well, here's my 5th fanfic about Inuyasha. this is an AU fic and is intended to show my life with my boyfriend. no no, i'm not THAT corny...but what inuyasha fics arent??? anyways....on with the show....welcome to "Because."

 

Chapter One- Late

 

"Kagome!!!! Babe, come on...we're gonna be late..." Inuyasha said. It was first day of school of their sophomore year and they already happened to be late.

 

"Oh my gosh Inuyasha! This is all your fault, now I wont be able to find all my classes." Kagome scolded Inuyasha.

 

"What?! I have no idea what you're talking about." Inuyasha said as he sped down the road.

 

--- Shikon High

 

"-and that class is how we use the ideal gas law. For homework, I want you to-"

 

"I'm sorry I'm late!" Kagome yelled after she had burst into the classroom.

 

"um...it's quite alright Ms. Higurashi..." Ms. Kaede said. She showed Kagome to her seat and continued with the class.

 

"Oh dear, Kagome was late to her very first class!" Eri whispered to Ayumi.

"I'm sure she'll have some kind of excuse before she gets counted tardy on the computer" Ayumi whispered back.

 

Kagome was always a goody-good. She rarely ever got into trouble and always got the highest grades. Her boyfriend, Inuyasha, was a different story. He was only a 10th grader but already joined a school gang. "The Skullz" . They were known for being the ultimate bullies in Shikon High, but Kagome had warned Inuyasha that she would never speak to him again if he caused any trouble. The rest of the gang got a real laugh out of that.

 

After first period had ended, Kagome had to run to her next class so she had enough time to study for her summer reading quiz. But when she sat at a random seat, Inuyasha plopped next to her which caused her to squeal in surprise.

 

"Inuyasha! ....what are you doing here? This is Advanced Placement Japanese History..." Kagome said puzzled.

 

"Well...last year Mr. Myoga recommended me because I got such high grades in his boring class."

 

"Now now, thats not nice. Well...I have to study. Aren't you even worried about the quiz?!" Kagome yelled.

 

gosh she's so cute...I'm so lucky...Koga better not lay a hand on her this year...I swear....I will shove my APJH book up hi-

"INUYASHA!"

 

Inuyasha whirled around to see who had screamed his name so loudly. Of course...it was Kikyo.

 

"Ugh...she's in this freakin class too? Inuyasha, you better make sure she sits in the back, farthest away from you. and me." Kagome whispered.

 

"oh Kikyo...! What a surprise....!" a surprise indeed...Inuyasha thought with grief.

 

"Like, oh my gosh. Its been such a long time honey! Did you miss me over the summer? I'm really sorry what happened to you and that Kagome girl, you two were never really meant to be!" Kikyo said with semi-sympathy. "That girl was just a bitch anyways..."

 

"...excuse me???"Kagome asked Kikyo with deep hatred in her eyes.

 

"Oh! Look who it is! Its the stupid Kagome-girl who dumped my poor Inuyasha for absolutely nothing! Look here bi-"

 

"Hey now! Kikyo, Kagome and I never broke up last year, so whatever you're high on, I suggest you stop. Jeez..." Inuyasha irritatedly said.

 

"Well well well...what is all this? Sophomore drama? no no no....that wont do. My name is Mr. Totosai and I will be your APJH teacher. The next 36 weeks will be living hell in this classroom if you do not choose to participate."

 

Everyone in the classroom had froze. Who the hell did this guy think he was?
