He watched the young raven headed girl from the future, beneath him. She looked so beautiful, so innocent and pure. Than that stupid song started ringing in his head yet again! And a lost look appeared over his features.

`What the hell is wrong with me! She will never love me like I do her…'

He sighed yet again for the third time that night, and decided that today was going to be the day.

He jumped down from the tree he was perched upon, and looked at the girl silently. He turned his back to her and motioned for her to get on his back.

She stood still, not comprehending but soon enough slowly climbed on his back and made a motion for the others to stay.

With out another word, the inu-hanyou ran off to a secluded place to make his big move…

He ran past trees and branches. He ran with such speed everything except the stars above them was blurry. It seemed to her that he was running for something. All she could do was pray that everything was ok.

After finding a perfect spot, the young hanyou set his package down. The young miko steadied herself after such a fast-trip and took in her surrounds. A gasp escaped her lips as she saw the beautiful small lake, which reflected a full moon; around the lake was a circle of tree, as if hiding this sacred place. Everything seemed wonderfully perfect. She than turned to the man who bought her here.

He had his back turned towards her, his mystical silver hair shinning with an eerie midnight glow. He seemed tense, like something was eating him inside. The raven-haired beauty went over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind. Whispering her questions,

“ Inuyasha… What's the matter? Is everything ok?”

It was than and there he decided to get his thoughts out. He turned around and wrapped his arms tightly around the young girl. He held her close, he held her like never before. And the only thing that went through his mind was that he would never let go.

Inuyasha looked deep into Kagome's chocolate brown eyes. He sighed and leaned his leaned his head down. He pressed his face a little to close for Kagome's comfort and softly placed his lips over hers, as he whispered against them,

“ Nothings the matter… I'm just … doing something I should have done a long time ago Kagome...”

With that, he fully placed his lips upon hers, and wrapping his arms around her small frame he kissed her.

Surprised at first, Kagome stood still as the love of her life kissed her. Once the shock wore off, she returned the kiss with equal passion. The first to pull back was Kagome and she looked deep into honey golden eyes. She smiled and laughed at what she saw in them. Inuyasha smiled and was greeted with the same emotions.

“And to think…. we spent all this time thinking one didn't like the other eh?”joked the half demon. He smiled at her giggle and finally uttered the ever so wanted words….

Her response was to lean up and kiss him for the second time that night as she smiled and whispered back at him.
