InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Bad Influences ❯ Bad Influence # Twenty Five: Interrupting ( Chapter 25 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
MAN! I can't believe how long it's been. I had to force myself to sit here and think up a chapter because I've been on writers block for the past few months. I had no idea where I was going to take this next. Sorry for the long wait. Anyway, I'm trying to get things moving and back up so I hope you enjoy this chapter no matter how crappy it is. This is the result of two months of writers block. Sorry! -_-;
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha nor will I take credit for Romiko Takahashi's genius.
Bad Influence # Twenty-Five: Interrupting
Miroku clicked off the television feeling his patience almost fall apart. Sighing, he tried to control his annoyance. Satoshi didn't say anything from where he sat at the kitchen table memorizing polyatomic ions for chemistry. Whenever there was bad news to be heard, Satoshi always immersed himself in studies so that he wouldn't have to deal with it. He was the complete opposite of Miroku, who felt that it was better to know the unfortunate current events rather then ignoring any news that wasn't good.
“I'm glad you finally turned off that crap.” Satoshi said without looking at Miroku. He was rubbing the eraser against his mistake so hard that it was a wonder the paper didn't rip.
“Are you trying to tear your homework in two?” Miroku raised his eyebrows.
Satoshi gave him a look. “No, I'm just using it as sandpaper to smooth out my eraser.”
“Well that's good, I was almost worried that you were irritated by the news I was watching.” Miroku snapped.
Satoshi growled. Out of the four of them, Satoshi had the most control over his temper. He was never one to burst out in angry ranting, so when something did make him frustrated, it was because it was either something terribly unjust or something that hurt him personally. From Miroku's perspective, he knew that the recent string of gang violence was hitting both of the anger nerves in his best friend.
“Here's a question for you, Miroku, if you knew that the bullshit in town was pissing me off why did you bother watching the news when I was here?”
“Because I think it's better to know the situation instead of playing the `ignorance is bliss' card and blocking it out completely.” Miroku answered calmly.
“Well I'd rather not pay attention to something that's going to set me off.” Satoshi returned his attention to his homework.
Miroku rose from the couch and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water. Though summer was coming to an end, it was still very dry in the city. Even though the heat was smoldering and they didn't have enough money in their budget to pay for air conditioning, Miroku was still dreading the end of summer. “Because then it will be September.” He muttered.
Satoshi sat up straight. “What was that?”
“Just thinking.” Miroku tried ending the conversation before it started by drinking his water, but Satoshi persisted.
“You said something about September.”
“I thought you didn't want to talk about it?”
“If you have something to say, say it.” Satoshi watched as his roommate make his way across the kitchen before sitting down on the table across from him.
“I was wondering if it bothers you that the fifteenth is coming up and there have been some bad vibes in the city lately.” Miroku set his glass down, waiting for Satoshi's reaction.
“No shit it bothers me.” Satoshi sighed, leaning back in his chair and running his hands over his forehead and scalp. “I'm just glad that Inuyasha is out of town. He'd be in one of his moods if he were here. I guess it's a good thing Maki isn't here either. Remember what happened the last time this whole crap started?”
Miroku remembered all too well. Inuyasha fought with his father more often those days and Maki hardly smiled. “I have to agree with Inuyasha though.” Miroku began. “What are the chances?”
Satoshi rose from his seat. “` What are the chances?' Like I haven't heard that before.”
“You sound like Arisa.”
“That's because she's right. And I don't like taking risks.” Satoshi sat back down with a huff. “I have a lot of equations to memorize.” He said as an obvious dismissal for the argument. Miroku didn't have the will in him to continue. He just hoped that the violence in town stopped before Inuyasha came back from overseas.
“Can't you let me win at least once?” Kagome pouted at Souta who had just beaten her for the sixth time. She stared at the television screen where Souta's videogame character was still doing a victory dance. Maybe she should make him battle Maki in fighting games, because it was obvious he wasn't very good at helping her practice if she couldn't beat him once.
“At least you can go outside.” Souta whined. “I have nothing better to do besides own you in videogames and make up homework.” He scratched at his casts with his uninjured arm. “I can't wait till I get these off. I want to make sure I still have my game. Will you play soccer with to make sure I haven't lost it?”
Kagome grinned. “Now that is something that I can win at.”
“Is that revenge?”
