Hello!! I'm Miss Crossheart (or Count D, whatever). I would just like to say a few things before you read this fanfic. First, I'd like to say that when you read this fic, I want you to pretend it's a movie. Because, every time I read a fanfiction, I pretend I'm actualy watching a movie of the anime the fanfic is based on. That's how I see it. So, just pretend that this is a realy realy cool movie ^^. Also, this *movie* takes place near the end of the series, where the WHOLE cast of Inuyasha is in it, so to read this, you have to know a lot about the show. And finaly, I'd like to thank all of you for taking time to read this fic and all of you who have helped me in the process. Thank You and enjoy the movie! ^^v

Belong

Where am I? What is this place? Am I lost? Am I...Dreaming? Kagome questioned herself as she sat there in an endless void. It was bright and colorful. Like the Northern Lights, or the Aroura Borialis, as she thought. Color soon faded into darkness. As a shining haven to a dark war. She became frightend. Terrified. Sparks of inhuman light flew everywhere. Like demons. Suddenly, a voice from afar spoke.

"St-......a.......yyyyy.................w....y....."

"H-Helo...?" She spoke faintly in fear. He heart accelerated every second.In the very last moment, she gasped. She gasped for air as she saw a rotting corpse apear. It was upside down in a pool of water infront of her. She walked over slowly and coutiously. Every step brought her heart at a faster pace. She paused as she stood above the cold body. She steadily moved her hand over to the shoulder of the corpse. To get it all over with she immediately turned the body over.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" It was-

"Kagome!"

"Huh...?" Kagome emediately jumped up out of her bed, gasping for air and her heart pumping hard. She looked up to see her mother standing at the doorway of her room with a basket of laundry in her hands.

"Kagome, you over slept, you're going to be late for school again. And why are you sweating so much? It's not hot in here, you look like as if you've seen a ghost." It had been a dream.

"Ohh, uh... I had a bad dream. That's all."

"Oh okay, anyway, get dressed and come down stairs for some brekfast. I realy don't want my daughter having detention because of her tardyness." After that, Her mother gave a bright smile and left Kagome's room and shut the door. Kagome just sat there for a minute, shook her head, sighed, then got up to get ready for school.

She walked down stairs to the kitchen and found her grandfather and little brother. Her grandpa was eating a full plate filled with bacon, sausages, a stack of pankakes smuthered in syrup, and some buttered toast. And her brother, Sota, was sitting down on the floor infront of the TV watching cartoons.

"Don't you have school today, Sota?" She asked.

Her brother smiled mischeviously, "Nope, I have a doctor's apointment today." He stuck his tounge at him and she did the same back.

Their mother suddenly walked by to finish frying the scrambled eggs, which was Sota's breakfast, ofcourse. "Dad, if you keep eating regularly like that, you're going to get a heart attack in no time."

"Ohh please, my heart's made of freakin' steal!" Sofu shouted angrily.

"Yeah, okay." She just rolled her eyes as she served Sota breakfast. "Honey, please don't sit so close to the TV, you'll ruin your eye sight." Sota just nodded his head with his mouth open and continued to stare at the television, in the same spot. Mrs. Higurashi just sighed.

"Um, Kagome, are you going to eat anything?" Her mother asked.

"Oh, no thanks mom, I don't want to be late. I'll pick something up at the school vending machine." God knows she didn't want to remain in that hell house for another minute.

"Aww man! Commercial Break..." Sota groaned. Just as Kagome was about to leave, something caught her attention. It was a commercial on TV:

*" Hi there! My name is Komojo Aiyate and I'm running for govoner of this town! If you elect me, I'll be trustworthy, friendly, and honest. And I'll never do a lazy job on anything! So, vote for me, Komojo Aiyate for govoner!"*

"Komojo...Aiyate...?" Kagome just stood there.

Her mother then pointed in,"Yes, young, isn't he? He's only twenty years old and already he's running an election."

"Realy? How's that?" She asked.

