Behind the Scenes

Ch3: Click?

"-what are you doing here?"

"You know," Inuyasha says smirking down at her, "normally people would say they were sorry after bumping in to someone."

"That's right and you're NO one!"

"Ouch, was that suppose to hurt?"

"You want to see hurt? Wait until I get up and you'll see hurt!"

"Feh"

"Well?"

"Well what wench?"

"Help me up!"

"And why would I do that?"

"BECAUSE YOU KNOCKED ME DOWN!"

"Look Kagome I know you like to be the center of attention and all-"

"Don't start with me about center of attention Mr. I'm here let's get the party started!"

"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to interrupt people when they are talking? It's quite rude Kagome."

"Don't tell me what's rude and what's not!"

"Uh hu," Inuyasha says glancing around the room his gaze landing on some women with big boobs, "look love to stay and uh `chat' but I've got better things to do."

"Why you! GET BACK HERE AND HELP ME!"

Sango quietly took a sip of her wine before looking once again the room. This was a nice party, but she was here working, promoting Kagome.

She sighed and went to grab another glass of wine from the waiter when another hand took the last glass.

"Hey! That's mine!"

The person soon turned around, "Of course it's yours I was getting it for you!"

"Miroku! I didn't know you would be here."

He gave her a kiss before replying, "Well Inuyasha is here, I was hoping to calm him down a bit. You know, before he actually kills me."

Sango laughed, "Inuyasha wouldn't kill you, you guys are bestfriend!"

"Don't underestimate Inuyasha Sango dear, quite a temper that one has!"

"Yes well Kagome too, speaking of that I hope they don't run into each ---"

"GET BACK HERE!" came Kagome's voice from the other end of the party.

"Too late dear, better go find Inuyasha!" Miroku says.

"Right and Miroku," Sango says in a sweet voice, "GET YOUR HAND OFF MY ASS!"

"Right dear." Says Miroku walking through the party with a red hand mark on his face.

"That creep! I can't believe him! And he's talking to me about manners!" Kagome mumbles taking a big gulp from her wine.

"Do you always talk to yourself?"

"Huh?" Kagome says coming face to face with Koga, "Koga! Hey what are you doing here?"

"Well I was invited of course, and when I found out you were coming I just had to come!" he says to her giving her his best sexy smile.

"Well that's great, its good to see a friendly face."

"Its always good to see your face." Koga says making Kagome blush. (a/n: soooo cheesy I know bear with me!)

Half way across the room Inuyasha sat talking to a girl with blond hair and big boobs, "So like yeah! I was like no way! And like I was totally like, as if! Turquoise is NOT the new pink!"

"Right, yea, uh hu, turquoise pink." Inuyasha was nearly paying attention to her still glancing around the floor looking for new prey, I mean women.

His eyes suddenly landed on silken raven hair that seemed to be bouncing a bit. He soon figured out that it was Kagome.

Inuyasha growled, he's not suppose to be attracted to her, well not anymore at least, but something was growling in his chest.

Kagome soon moved giving Inuyasha the perfect view of who she was talking to, `Koga! That fucking bastard! I'm going to kill him! Wait why am I caring who she sees or not, stupid wench.'

Inuyasha attention didn't move from Kagome watching as she laughed at things Koga said to her. He was making wild hand gestures sending her into a fit of giggles.

After a while Inuyasha got bored to the blonde's babbling and Kagome and Koga were still talking.

`Well,' Inuyasha figured to himself, `she does look pretty bored right now, I really should go save her from talking to that wolf.'

"Uh hey its been... uh... great talking to you babe but I got to go!"

"But wait!" the blond exclaims, "what about the turquoise and the pink?"

"Look RED is the new pink OK!" With that he stomped off to find Kagome.

"Yeah so when I jumped down I was covered with blue paint!" Koga says making Kagome laugh.

"It wasn't funny!" Koga says still smiling.

"I know, I'm sorry," Kagome says trying to suppress her giggling, "but you covered in blue paid must of looked absolutely adorable!"

"So you think I'm adorable?"

"I uh" Kagome says stumbling for words.

"Adorable wasn't exactly the word I was looking for but it'll do, how about we get out of here?"

"I uh"

"She can't" Came another voice.

"What the hell are you doing here mutt face?" Koga says spying Inuyasha.

"Enjoying the party, well I was until you showed up!"

"Well then that's ok then because me and Kagome are leaving."

"I already told you she's not leaving! She owes me a dance!"

"I do?" as a Kagome confused.

"Yes!" Inuyasha says to her giving her a look.

"My woman doesn't owe you anything!"

"Wait! Your what?"

"My woman dog breath! Hands off of her!"

"She's not your woman!"

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Is not!

"STOP!" came Kagome's voice, "stop acting like children!"

"He started it!" Inuyasha says.

"Nuh uh! You did!"

"You!

"No you!"

"You!"

"You!"

"ENOUGH!" Kagome shouts, "Koga please go calm down and get a drink while I talk to Inuyasha.

"Fine but only for you because you're my woman!" Koga says before giving her a chased kiss making Inuyasha growl.

"I'm going to tear him apart!"

"Inuyasha calm down."

"Come on."

Come on?" Kagome questions, "Where?"

"You owe me dance remember?"

Inuyasha soon wrapped his arms around Kagome's petite figure and held her close, he had this strange need that he had to protect her.

"So what made you come over earlier?" Kagome says after a few moments of silence.

"Well I was rescuing you of course!"

"Rescuing me?"

Inuyasha nodded still not letting go.

"Rescuing me from the nice conversation I was having with the nice interesting man -er wolf."

"It sounds like you would still rather be talking to him."

"Well maybe I do!"

"Fine then!"

"Fine!"

Both of them didn't realize how close they were to each other, inches apart, noses almost touching.

Kagome breath hitched in her throat, "I-"

CLICK

"Uh?"

CLICK CLICK CLICK

"What the hell?"

CLICK CLICK

"Ah great," Inuyasha realizes, `the paparazzi got in! Let's make a run for it!"

Both Inuyasha and Kagome run out of the club through the back entrance both quickly stepping in to Inuyasha's blood red viper.

"Where are we going?"

"Well I'm dropping you off home."

"Oh"

After a few moments of silence Kagome realized something, "You don't even know where I live!"

"Feh are you kidding? Everyone one knows where you live, its called STAR MAPS, sold on every street corner in LA."

"Oh"

They finally pulled up to Kagome's driveway and Inuyasha turned off the car.

"Nice place." Inuyasha's says.

"Thanks... it use to be Madonna's."

"Oh that's nice."

"....."

"...."

"Well..."

"I should be going" Kagome says quickly.

"Right, going."

"Yeah so see you on Monday." She says opening the car door and heading inside.

Inuyasha sat in his car for a few minutes, then something hit him, "WHATS ON MONDAY!?!"

A/N: Well I hope you guys enjoyed that! I dunno how long its going to be for my next up data... not even sure if imma gonna continue this story. Got some new ideas tell me if you like them!