“Maybe, but you're wrong about one thing. Now that my summer classes are over, I only have one week to finish all my summer homework before school starts, which means I won't get to go outdoors except to jog every morning.”
“That's what you get for procrastinating.” Souta said as he picked up the controller and began playing the game again. Returning her attention to the television screen, Kagome said, “If you win, I'll go do my homework and I won't go out the whole day.” In the next five minutes, Kagome has lost another three rounds.
Smirking, Souta turned to his sister and said, “I want all that math homework finished by tonight.”
“You're saying that knowing full well it's impossible right?” Kagome raised a brow. Even with Inuyasha's notes upstairs in her desk drawer, she'd still spend a few hours with calculus. In fact, she had no idea how she had done so well in her summer preparatory classes when it took her five minutes just to solve one problem. It would be a miracle if she could pass the math portion of her college entrance exam, assuming that she passed high school math to get there.
“I know that look!” Souta starred at her without blinking. “That the `I'm so bad at math and I can't believe I do so well' look. You always come home with a hundred percent on every test and you look like your going to barf whenever you have to do math homework.”
Kagome glared. “Oh you have it easy. You don't have to do trigonometry or calculus or worry about what will be on the entrance exams.”
“Excuses, excuses. Go do your homework.”
Deciding it was best to go upstairs and work till she had a headache before she smacked her brother, Kagome stood with a sigh. If only she could be as lazy as her boyfriend and completely ignore work. Unfortunately it wasn't in her nature. Thus when Kagome sat down to do her homework shortly after Souta had shooed her to her room, it wasn't until seven at night that she finished her math. Wonderful, Kagome smiled. At least this time she had finished in five hours without having to pull an all-nighter.
Stretching, Kagome wondered if the last week of summer would pass by as slowly as the rest of the season. This sluggishness was not her style. She loved getting things done as quickly as possible. In fact, it was hard to believe that she had put off doing her summer homework till a few days ago. Maybe it was the fact that she had been distracted during her preparatory classes.
With all the homework from prep classes and spending time with Sango and Haruhi, all the while avoiding going out at night, her summer homework had been the last thing on her mind. Though, Kagome thought, maybe the biggest distraction was listening to the news every night for the past few weeks.
According to the local reporters, it didn't seem like the fight against the gang violence was improving. Haruhi would scowl whenever she had to speak of the gangs in town, and Sango insisted that the three of them walk home together each night. At least when school started, she hoped, there would be less time to think about this depressing event.
Kagome sighed and flopped on her bed the same moment her phone rang. Growling, she picked up the receiver and lazily said, “Hello?”
“Why do you always sound so dreary when I call?”
“Because you're the one calling.”
“What? You don't want me to call then?”
“I'd rather talk to you face to face then over the phone, Inuyasha.” Kagome buried her face in her pillow.
“Are you feeling okay? You sound more tired then usual.”
“Blame it on summer homework. This is supposed to be vacation.”
“Do mine ears deceive me? Kagome, Ms. A student, is complaining about homework? Weren't you the one that took on extra classes over the summer?”
“Oh shut up. My summer classes ended and I barely finished my math. If you're going to tease me, can you at least be here to do it so I can punch you?” Kagome smiled into the phone. A week was too long to wait for him to come back.
“What if I said that I was back already? Hypothetically speaking, what would you do if I suddenly appeared at your window?”
“I think I'd scream. With all the gang violence that's been going on, I wouldn't be surprised if I had a stalker.”
“Don't say stuff like that, you'll make me worry! I can't be there all the time to beat the shit out of someone that makes a pass at you.”
“You know, I'm a big girl, Inuyasha. I think I can protect myself.”
“Yeah, well I'm a stubborn guy. I need to punch people's faces in to appease my ego.”
“Funny.”
“But seriously, if I suddenly appeared by your window, what would you do?”
“I don't know. Throw down my gorgeous hair and let you up my tower?”
“Well then Repunzel, you'd better get ready because I'm climbing up that tower right now.”
Kagome sat up on her bed. “What?” She yelled into the phone before the other line hung up. A second later there was tapping on her window and Kagome's jaw dropped when she saw Inuyasha waving at her from the other side of the glass.
“What are you DOING here?” She asked when she opened the window.
“I was expecting a hug or a kiss, but I guess I'll settle for anything after almost two months without you.” Inuyasha said as he jumped into her room.