"Simple, a rich family, of course." Her grandfather added.

Kagome shook her head then waved goodbye. "Well, gotta go. See ya'"

"Have a nice day at school dear." Her mother said as she left the side door.

Kagome then walked out to the sidewalk on her way to school. "Ugh, I'll never make it by walking. I guess I'm going to have to take the train." Komojo... Why did he look so...familiar? She pondered to herself as she walked her way to the station.

Komojo... How wired...

"Miss, that will be $2.50 please. Miss?"

"Huh? Oh, here." She recieved her ticket and went up the escalator to the train. She waited for a few minutes untill the train arrived. She steped inside and looked clueless. No seats...again, she thought to herself.

"Ughh, So I have to stand. Perfect- Ohh! Uh, sorry!" She noticed that she had bumped into someone.

"Ohh don't worry about it." The young, handsome man smiled. He realy was attractive. Beautiful was more like it. He had dark jet black hair, and forest green eyes. He wore all black with leather pants. Kinda' like a rock star. He was realy pale too.

"No, really, I am sorry- Um, have I seen you somewhere before...?" She just stared at him. "Um, I don't recall ever meeting you...But- Sorry..."

"Ohh no, it's okay! I take this train nearly every day, so, you must've just caought a glance at me without even noticing." He smiled very politely.

Kagome smiled back too, although a little imbarassed. She should have just shut her mouth and kept everything to her self.

"Well, I really don't want to be rude, so... might as well introduce myself, I'm Kano. And you~?" He questioned and laughed lightly.

"Ohh, uhm, I'm, uh, Kagome. It's Kagome." They shook hands.

Just suddenley, a women barged in right between the two. She looked like a very nice person. Maybey a goody-two-shoes. She was very pretty, too.

She looked at Kano, worying. "I sure hope you aren't picking her up...?" She looked innocently and shyly. Was she with Kano? They looked like opposites...

"Ohh, no!" He said deffencively. Come to think of it, that girl looks pretty familiar as well.

"Well..." She looked down for a moment. "Alright." She then smiled. Surely she didn't believe him...?

Kagome felt sorry so then butted in. "Ohh no! It's not like that at all! I just bumped into him by accident and he was just being polite! I wasn't trying to pick him up or anything! I swear!" She looked realy dumb for the rest of that minute.

~Silence~

That girl then laughed. "Ohh, I believe you! And it's alright, I mean, we just started our relationship three days ago.." She looked up at Kano and smiled. "Well, my name is Sen. What is yours?"

"It's Kagome."

"It's a pleasure meeting you kagome!" Sen seamed to be very excited.

"Ohh no! The pleasure is all mine!" Yet Kagome still seamed to be quite embarasses. Just then, a bell rang. "Oh, that's my stop. I have to go now."

"We hope to see you sometime soon!" Sen quickly added.

"Okay! Nice meeting you!" Kagome ran out of the train. Who knows, if she'll run really fast, maybe she won't be too late.

Mrs. Higurashi sighed as she sat there in the waiting room, watching her son missbehaving. "Sota, Calm down!"

The boy looked up. "Will you buy me a new toy?"

"No!" She screamed and whispered at the same time.

"Okay." He sat there for a minute, opened his mouth widely, and: "LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA LALALALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Alright!!!" Whispered-screamed his mother again, very embarassed.

Sudenly a woman walked in. She had long bright red hair with crystal blue eyes. She was tall and thin and had her hair in a high pony tail. "Hello. I'm Dr. Aiyate. You must be Mrs. Higurashi." The polite lady announced. She then looked over at Sota, who was running around the room like a lunatic. "And you must be Sota!" She smiled.

The young boy looked up and smiled "Yep." 'What a nice lady' He thought. Then, She's gonna be easy. He snickered devilishly.

"Do you have all the paper work, Mrs. Higurashi?"

"Yes, I have it all here." She smiled.

"Then we're all set!" Mrs. Aiyate gave a cheerful smile and walked the mother and son into the small room.

