the pain and sadness in his song. Suddenly, a surge of anger went through her body. Kagome spotted that bitch Kikyo close to the stage. 'If she does anything, I will blow my cover and kick her ass. I don't care if Inuyasha finds out about me. He didn't deserve what happened to him. I'm going to try and open his heart back up.'
Inuyasha bowed, then began to speak to his fans," Hey everybody, did ya like that? -Crowd roared- Oh, so you did. Well, I would like you to welcome my newest friend. Some here might know her, some might not. Kagome, will you come out onstage? Everyone, please welcome Kagome Higurashi!"
Kagome was in shock. Eri and Yuri pushed her towards the stage entrance. She was still numb as she walked onstage. She finally snapped out of her trance when the crowd roared to welcome her. Kagome's face grew hot and a blush rose to her face. She walked straight up to Inuyasha, who was smirking as wide as he possibly could. He was ENJOYING this. Oh, would she get him back.
"Hey Inuyasha, hey everybody!" she said into the microphone, "Oh, Inuyasha, I forgot to tell you, your gyno called during the concert. He said you can come in for your pap smear tomorrow morning."
Kagome ran from the stage, but blew him a kiss before she disappeared behind the stage. She left the crowd roaring with laughter and a flustered rock star in her stead. Once she was backstage with Eri and Yuri, Kagome started laughing. She was cracking up so hard she fell over. Eri and Yuri were laughing just as hard. Rin and Sesshoumaru ran over to the three girls and pulled Kagome up. Rin hugged her and laughed with her. Sesshoumaru kept his stone-like air, but he had amusement in his eyes and his mouth hinted a smile. Kagome saw this and said,
"Fluffy, you know that's funny. Laugh, come on we won't tell anyone."
His expression went cold in one second flat. Sesshoumaru glared first at Kagome, then at Rin.
"Rin, why did you tell her that? No one, with the exception of you, calls me Fluffy."
Rin walked over to him and smiled. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his lips. "Oh Fluffy, I just told her because she is one of my new best friends. You can understand that."
He sighed and looked at Kagome. "Okay, I guess its fine, just don't call me Fluffy. Understand that miko."
Kagome's face went into shock. Her eyes widened and she began to panic. Sesshoumaru sensed her fright and tried to reassure her.
"Kagome, its okay, chill. I always knew you were a miko. I could sense through the concealment spell, but barely. Inuyasha has no idea. I will keep your secret, but I want information from you. I want to know who you REALLY are. I promise, if you do tell me, I will protect you. Rin will too. Not only will she understand and keep your secret, she is a weapon's master. Now, please come with me and explain."
"Okay, I will tell you and Rin, but you have to keep your promise to watch out for me." she replied.
Sesshoumaru led Kagome and a clueless Rin to his dressing room. He put a soundproof spell on the room and ushered them in. Kagome and Rin went inside and sat down on the couch. Sesshy closed the door and locked it. He turned around and said one word, "Explain."
Kagome took a deep breath and began to speak.” Well, as you have sensed, I am a miko. I don't know how strong I truly am, but I do know I'm alot stronger than all the miko's I've met before. But, I am more than that. I am a martial arts master because I am someone you might have heard of. I am not only Kagome Higurashi. I am also Yomichi, the slayer."
"The demon slayer?" Rin asked.
"No, not just demons. Evil demons. I refuse to slay demons just because of what they are. Take Sesshoumaru here, or Shippo, even Inuyasha, even if he is only half. I have been searching for one specific demon. I figure you could probably help me with him, Sesshy. I am looking for the hanyou Naraku."
"Why are you searching for him? What has he done now?" Sesshoumaru asked.
Kagome's eyes watered up and a tear slipped down her cheek. She began to cry as she answered, "Naraku killed my family. First he killed my father. Then, right in front of my eyes, he killed my mother and younger brother, Souta. From then on I trained with my sensei to kill Naraku and reclaim my family's honor. I lived with my grandmother and my grandfather until I was old enough to move out. I got an apartment in California and continued my miko and martial arts training. Then, one night, I came home to find my apartment in ruins. A bomb had been planted by one of Naraku's cronies. So, I moved here to New Orleans. Sensei Myoga came with me and bought a dojo, which is also his home. He will be coming by the mansion tomorrow to put spells on the property. Actually, I just want him to meet everybody. Sensei is like a father to me. But, anyways, I moved here about a week ago, and yesterday I met Inuyasha. Can I tell you two something?"