“When did you get here?” Kagome asked again, closing her window behind him.
“I told my old man that if I have to stay in the same room with my brother for another week, I'll go out of my mind. I just landed a few hours ago. Jet lag is killing me!” He dusted himself off and spread his arms wide, expecting Kagome to run forward.
“Are you sure it's okay to be out at night?” Kagome asked him. “With all the stuff in the news…”
Inuyasha made a face. “You sound like my dad's lawyer. I'm fine, so what's the big deal. Can I get my hug now?”
“Always so laid back.” Kagome sighed when she reached him.
“And you're still a nag.” Inuyasha said when he put his chin on her head.
A moment later Kagome pulled back with reality dawning on her. “Oh my god! My Folks will freak if they catch you in here! Trust me, the news has even them nervous!”
Inuyasha sighed, “Then I'd better go knock on the front door and come in the boring way.” With that he passed Kagome and jumped out of her window. Squealing she ran to the sill and looked down into the yard to see that Inuyasha was already gone. A moment later the doorbell was heard and she ran down the stairs just in time to see Mama reach the door. Gulping, Kagome hoped it wasn't too late for a visit and then let out a breath when she remembered it was only seven o' clock.
When Mama opened the door, Inuyasha made a quick move to look like he'd been straightening himself on the other side. Still a good lair, Kagome thought.
“Oh my! You're back, Inuyasha.” Said Mama.
“Hi, Mrs. Higurashi.” Inuyasha said nervously. “Is Kagome home?”
“Yes, one moment.” Mama turned and saw Kagome already on the stairs. “That was quick.” She raised her brows.
“Hey Kagome.” Inuyasha winked at her from the door.
“Why didn't you tell me you were back?” Kagome stuttered.
“I'll leave you two be.” Mrs. Higurashi said before turning her heals to walk into the kitchen.
“Now I'm legally in your house. Do I get a present?” Inuyasha winked at her.
Before Kagome could answer, Mrs. Higurashi poked her head out from the kitchen and said, “Inuyasha, we haven't sat down for dinner yet. Would you like anything?”
Inuyasha scratched the back of his head. “Uh, no that's okay. I don't want to impo-”
“Don't be silly. What kind of host would I be if I didn't feed you? Kagome, don't let him talk his way out of it.” As her mother went back into the kitchen, Kagome wrinkled her nose and said, “Why do you even bother pretending when you're obviously hungry?”
“How did you know I was hungry?”
“Because you're always hungry.”
“That's not true.” Inuyasha's face reminded Kagome of a stubborn eight year old who hated to agree to another person being right. Sensing that he was going to retaliate with some witty remark that would most likely make them argue, she quickly changed the subject.
“Why do you act like such an angel when my mom is around?” Kagome asked.
Inuyasha gave her a glare out of the corner of his eye. “Are you implying that I'm normally a devil?”
“No.” Kagome rolled her eyes. “I mean, whenever my mom is around you act like such a…I don't know, shy guy.”
“That's because your mom makes me shy.”
Kagome smirked. “You're not attracted to older women are you?”
“What the fuck?” Inuyasha gaped at her. “No!”
“Okay, so why does my mom make you shy?”
When Inuyasha blushed, Kagome felt as though the ground was suddenly moving and forced herself not to fall on the floor. “You ARE attracted to older women!”
Her assumption made Inuyasha even redder. As Kagome crossed her arms and glared at him, preparing to launch into a lecture or scold him, he hastened to explain. “NO! That's not the reason! I just don't know how to act around her that's all!”
“What do you mean?” Kagome narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously.
Inuyasha clenched his teeth in a frown. “This is so embarrassing.”
“Well, I'm waiting. What's the reason?”
He passed Kagome and sat down on the stairs. “I haven't had a mom in twelve years. I, uh, I don't really know how to behave around parents. My old man is hardly ever around and my mom died when I was six. Your mom is so…I don't know, she's so much like a genuine parent that I can't help but feel nervous around her.”
“Oh.” Kagome placed her arms at her sides, feeling silly for accusing him. “But didn't Satoshi, Maki or Marko have parents? Did they make you nervous too?”
Inuyasha shook his head. “Satoshi was adopted. His foster family was so, how should I put this, cool and supporting. They were more like pals then parents. Maki was raised by her grandparents because her mom and dad died in a car accident when she as three so in a way, her folks were never really authority figures, just benevolent old people. And Miroku was raised by his uncle after his father died.” Inuyasha let out a small laugh. “Guess we all came from messed up families.”
