A/N: Hello everybody! So I'm back! Sorry I haven't updated! Just REALLY busy! I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to lay out this story! Oh well! Ok anywho…. On with the fic!

Ch2: Meet the Cast

Inuyasha woke up the next morning with his head pounding, "Damn it, my head hurts like a…"

RING! RING! RING!

"Damn telephone" Inuyasha mumbles and goes to pick it up, "WHAT?"

"Well good morning sunshine!" the person the line responds.

"Don't mess with me Miroku! It's too fucking early!"

"It's 1:30 man! You were suppose to meet us at the studio to do a read through a half an hour ago! Everyone's waiting!"

"Don't get your panties in a bunch I'll be there in 30 minutes!"

"Make it 10!"

"Feh whatever" Inuyasha hung up and went to his balcony that looked over the city. LA wasn't really a pretty place but the view of the mountains really brought out something. Deciding that he didn't want to piss Miroku off more then he really was Inuyasha went to take a quick shower. He was out under 2 minutes and picked out jeans a red muscle shirt and a black jacket.

Inuyasha went down to his garage to his cars. Cars were his passion, all of them, especially fast ones. But his favorite was his baby, his red Ferrari. He quickly got in and speed off to the studio.

"Ok Miroku I'm here." Inuyasha says as he bursts into the double doors into where the read through was taking place.

"Well your majesty, I'm glad you decided to join us." Miroku says while motioning him to sit down.

Inuyasha looked around the room, there were about 20 there but the only person that caught his eyes were Kagome. She was looking beautiful in her Juicy pants and jacket with her hair up. She smiled at him when he took a seat next to her.

"Hi Inuyasha, who are you?" She says smiling at him.

Inuyasha shrugs and turns his attention to Miroku who was now speaking.

"Well now that the cast is finally all here," he says looking at Inuyasha, "I would like to welcome you all to the production of the "Moulin Rouge"! I'm very excited about doing this movie and I hope you all are too. First I would like to introduce you all to my leading lady, Miss Kagome Higurashi! She will be playing the role of Satine or the Sparkling Diamond."

Kagome smiled and got up, "I'm excited about being involved in this movie and I can't wait to get started!"

"Now," Miroku says, "I would like to introduce you to our leading man, Inuyasha Tetsaiga, he will be playing the role of Christian or the penniless writer."

Inuyasha didn't get up but stayed in his seat, "I really don't know what I'm doing here, I got talked into it by Miroku."

"Well," Miroku says, "I'm glad you're here too Inuyasha!"

"Feh! Whatever Miroku I have other things to do today you know!"

"You know if you were here on time dog turd then we could be out of here sooner!"

Inuyasha looked around the room until his eyes rested on him, that wimpy wolf.

"What the hell are you doing here Koga?"

"Ahem," Miroku says, "Koga is part of the production, he'll be playing the part of the Duke."

"Yeah dog turd, I still don't understand why I didn't get the lead!"

"Well that's simple," Inuyasha sneers, "Your not good enough to play a lead role!"

"I'm going to kick your ass!" Koga says getting up from his chair and making his way to Inuyasha.

"I like to see you try you bastard!" Inuyasha says getting up too.

Just when Inuyasha was about to hit Koga a hand stopped and caught his fist.

"Inuyasha you must stop this madness."

"Sesshoumaru what the hell are you doing here?!?" Inuyasha exclaims.

"Well little brother, I'm part of the movie of course, now take your seat before I knock you out myself!"

"I like to see you try you-"

"Inuyasha! Sesshoumaru! Please take your seats!" Miroku says, "Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru will be playing Harry Zeilder! Now won't this be fun! Both brothers working on the same movie together!"

"Funny," Inuyasha say, "but `fun' wasn't exactly the word I was looking for!"

"Yeah well on with the read through! Here are your scripts!" Miroku says while handing them out to everyone.

Everyone took a couple of minutes to look over their lines and examine the script, everyone one was quite until, "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!"

"Inuyasha as much as I like your little outbursts," Miroku says calmly, "some people are trying to read their lines!"

"NO ONE TOLD ME THIS WAS A ROMANCE MOVIE!"

"Well what did you think it was! You know I'm a lover, not a fighter!"

Inuyasha rolls his eyes, "I never agreed to do a romance movie! I mean for God's sake Miroku! I just got done filming "Fast and the Furious" I'm a bad boy! Bad boys don't believe that," he pauses flipping through his script and then reading from it, "the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return! I mean for goodness sake! Can anything it be any cheesier!"

"I think it's the truth." Kagome says. Inuyasha looks at Kagome, he had forgotten that she was even here anymore.

Kagome had been really into her script and all her lines, imagining how the scene would look like when she was brought out of her fantasy world by all the yelling. She only heard half of the conversation but what really stuck in her mind was what Inuyasha had said, `the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return' and that's when she choose to speak up.

"It's the truth."

"What that it's cheesy?" Inuyasha asks.

"No about what you said about love!"

"Feh what would you know about love wench!"

"Excuse me did you just call me a wench?"

"What you got hearing problems?"

"How dare you! You little-"

"KAGOME!" Sango choose the perfect time to burst into the room, "Kagome you have a photo shoot in 15 minutes with Seventeen! Come on let's go!"

Kagome was still shaking with fury when she got up, "I'm sorry Miroku but I have to go."