Both nodded their heads yes and Kagome continued. "Well, I am going to tell you about a legend. It was passed down from generation to generation in my family. The legend tells of a miko, whose power surpassed even the mighty Midoriko. Something she loved above all else would be destroyed by a powerful hanyou, whose human body was devoured by demons. She would then meet another powerful hanyou, who would love and protect her. The hanyou would also kill the evil that tries to destroy the miko. The miko, of course, applies to me. Sensei Myoga is a flea demon that stays under a spell that turns him human. He knew Midoriko, about 700 years ago, and he claims I am more powerful than she was. I know it applies to me because Naraku, the evil hanyou, killed my family, which I cherished above all else. But, I have yet to find the hanyou who will protect me. But..."
She paused, looking at them with a slight blush on her face. Sesshy ushered her to continue. Kagome took a deep breath, and began to speak. "Well, I believe, it is a possibility Inuyasha might be the hanyou. He is the only guy I have ever had even remote feelings about. Whenever I am around him, I feel truly protected. I believe he could be the hanyou from the legend. Please don't think I am weird or anything."
When Kagome was telling of the legend, Sesshy was deep in thought. ‘The legend she tells of is the same as our family’s legend. So, we have finally found the miko who Inuyasha will protect with father’s fang. I will do my part to put an end to Naraku.’
Kagome began a fresh stream of silent tears as she lowered her head. Rin scooted over next to Kagome and held her. Then, she began to cry, too. Rin hated it that Kagome's entire family had been killed by that bastard. Sesshy showed no emotion, as usual, but his eyes showed kindness, understanding, and compassion for her. He reached over and lifted Kagome's head. Sesshy spoke to her in a voice full of a kindness he didn't even know he had.
"Kagome, I think you are right. Inuyasha has not known you long, but he has changed. I see it in him even now. He cares for you, and he wants to protect you. Also, Inuyasha would kill Naraku if he knew. You moving in with the band will be good, for both of you. Also, Rin and I will help you kill Naraku, too. I give you my word as not only as a friend, but as the Taiyoukai of the Western Lands. But, I want you to tell Inuyasha that you are a miko. That is all I ask of you. He has a right to know."
Kagome's tears stopped and she smiled. She hugged Rin, then Sesshy. "Thank you so much you too. It feels nice to have someone to talk to and who also understands. I really appreciate it. And I will tell Inuyasha tomorrow when Sensei comes over to the mansion with me. Well...we better get back to the concert. My friends will be worried about me."
"Yes, I want to see if Inuyasha will do anything about your little joke from earlier. By the way, that was a terrific idea, if I do say so myself." Sesshy mused.
"Thanks. He was enjoying embarrassing me too much, so I decided to put him in his place." she answered.
"It’s about time. If someone didn't, I would have, and it would not be pretty." Sesshy said.
"Oh really, I think I can take care of that. Do you have any rosaries around here?" Kagome asked.
"I do! It’s totally awesome. It’s got purple beads and fangs." Rin piped, hyper as usual.
"Get it. I will put a charm on it to contain him with one word. What word should I use? I will be the only one who can control him."
"What do you say to a dog if you want to make him obey?" Sesshy questioned coyly.
"SIT!" both girls yelled. Rin then reached into her handbag and pulled out the rosary. Kagome quickly grabbed it and began chanting the spell. The rosary began to glow bright blue as the spell was put into place. It stopped glowing after Kagome finished chanting.
"There, now the spell is put into place. When I put this around Inuyasha's neck, he will be under my control with the word Sit." she said confidently. Sesshy began to chuckle and Rin giggled like a schoolgirl on crack. The three exited the room in search of InuYasha to finish Kagome's prank.
While the three were talking, Shikon played through the rest of the concert. Then, once they left the stage, the group decided to find their newest friend.
Inuyasha was mad. Okay, he wasn’t mad, he was…annoyed. And confused. How did Kagome know that he was enjoying embarrassing her?