“Is that why you hate your dad? Because of neglect?” Kagome asked, but when Inuyasha gave her an unsure look, as if he couldn't decide whether to tell her or not, she wished she hadn't said a word.
“You know what, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.” She felt that his father was too much of a sore subject, especially after he admitted that he didn't know how to act around actual parents. “Sorry.”
“No, it's okay.” Inuyasha sighed. Before Kagome could get the chance to try and comfort him, she switched the subject and asked, “What was your old man like? You must have loved the guy so much. You sure seemed down on yourself after finals.”
A small pang rang in Kagome's chest when she thought about her father. The day before school started she would have to visit her father's grave again. It was now eight months. It was sad to think about memories of him when she remembered that she couldn't make new memories of him anymore, but the wound of his death was healing. Even though it was slow, it was getting better.
“Maybe I shouldn't have asked.” Inuyasha said when Kagome didn't answer his question.
“No,” Kagome shook her head, sitting next to him on the stairs, “it's okay. I'm getting over it.”
She paused. “My Dad was hilarious. All though he was also in track when he was my age, when he wasn't running he was the biggest klutz. My mom never let him in the kitchen because he would always break a plate. He taught me how to run and he taught Souta how to play soccer. He would also argue with Grandpa about politics all the time. I'd hear them yelling at each other from my room. He was always there to help me study. He always gave me a cookie before bed when I was little.”
“Sounds a lot better then my old man.” Inuyasha said under his breath.
“That bad huh?”
“Yup.”
They sat there on the stairs in an awkward silence for a while. Thankfully, Mrs. Higurashi called them to the dining room for dinner shortly afterward, saving Kagome the embarrassment of trying to come up with a new conversation topic. As they entered the kitchen, Grandpa raised a brow at Inuyasha but didn't say anything. Souta on the other hand let out a wail.
“Inuyasha! I haven't seen you in ages!” He said, reaching for a crutch to move from his seat.
“You don't have to get up kid.” Inuyasha said as he sad down next to him. “How's the leg?”
“Great, thanks to you. Check it out!” He lifted his leg to show the cast and how it was covered in signatures. “Kagome promised to play soccer with me when I get it removed. Will you join us? I could use someone who actually knows how to play soccer.”
“Excuse me?” Kagome glared at him as she took her seat across the table. “You're lucky I promised, otherwise I'd have changed my mind at that remark.”
“Face it Kagome, you may be good at running but we both know track is your sport while soccer is mine.”
“You better remember that when the score is fifty to none.” Kagome said.
“Getting a little competitive aren't you. How about you and me team up to take on your sister.” Inuyasha patted Souta on the back.
“That would be AWESOME! I've been wanting to kick her butt in sports for ages.”
“I thought my boyfriend would be on my side?” Kagome raised a brow as she filled a bowl with vegetable soup.
Inuyasha shrugged, thanking Mrs. Higurashi for the meal and blushing when she said not to worry about it. Dinner was uneventful. Inuyasha and Souta spoke about soccer between courses while Mrs. Higurashi and Grandpa exchanged concerns about the news. Things were going fine until Mrs. Higurashi asked Inuyasha how far his house was.
“It's about seven miles from here. I should be there in ten minutes if I drive. It's not that far.” He answered while pouring himself a glass of water.
“What do you mean if you drive? Did you walk here?” Kagome questioned.
“Oh my, do you mean that you'd have to walk all the way home after dark.” Mrs. Higurashi said.
“It's fine. I can take the subway and be there in twenty minutes.”
“I see.” Said Mrs. Higurashi.
“Are you sure that's a good idea with all the terrible news?” Grandpa commented.
“I can take care of myself, I'm a big boy.” Inuyasha smiled.
After dinner, Mrs. Higurashi shooed Souta away from the kitchen so that his leg wouldn't cause them, or him, any trouble. Grandpa, following his nightly routine, walked straight into the living room to finish reading his paper. Before Inuyasha could sneak away with Kagome, Mrs. Higurashi placed a bowl of ice cream in front of him and he was too shy to refuse. So Kagome remained in the kitchen, helping her mother clear the table.
