Inuyasha shot bolt upright on his tree limb. It had been years sience Kagome died (to a demon mere months) but he still had the same dream. He would be standing in a field, not just any field, but her field. The field where they fought Naruku,and where she sustained that fatal wound.

She would appear out of the thick forest, and he would run to her,as fast as he could he run. Sadly, she was always one step away from his grasp.

 

"Inuyasha" her voice like a wisper from the wind. " Inuyasha, go on, love and be loved"

 

"What are you talking about Kagome?" He never understood, his eyes brimming with tears. "I love you and I always will!"

 

" No Inuyasha, there will be a time where another will capture yor heart, go to her and never look back"

 

" NO! I will always love YOU Kagome!!" the shining tears started to make a path down his face.

 

" I will come back for you, but for now I am gone" her form was starting to fade and she stood still. " I am dead, am I want you to be happy, there will be another, she will heal you as I did."

 

"No Kagome, no." he was sobbing now,and had finaly caught to the form of his lost love. He drew his arms softly around her waste and cried, until she gently faded away.

"Feh" he grumbled, and hopped down from his pearch. He was alone once again, the monk and Sango became mates and moved away to a far off village. But the Kit--ohh the kit. Soon after he learned of Kagome's death, he to died. Many of the villigers claimed it was because of a broken heart.

So that left himself, and his memories.

 

'Hmmmmm,' he thought. 'I wonder whats' for breakfast today' a smerk streched across his face as he thought of delicious rabbit.

Suddenly, a familiar smell hit his nose. Blood. A lot of blood. Demon blood. "Grrrrr" he growled loudly,demon wolf blood.