‘Can she sense my emotions, like a miko or demon? No, she isn’t a demon; demons would have a certain scent that couldn’t be hidden. Her scent seems to be missing something. Kagome must be hiding it, which in turn would mean she is a miko. Or…maybe I’m just hoping she is. But, I seem to be drawn to her like magnet. I just hope she is the one from the legend. I sure wouldn’t mind that one bit. Well, I’m glad she is moving in with us. Ha, I just want to see her face when she finds out where she will be sleeping.’ –Evil laugh-
Kagome and Sesshy sensed Inuyasha coming towards them and prepared for their joke. When he rounded the corner, Sesshy jumped him and held him down while Kagome put the necklace around his neck. Inuyasha didn’t make it easy for them, though. He fought tooth and nail to get away.
“Get the fuck off me!” he yelled as loud as humanly, or hanyouly, possible. Kagome slipped the necklace around his neck and finished the spell to put it into place. The rosary began to glow and Kagome yelled, “Sit!”
Inuyasha dropped to the ground and was held for a few minutes before the spell wore off. He stood up and glared from Sesshy to Kagome and back. Sesshy’s face was its normal stoic look, with a hint of humor in his eyes. Kagome, however, was wearing a smirk identical to Inuyasha’s famous one.
“What the hell did you do that for? What is this?” he demanded.
“Consider this payback for earlier. Now, whenever I say the word, you will fall to the ground. I and only I can control you. When I deem you worthy, I will take the necklace off. Until then, I suggest you behave yourself.” Kagome grinned a wide grin and started skipping off towards her friends. Inuyasha growled and tried to follow her, but Sesshy held him back.
“I have to talk to you.” He said as he motioned for Inuyasha to follow him. Inuyasha shrugged and followed his older brother into his dressing room. Sesshy closed the door and Inuyasha immediately began to speak.
“Sesshoumaru, what the hell is this about?” he demanded.
“Calm yourself little brother. I merely wish to speak to you about the legend. Have you found the miko yet?” Sesshy asked, knowing that Kagome was the miko.
“I think I might have, but I don’t know if she is one or not. That girl that we picked up tonight, Kagome, I think might be the miko. I spent all day yesterday with her, and I felt something I have never felt before, even when I was with Kikyo. I think Kagome might be the one. Do you think I should take her to Dad’s and have her try out the sword?”
“Yes” was Sesshy’s reply. The brothers looked at each other with understanding, and immediately left the room. They rounded up the rest of the group, plus Kagome’s friends, and took everybody home. When they drove up to Kagome’s apartment complex, Inuyasha got out and walked her upstairs. When they reached her room, Kagome turned around to face the hanyou.
“Thank you for walking me to my room. It was very sweet of you.” She began to blush as she talked. Inuyasha lifted her head and smirked.
“Me? Nice... never.” With that, he leaned down to kiss her. He was expecting to just give her a quick kiss, but she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in. He licked her lips, begging entrance, which she granted without hesitation. Inuyasha’s tongue searched the cavern of Kagome’s mouth, tasting her.
‘She tastes like cloves and honey. I like the way she tastes. If only this could last forever.’ He thought.
Her tongue was equally entranced by his mouth as well. Kagome ran her tongue up and down his fangs and shivered.
‘Damn, the fangs are totally turning me on. I wish this could last forever.’
With hesitation, the two broke apart, gasping for air. Inuyasha looked at Kagome, who was flushed with excitement and embarrassment.
‘I wonder if she would look this good if we…. No don’t think about that, no, NO! Damn, too late. I need a good, cold shower.’
She turned and saw him smiling at her, so she gave him her award-winning smile. Inuyasha leaned over to her ear and asked,
“Kagome, will you be my girlfriend?”
Kagome looked at him in bewilderment, but nodded her head nonetheless. She smiled and hugged him.
“Sure Inuyasha. So, what are we going to do after I move in tomorrow?” she asked.
“We are going to visit my parents. I want you to try something.” He answered.
“Okay” was all she said. Kagome opened the door to her apartment and stood in the doorway. She turned around to Inuyasha one more time and gave him a kiss on the lips. Then, just as quickly, she turned around and closed the door. Inuyasha stood there frozen, unsure of what just happened. When it finally registered with him, he smirked and went down to the awaiting limo.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I haven’t updated in a while, but I totally smashed my modem on my laptop, so I can’t get my chapters online until I do enough chores to get my parents to buy another . But, I promise, I will finish the story if it takes me the rest of my life!!!
Next chapter: Kagome moves in, Kagome tells Inuyasha who she is, and Inuyasha takes her to meet his dad and mom.