As Inuyasha finished his ice cream he rose to help dry the dishes when Mrs. Higurashi spoke again. “I'm a little worried about you walking home so late. Won't your family be a little worried that you're out at this time?”
“My father is on a business trip. I came back early so I wouldn't miss school.” Inuyasha said as he reached for a glass cup.
“So that means you'll be home alone?” Mrs. Higurashi asked in awe.
“It's okay.” Inuyasha blushed. “I'm used to it. I make sure to lock all my doors and everything.”
“But you'd still have to walk all the way there.” Kagome said under her breath.
“She's right Inuyasha dear. Perhaps you should spend the night here.”
Inuyasha almost dropped the glass he was holding. “No no no! I can't do that, it's too-”
“What kind of person would I be if I sent you home all alone when there are news of gang murders every night. Please, dear, I'd be much more at ease if you would stay here. I'm sure we can make room for you.” Mrs. Higurashi turned and walked out of the room before Inuyasha could refuse again.
Composing herself, Kagome put the rest of the dishes away and turned to Inuyasha. His face was flaming. “I really can go home you know.” He told her. “It's no big deal!”
Kagome fidgeted. “Actually, I kind of agree with Mom. I'm a little worried something might happen to you if you walk home alone this late.”
“What? It's only eight o' clock! If I leave now I'll be home before nine. I'm not some five year old that needs coddling.” He snapped.
“I know that dummy, but isn't it natural for me to worry about you? And it's still dark outside. You never know.”
“Yeah, but-”
“Please dear,” Mrs. Higurashi said as she appeared into the kitchen, making Inuyasha jump at her sudden appearance, “I'm afraid she's right. Won't you stay the night? It's no trouble at all.”
Inuyasha gulped, “But I can't impose like that.”
“Inuyasha, please say yes. Mom won't let you talk your way out of it anyway.” Kagome whispered behind him.
With a nervous look, he reluctantly agreed. Mrs. Higurashi beamed. “I'll get things ready for you.” She hurried away again.
“Ready?” Inuyasha repeated. “What could I possibly need besides pajamas?”
Kagome giggled. “You're the guest. That means your going to get royal treatment from my mom. Be ready for a bath, hot coco and three big pillows.”
“I don't want that! If there's any kind of royal treatment I want it's from you, not your mom.” Inuyasha sighed. “This is so embarrassing.”
“Having people worry and want to take care of you is embarrassing?” Kagome huffed.
Inuyasha turned to her and waved his arms. “No, not like that! I mean, spending the night here when you're folks are in. I don't want to bother anybody.”
“The only person you're bugging right now is me with all your modesty. We're just being nice. You know what, I don't want to argue about something silly like this!”
Before Inuyasha could counter her, Mama came back in holding a few towels and fresh pajamas. “Lucky I kept these. You're just his size. You're bath is ready.”
“What-wait a minute!” Inuyasha said as Kagome and her mother began pushing him out the kitchen and toward the stairs.
“Now go have a nice soak. I won't take no for an answer.” Mrs. Higurashi insisted.
“Okay, I'm going, I'm going!” Inuyasha said as he climbed the stairs. Kagome followed him, leading him to the upstairs bathroom.
“Have a nice bath!” Mrs. Higurashi called from the foot of the stairs.
“When are you going to stop sulking?” Kagome asked Inuyasha. After he'd finished bathing, he had wandered into Kagome's room she he wouldn't see her mother. He was embarrassed enough as it is. He hadn't had this king of maternal treatment in twelve years and he didn't know how to react to it. It threw him out of his comfort zone.
He sat on Kagome's bed with his legs crossed, staring at the pants of his pajamas. They were white with blue strips. He never wore pajamas. At home, he slept in his briefs. Pajamas made him sweat but he'd be damned if he were to go and tell Mrs. Higurashi he couldn't sleep in these.
“I still can't believe I'm doing this. It's almost impossible to refuse her.” He said under his breath.
“Oh come on.” Kagome rolled her eyes, rising from her seat at her desk to sit next to him on her bed. “What's so embarrassing about staying over?”
“What am I some school girl? I don't do slumber parties.”
“This isn't a slumber party.” Kagome crossed her arms. “You were so eager to stay before.”
“Really? When was that?” Inuyasha asked sarcastically.
“You don't remember? When we first made our deal, I asked you if you would like to stay the night instead to go home in a storm.”
“Oh that.”
“Yeah that. You didn't mind staying over then. What's the difference now?”