"I understand Kagome, now please don't take anything that Inuyasha says personally he's just a little hot headed! But official rehearsals are in two days so you have some time to look over the script! Thank you again for coming Kagome."

Kagome nodded and left the room with Sango.

"Now Inuyasha!" Miroku says to him, "why can't you once in your life be nice! Just a little! Wanting to or not you two are going to be working together!"

"I don't have to work with her if I don't want to! I quit this movie!"

"You can't quit!"

"No? Just watch me!"

"No I mean you REALLY can't, yesterday at the restaurant you signed a contract! Then Kikyo signed it this morning!"

"You mean you had me sign a document when I was drunk! Why you little! I'm going to kill you!" Inuyasha says getting up.

"Now I can understand that you're mad," Miroku says backing away from the deranged hanyou, "But I only have you best interest at heart! This movie can soften up your image everyone thinks you're so rough!"

"SOFTEN THIS!" says Inuyasha lunging at Miroku. They both rolled around with Inuyasha clutching Miroku's neck until Sesshoumaru pulled him off.

Inuyasha got up shaking his brother off and breathing heavily, "I'm going to kill you Miroku! Watch your back!"

"Yes I love you too Inuyasha." Miroku says getting up, "Now there is no sense in staying here I want you all on the set in two day at 7am no one be late! I mean it Inuyasha!"

"Feh whatever monk." Then he roughly picked up his script and headed towards his car to go home.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~***MEANWHILE***~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I can't believe that jerk!" Kagome mumbles to herself, "How dare he call me a wench, I mean who does he think he is?"

"Talking to your self Kagome?" Sango asks her bestfriend.

"No, it's just that inuyasha is so irritating! I was really looking forward to working on this movies but now that Inuyasha is in it I don't know anymore."

"Aww Kag don't worry about it! Miroku says not to worry much about Inuyasha, he'll warm up sooner or later!"

"Yeah, right." Kagome says while looking out of the limo window.

Sango shook her head and continued to write in her daily planner, being Kagome's manager wasn't easy. Kagome was getting at least 3 movie offerings an hour, it was a lot to keep up with but it was all worth it to work with your bestfriend.

The limo soon stopped at the Seventeen building and they both rushed in. Kagome was soon getting hair, makeup and wardrobe while Sango was talking to the photographer.

Kagome soon started and the photographer started to take pictures, "Now turn your head, that's it! That's it! Now to the right! There! Now look at me! Look at me! I love it Kagome! Your blue eyes really bring all of your features out!"

"Thanks Jimmy!" Kagome says smiling as Jimmy stops to reload the camera.

Sango continued to make appointments as the photo shoot continued. The shoot ended about 2 hours after that.

"Thanks Jimmy! I'll see you later!" Kagome says before she leaves.

"Anything else on the agenda Sango?"

"Hmm let's see, oh tonight you were invited to go to P. Diddy's birthday party at 8. I'll pick up your dress, just be ready by 8! So you can arrive fashionably late!"

Both Sango and Kagome laugh as the limo stops in front of Kagome's house, "I'll see you later ok Sango!"

"Yeah get some rest Kagome! You look tired!"

"Yeah thanks Sango, think I'll take a nap before the party! Bye!" Kagome says as she gets out of the limo and into her house.

Kagome says hi to her butler and her maids and makes her way upstairs.

"Wow I didn't realize how tired I was! I guess last night I had a little too much Champaign!" she says as she walks into her huge room.

"I think I'll go take a bubble bath before I take a nap."

Kagome turns on the water into her pool size bathtub and filled it up with her favorite scent, Amber Romance from Bath & Body works.

She soon takes off her clothes and slips into the warm water. She quickly relaxes and closes her eyes.

About 20 minutes later she gets out and puts on a big shirt and goes to lay down on her bed. Kagome turns on the TV and starts flipping through the channels. She didn't find anything interesting although there was a station that was talking about her. She learned long ago not to pay attention what the tabloids or the people said about you or you would go crazy.

Kagome soon turns off the TV and pulls the cover over her-self and quickly falls asleep.

About 3 hours later she was awaken by Sango.

"Come on Kag get up!"

"5 more minutes!" she says sleepily.

"No come on! Don't make me drag you out! And you know I will!"

"I'm up! I'm up! Kagome says throwing the covers off of her.

"There is your dress," Sango says pointing to a beautiful beige dress with sparkles.

"Its beautiful Sango!"

"I thought you might like it! Now hurry up and put it on! Cindy, your make up artist and hair dresser will be here in 15 minutes!"

About an hour later Kagome was ready. She looked absolutely stunning, the dress hugging her in all the right places, her make up nice and natural and her hair down in loose curls.

"Come on Kag into the limo!" Sango says rushing her in.

"Coming! Coming!" Kagome soon gets into the car and they rush off to the party.

The limo pulled up and soon stopped. As soon as the car stopped her door was opened and Kagome stepped out.

As soon as she did there was a thunderous amount of yelling and cameras were going off.

Kagome stopped and talk to a few fans and took a few pictures from the paparazzi.

She also stopped and talked to P. Diddy taking a few pictures with him and saying happy birthday.

She made her way in talking to a few celebrities. She continues to make her way through the crowd when she bumped into something or more somebody, "Oh I'm sorry-What are you doing here?!?"
