"Please, Kagome." his voice was pleading, his amber eyes begging her.

"No, Inuyasha." she sternly replied, looking away from him and back to the hand that was on her shoulder. She sighed softly and began to turn.

"But, Kagome... You promised." Inuyasha said in a soft voice. Her resolve was crumbling, he could tell and he smirked inwardly.

She looked over at him, one hand poised in her big yellow back pack and she sighed heavilly, tossing the packet at him. He leapt after it and hooted in victory.

Shippou yowled in defeat from his perch on Kagome's shoulder and the girl had to stifle an aggravated groan at the way she had just been manipulated.

Inuyasha gleefully sat beside her, crouched like a dog with a bone, his golden eyes sparkling with joy.

"Well, I did promise, didn't I?" she said sweetly to him and Inuyasha blushed hotly at the gentle look on her face.

She went back into her pack and pulled out a sucker for Shippou, who snatched it away and went to sulk by Kirara.

She opened the packaged and set the water to boil for Inuyasha who eagerly awaited the last bowl of ramen.

Kagome smiled to herself as she worked. Inuyasha hovered beside her.

He always got the last bowl and he knew just the way to get it.
