Prolouge: I'm In Feudal Japan?!

 

 

"Huh, Souta?" Kagome ran over to her little brother.

"Sis." He stood looking into the well house.

"You know you shouldn't play here."

"But Buyo..."

"Inside the well house?"

"Buyo" She called as they stepped into the well house.

"I thought I saw him down there" Souta mentioned. Kagome kneeled down. "Let's go down then." Souta kneeled next to her. "But this place feel creepy."

"What are you scared of, aren't you a man?" A slight scratching noise came from the well and Souta promptly jumped behind Kagome. "Something's in there!" He said in a shaky voice. " It's a cat dummy." Kagome retorted as she stood up and walked down the steps. What's that sound? Huh? From inside the well? Kagome screamed causing Souta to jump and fall backward. "Buyo!" he exclaimed. Kagome picked up her fat cat. "Ah that was scary. Don't shout so loud sis."

"You! I found the cat for you!" A scratching noise came from the well again and it started to crack, only Souta noticed. "Sis!" At that moment the well burst open and kagome was pulled into it vanishing. "Sis!!" Souta helplessly called.

Kagome was falling down and something was holding onto her, she turned around and came face to face with a centipede woman. "How wonderful! I can feel my strength overflowing. My body is coming back! You must have it! You have it?" The woman licked Kagomes' cheek. "Let me go! That's disgusting! Let go!" Suddenly a light emitted from Kagomes' hand and the centipede's arm was blown off. "You...I am not going to let you go! Shikon no Tama!" With those last words she fell away.

While still falling Kagome murmured "Shi...Shikon no Tama?" She landed not to gently on the bottom of the well. "This place is... inside the well?" What was that? A dream... She looked to her right and saw the arm. It wasn't a dream! "I have to get out of here!" She stood up. "Souta, aren't you up there? Go and bring Jii-chan!" She started to climb up the vines on the side of the well. "Darn! He must have ran away." While climbing she saw a butterfly, she looked at it curiously for a moment before climbing to the top. She got out of the old well and looked around. She was in a forest. Kagome sat down on the edge of the well. "This place is... I had fallen into the well in the ancestral shrine..." She stood up. "Jii-chan? Mama? Jii-chan? Mama? Souta... Buyo..." She called out the names as she walked around, she found a path and started to walk down in. "Our temple house has vanished..." She looked up and saw a large, thick, tall tree. "The Goshinboku!" She ran towards the tree as fast as she could. "I'm saved! Our house should be around here!" A disappointed look crossed her face as she looked around and didn't see the shrine anywhere.

"There you are Kikyo."

"Huh?" Kagome looked over to where the voice was coming from. "Who's Kikyo?"

"Why are you playing dumb, you know who you are, did you bring the Shikon no Tama?"

" I am not Kikyo and I don't have the Shikon no Tama, whatever that is." Kagome tried to see the person as best she could, he was still far away. She walked closer and saw a boy in a red haiori. He...he has sliver hair and dog...dog ears? The boy looked over at her. "Alright, could you just hand over the Shikon no Tama and get this over with?" At that moment a woman dressed as a priestess walked into the clearing, a bow slung over her shoulder with a quiver of arrows beside her.

"Inuyasha.." She breathed out.

"Kikyo?" He replied. If this is Kikyo, than who is the other woman...?

" I do not have the Shikon no Tama." She told him. Inuyasha stared at her in disbelief. "But... but what about what you said?"

"It disappeared this morning, there was no trace of who took it." Kikyo replied solemnly. Kagome just stood there, not understanding a word of this. "Waittttt!" She finally called out. The two looked at her. "And who might you be?" Asked Kikyo. " I'm Kagome. Dog boy over there thought I was you. Now could you please tell me what's going on, who are you, why does he have dog ears, and where the heck am I?!"

 

 

Sorry it's kind of short, I'll try to write more in later chapters. Also, it would help if you submitted a better title for this story, I don't like this one that much. R&R?