“The circumstances are different. For one, we were alone then. There's something really weird about staying over at you're girlfriend's place while her parents are in.”
Kagome poked him in the shoulder. “I think you're the one that's weird.”
Inuyasha sighed. “So much for spending time with you.”
“But you are spending time with me.”
“I can't do anything without worrying that your brother, Grandpa or mom will walk through the door the moment I do.”
Kagome laughed. “What the fuck is so funny?”
“You know,” she said while holding Inuyasha's arm, “you're kind of cute when you're being shy. So my folks really make you that nervous huh? We're no cannibals, Inuyasha. My mom's not going to chew you out or forbid you from ever seeing me again.”
“Yeah but she still makes me really uneasy. The last time I got comfortable in your house, your mom caught me saying dirty stuff about your bed. Speaking of which, I'm surprised you haven't yelled at me for sitting on it.”
Kagome put her head on his shoulder. “Guess I'm too giddy about seeing your shy side to care.”
“Seeing me nervous makes you happy?”
“That's no it. There's something really nice about knowing that you're not indifferent to everything. A lot of times, you have such a `whatever' attitude that it makes me wonder if you're ever bothered by anything.”
“I see.” Inuyasha smirked. “You're one of those girls that are attracted to weakness.”
Kagome pulled away and stared at him. “What? No that's not-”
“Admit it Kagome, you like guys that are vulnerable!”
When Kagome gave him a dull stare, he said, “Hah, I knew it!”
“I never said THAT!” She rushed to the defensive.
“Kagome,” Inuyasha began dramatically, “help me, I think you're mom thinks I'm a monster! What am I going to do!”
“Stop that!”
“Oh no, I can hear your Grandpa complaining about me from downstairs! He hates me!”
Getting angry, Kagome tried to pinch him, but he moved back before her hand could reach him. When he began to laugh at her reaction, her frustration grew and before Kagome knew what she was doing she'd tackled him down into her bed, landing on top of his chest.
“Man, do I miss making fun of you.” Inuyasha chuckled when Kagome rose up on her elbows to glare at him.
“You're never going to stop that are you?” She sighed.
“Nope. I told you, I get great results from teasing you.”
He didn't give her time to retort, cupping her chin and pulling her in for a kiss. Kagome forgot her anger, placing her hands on his cheeks. She felt him wrap his arms around her back. There was nothing but the content feeling of his lips against hers. Boy, she really had missed him.
“Ew! Get a room you two!” Said Souta, who had just opened the door to Kagome's room.
Kagome bolted from Inuyasha and reached for a pillow. “Souta you brat! Get out!”
He closed the door the moment her pillow was about to hit him in the face. Inuyasha sat up and growled. “You see Kagome, this is exactly what I meant about staying here!”
Kagome groaned. Just when she finally gets a moment with her boyfriend, her rotten luck brings her one epic interruption. She finally kisses him after two months and her brother has to walk in, embarrass her out of her wits, and give Inuyasha a point in his argument.
“This has been one terrible summer.” She sighed.
“Was it that bad without me? “ Inuyasha smirked as he came to a sit.
“It was boring. True, I did have some fun with Sango, but without you here, summer moved really slowly.”
“I could say the same thing. All I was thinking about in Hong Kong was you.”
Kagome blushed. “Really?”
Inuyasha clicked his teeth, pointing to his face. “Do I look like I'd lie about that?”
Kagome giggled. “No.” She said as he planted a kiss on his cheek. Inuyasha moved closer to finish where they left off and Kagome sucked in her breath to prepare but them Mrs. Higurashi called from downstairs.
“Inuyasha! You're bed is ready!”
Inuyasha threw his hands in the air. “This is fucking ridiculous.”
Kagome couldn't help but smile at his distress. Maybe he was right about her being a girl that was attracted to weakness. Maybe. “I'll go down with you.”
“You owe me.” He said.
“I owe you what?”
“Private time with me. Next time, I'm picking the location.”
“Okay, but it'll have to wait until later. Right now you should get downstairs before Mama walks us here and makes you turn scarlet.”
Well, there you have it. I hope you liked it. I'm feeling a bit rusty, but at least I finally got my butt to sit down and write. Again sorry for the long wait. I hope you enjoyed and sorry, again for the spelling mistakes. But now, I shall sleep! Jian OUT!
