Rin had tears in her eyes. Those blades hurt, a lot. Kagome was going in and out of consciousness. Kaugra was hitting Kagome with twice the amount of blades than Rin was getting hit with, Kaugra really didn't like Kagome. Both girls were losing too much blood, too fast. Rin was getting dizzy. Where are you SesshoMaru? She thought frantically.

SesshoMaru stopped suddenly. "What are you doing? We have to go save Kagome, if you're going to slow down, then I'm going to leave you." SesshoMaru stayed still, Always so impatient. "Something's not right. It shouldn't be so easy to find them." He said. InuYasha looked around, "You're right." Just then a little girl walked out of nowhere. "Oh no" InuYasha said, SesshoMaru looked at him. "That's Kanna. Only Kagome's arrows can stop her. With out her, she'll steal our souls." SesshoMaru huffed, but stopped when he say the girl take out a round mirror. I heard of that before, he thought. InuYasha took out his Tetsusiga. Kanna twisted the mirror, and a white light started to come out of InuYasha's body. SesshoMaru wanted his brother dead (A/N~ yes I no they r working 2gether but they still h8 each other, they work 2gether wen they need each other, but they don't get along get it?) but he wanted to be the one to kill him. SesshoMaru leapt forwards to the young girl, and with one wave of his poisonous whip, she was dead. The light returned to InuYasha's body, and he shook his head and smiled at his brother, "Thanks." He said. SesshoMaru brushed off his shoulder. "You know the deal." InuYasha nodded. The deal was they don't let anyone else kill the other. One brother was going to do the other in. The two looked at one another and continued on their way.

Rin was scared. For the first time since she has been traveling with SesshoMaru, she was scared. Kagome had been knocked unconscious from the pain and blood loss moments ago. Kaugra said that since she couldn't feel pain in the state she was in now, she wouldn't hurt her until she woke up. Kaugra said she would put her full attention on Rin. Rin looked at Kagome. She hoped the older girl was alright, she liked her, and Kagome was really nice. Please don't be dead, she wished.

They were getting close, SesshoMaru could tell. Suddenly, InuYasha put his hand over his nose. "Oh gods." He whispered, as he removed his hand. SesshoMaru knew what his brother was talking about. I can smell his whore's blood, and lots of it. And-and Rin's blood too. His eyes gleamed. "Get moving dirty blood!" he hissed. InuYasha followed. The scent of Kagome's blood was making him sick, it smelled beautiful, like her, but her blood meant she was hurt and that was enough to hurt him. He never wanted to smell her blood. SesshoMaru looked to his brother and at the scared look on his face. A disgrace, a demon shouldn't be scared. It has been a while since his brother has been scared, SesshoMaru knew this. Looking at his brother again, he blinked. He looks so young; I had forgotten how young he really is. Not wanting his little brother to think he care, SesshoMaru hit him on his back and continued on, looking back to make sure his brother was following. When InuYasha came out of his daze, the brothers took off in an amazing speed. Then SesshoMaru heard her scream

Kagome had woken up, this made Rin feel a little better, but it also make Kaugra a little angrier. She started a full blown attack on the girls, and it hurt like Hell. Where was her lord? Rin started to cry. "SESSY!"

InuYasha and SesshoMaru just got to the bottom of a stair case when they could hear a yell, "SESSY!" SesshoMaru looked up the stairs, where the voice came from. It was a cry of pain and fear, and these were emotions he never wanted Rin to feel. InuYasha looked at his brother, SesshoMaru can give protection? Ha. But as his brother's expression change, InuYasha wasn't so sure what he thought was true. SesshoMaru and InuYasha skipped to a stop outside a thick wooden door. From inside the brothers could smell blood and tears. They frowned as they heard Kaugra's laughter and their "friends'" screams. InuYasha growled as SesshoMaru knocked down they door. When their eyes adjusted to the dim light they were horrified. Both Rin and Kagome were chained to a wall, which was supporting them fully, unable to maintain their own weight anymore. They were covered in their own blood with pools of it beneath them, their blood splattering the wall behind them. They looked completely exhausted, and had tears running down their faces. Rin smiled weakly when she saw her lord enter, but looked fuzzily at the other man, he kind of looked like her lord, but younger. Could this be the one Kagome was talking about? She thought and looked at the older girl, who was looking at the other man with pure joy. When she caught sight of SesshoMaru though, she looked scared. "Don't be afraid." Said the man. Then the two men looked at Kaugra, "You will pay." They said and charged at her with their swords. Kaugra was dead before she hit the ground, but the men didn't notice. "InuYasha" Kagome whispered, and the younger man stopped and ran to her. Rin stared at SesshoMaru, she hardly ever saw her lord attack anyone, and she didn't like it, not one bit. "No more, Sessy. No more" she said, tears falling. SesshoMaru looked at his hand, which was covered in blood. He shook his head and walked over to a basin of water, dunking his whole upper half of his body, he flung himself back, water dripping all over. She was not to see that. He thought.

He turned and walked to the girl, looking at his brother and his whore. InuYasha had freed her and wrapped her in his yukata, calling her name quietly, trying to keep her from falling out of consciousness. They looked so young. He turned his attention to the one creature who cared about him, and in one swipe, had her free, falling into his arm. He thought once he was there, her tears would stop, but they only came in faster proportions. "I-I'm sorry My Lord!" she choked out, "They won't s-s-stop! Make them stop, Sessy" she begged. I would wish to do nothing more, my Rin. He thought, but what to do? He looked to his brother, that Kagome was crying hard, but she was calming down. InuYasha was looking into her eyes, and talking to her softly. "I have something I want to tell you." He whispered. The woman looked at him, "I-I, I love you, Kagome." He whispered. She instantly stopped, and pulled one of his hands away from her face. Rejection? SesshoMaru thought. InuYasha turned his head way. Kagome pulled his hand to her mouth and kissed it sweetly. InuYasha turned to her, and gently kissed her, he turned to his brother. "Good luck, thank you for helping me save my Kagome." And pulled her into his arms and ran out.

SesshoMaru looked down at Rin; she had her face buried in his chest. He sat down and pulled her away. She looked away, "Sorry" she whispered. He picked her chin up in his hand, "For what?" she smiled and hugged him, kissing his jaw as she did so. SesshoMaru pulled her away again, and gently kissed away each of her tears. She started laughing. "Thank you for saving me." She said. "As if I would do anything else?" she shrugged. "I should be they one thanking you, for saving me." She looked at him, "From what?" "From myself." And he kissed her again, this time on the lips. "I like you more than I ever liked anyone before my lo-" but SesshoMaru cut her off before she could finished and smiled. "Sessy" she whispered. He nodded and they kissed once more.
