Hey this my first fan fic so don't get all mad at me if it is bad. No, I don't own any Inuyasha characters.All I own is this story. But, I am a loyal fan to the team so I am just going to write this story.

The sun was just rising over the hills. Dew drops draped the grass as the cool breeze flew through the trees. A beautiful lake glistened from the rays of the sun. The Inuyasha Gang was out again searching for another jewel shard.

"I am so tired!" whined Kagome. "Can we PLEASE take a break? We have been traveling for days and I haven't sensed a single shard yet. Everything is so pretty here. This would be a great place to stop."

Inuyasha, did not want to stop.

"Keh, you are so weak Kagome. We can't stop now! We need to find the jewel shards. Those are WAY more important than taking a break."

"Well maybe," began Kagome, "I won't help you any longer until I get a break!"

Kagome turned around and stomped away from the group. Kagome was tired of Inuyasha always telling her what to do. `That insensitive, pig-headed, creep! I can't take it any longer! Why doesn't he even care on how I feel? It's always Jewel Shards this and Jewel Shards that. I wish I hadn't shattered the Shik no Tama in the first place!'

As Kagome was lost in though, Miroku and Sango have just happened to hear the wonderful chat and walked over to Inuyasha for their input.

"Inuyasha," started Sango, "I think Kagome is right. We really do need a break. We have been traveling for days now and I think all of us are a bit tired."

"Yes Inuyasha," Miroku had begun just before Inuyasha started complaining, "I am getting tired myself. C'mon. Let's just stop for one day. It won't hurt."

Inuyasha was practically steaming at all of this. `Geez I'm surrounded by wimps! Although I am a bit tired myself…No! Well…I guess it wouldn't hurt.'

"Fine! But just for one day!"

Everyone was leaping for joy. Sango and Miroku headed for the lake to tell Kagome the news. Inuyasha leaped up on a tree and just stared at Kagome.

`Why am I acting this sensitive? This is not like me. The first day I met all of my friends, I would be up all night searching for the shards, but now… it's like I changed. I was even more stubborn around Kikyou before she died. But now since I'm with everyone, it's like… I'm not the scary hanyou anymore. They treat me like I'm one of them. Especially Kagome…'
