Wins and losses

Wins and losses

 

'Nobody touches my kit!'

Now, it was on. Kogmae fought with a new found energy, as if seeing Shippo hurt made something just snap inside her. It also formed a sense of unity between the friends, all had different lives, different stories, but one thing they all had in common...to find, and kill Naruku.

Now they had found him, only one thing left to do.

 

Kiyiko and Naruku were now defending themselves agenst the group who had formed a semi circle around them, they were losing. Just then Kiyiko shouted something to Naruku and he immdiately thrust himself in front of her. Songo, who was fighting closest to Kiyiko got a sharp blow from Naruku right into her back. She fell to the earth with nothing more than an "oh" and stayed there for the rest of the fight. Miroku saw the whole thing, and he to had felt the burst of new found energy.

 

Inuyasha was now battling head on with Naruku and seemed to be winning, until Kiyiko pulled a stunt that still haunts him to this day. She wrapped her arms around Naruku, who was near defeat, and mumbled some words he could not understand. The whole place began to shake, leaves fell from trees and the tiny form of Shippo bounced around uncontrollabley. The ground under Kiyiko and Narouku was now sinking into the depths of the earth--into hell.

 

Kogmae now knew what she must do, she found her last arrow, and put it in place. She summoned all her miko powers and so much so that her arua began to increase and she began to glow. She channeled all her energy into this last shot 'Please, hit the mark, for Shippo, Songo, and all of the others who have been hurt because of Naruku' she thought. She pulled back the arrow, hoping with everything she was, that this arrow would not miss. It didn't.

 

The arrow struck Naruku dead in the heart and as he slumped over, Kiyiko's cursees were so loud that birds in nearby trees flew away in fear. "Just because I decided to take Naruku to hell dosn't mean I won't be back for you Inuyasha!!" Her curses died out as she finally decended fully into the ground, and the portal sealed itself once again.

 

It was over, finaly over.

 

 

A/N-- Well ch 2 is over-- whew * wipes sweat drops off forehead*
