By the way anything italisized is thoughts. Also Kagome is 20, seeing as I figure 2 years in fuedal Japan then 3 years in a coma.

Well ne-way here's the story

====Chapter 1====

~Kag's POV~

It still feels as if the car is under me, going over bumps and rocks as I am being lead up the stairs and across the yard of the shrine.

"SURPRISE!!!"Everyone yelled as they removed my blindfold. I stumbled a few steps, by the shock of the sudden light and noise. When everything came into focus I was taken aback by the sight.(wouldn't you just hate me if I left it here..*evil smile*)

Balloons and presents were everywhere. My eyes wandered over everything to rest on a tall figure in the corner. He wore a long trench coat and his face was shadowed, but I still knew who it was. Hope flashed across my mind as one solitary word formed in my thoughts 'Dad?' I looked over to mom hope and question in my eyes. All she did was nod.

"Dad?" I slowly said tears came to my eyes as the man looked at me with his twilight blue/grey eyes so like my own. His black hair freely falling around his face. I couldn't take it anymore. I still remember the day he left...I still remeber the pain...

~*Flashback*~

I woke up to the slam of a door. I stumbled down the stairs and ran into the living room were I see my mom crying, she's 7 1/2 months pregnant.

Shocked and confuzed Iran out the door across the yard to fall looking down the shrine steps. All I saw was my father climbing into a car with a bag slung over his shoulder.

I ran after the car still in my blue pajamas with white dogs on them yelling for him to come back, with only the dust cloud to comfort me as I made my way back up the shrine steps. Later that day mom went into labor... and dad never came back...

~*End Flashback*~

'It was is just too much...to MUCH!!' my mind just kept screaming as I raced, or attempted, upstairs crying. Only to land on my bed.

~Kagome's Mom POV~

Kagome looked over to me questioningly. I couldn't speak to her nnot trusting my voice. I could already see tears brimming in the corner of her eyes. So I did the only thing I could think of so I nodded. She looked dazed as if remembering something. Then she started to cry furiously...I wanted to hold her, but she ran upstairs, stumbling every now and then, before I could do anything. My heart is renching. I hate it when one of my children are crying.

~Authors POV~

Everyone just stood there in an uncomfortable silence till Gin, Kagome's Mother said "Well think this was to soon for her. I think it is time for you all to go but thank you all so much for coming."

They all stared to crowd out the door sayinf their farewells to Gin. Turning around after shutting the door she came face to face with her exhusband, eyes widening slightly beofre returning to normal.

"Glad you came." She said to the man.

"After hearing my only daughter woke up from being in a coma for 3 years how could I not."

"She's going to hate you. You know that don't you...."

"I'll take me chances" He siad before brushing past her to leave the premises.(sp^^;;)

"I wouldn't blame her either.." Mrs Higurashi mumbled to herself as she started to clean up with the intent of calling some one afterwords..

AHHHHhhhhhhh.......okay people if I forgot to mention this it the reason for her coma comes up in the next two chappies so Mwahahahahaha

hello Rune here sorry the chapters are so short also that they are going slow but they will pick up in about a chapter or so..sooooooooo any ideas I open to them and if they fit in somewhere in my plot they will be in the story I might even make room for them. only thing this is a INUYASHA/KAGOME fic .........I'll need anywhere from 12-13 reviews before I start writing again and you will also might win something....I know a cookie!!