Sota jumped on the sitting table, while Mrs. Higurashi pondered on something "Mrs. Aiyate... Hey, aren't you by any chance related to that young man running for govener somehow...?"

The young woman smiled wryly, a little embarassed. "Well, yes. He's my housband..."

"He is!?" Sota's Mother jumped in slight joy. "Why, you're a lucky one! I mean, having such an aportant love in your life! You must be rich!" The young lady just avoided the compliment. "Well...Not realy, you see, we're very much poor..."

"Really? How is that?"

"You see, we just got married, not that long ago, and it's very hard. With all the complication and everything..." She poused for a moment. "I just don't think we could make it..."

Mrs. Higurashi then just smiled. "Don't wory, I have faith in you. I think you would make a very nice first lady!" They laughed.

"Yeah, well, I guess you're right..." Mrs. Aiyate then smiled too. She then turned back to Sota. "Now, open wide:"

Kagome just sat there, annoyed. When the Hell was this going to end? I've been here for hours... She moaned.

Just at that moment, she felt a cold hand creep up her shoulder.

"AHHHHH!!!!!!"

"Jeez, calm down Kagome." Said a calm, slightly concerned Hojo.

"Ohh, It's you..." She slumped back into her cumfterble position in her seat.

"You seem paranoid today..."

"Yeah, well, I didn't have the best night's sleep after all..."

"Well, don't wory about it! Come on, I'll treat you to a smoothie down at the malt." He wraped his arm around her shoulder. "Thanks Hojo, I could use something in my stomack by now..." Ofcourse she forgot to get something down at the vending machine this morning and was late at class too. All just because of that unexpected encounter with people whom she had never even seen before. And that's what she was thinking about all day too. How familiar they looked.

After a refreshing few hours at the Malt, Kagome invited Hojo over for dinner. They walked through the park to get to her house. It was nice, it was fall and each tree had a specefic color to them. When they got there, they saw Kagome's Grandfather standing infront of the well reading a list of some sort.

"Hello Grandpa. What are you doing?" She questioned.

"Oh, Hello Kagome! Listen, tomorow I'm going to invite quite a few people over here. Are you okay with that?"

"Yeah, of course! Is it some kind of party?"

He answered back "Not at all. This is more like a gathering. And speaking of, you two are required to come."

Hojo then butted into their conversation "Listen, I'm very buisy, I don't think I could make it-"

"NONSENSE!" Sofu cut the young boy off. "It is required. You have no idea how important this is." The steady old man stated very seriously.

Silence flew over them. Kagome had to say something. "Okay, grandpa. I'll definately be there. Now, me and Hojo have to do some...uh...homework together."

"Alright Alright, I know when I'm not needed..." The geezer whined.

At then, the two young teenagers went inside. And Hojo did stay over for dinner.

The phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Oh, yes. Is there a Miss. Kosune available?"

"Speaking. Who may I ask is this?"

"I am Mr. Higurashi, you should know me. I am the grandfather of a little girl named Kagome whom goes to the school you work at."

"Ah yes, I've heard of her. Is there something the matter with Miss Kagome? You can tell me, I mean, I am a child phyciatrist after all."

"Ohh, heavans no! There is nothing wrong. I just wanted to invite you to a 'party' at the Higurashi residence this beginning this Saturday morning."

"Let's see, let me check my schedual...Ah! yes, I am oped durring those hours."

"Perfect! I will see you then."

"Thank you very much for inviting me. Now if you will excuse me, I have a therapy session with a child."

"Ah, I must get going too, I have a buch of phone calls to make. Bye bye"

"Goodbye."

The beautiful woman with short, jet black hair turned around in her seat to meet eyes with a very small child with bright red hair.

"Now, you must be Shippai, yes?"

The boy sat down and shrugged.

"Well, let us get started then." The woman gave a cheerful smile.

Hello! Don't anyone forget about this fic yet! This is only the very begining, it gets better ^^. I do hope you have figured out all the riencarnations introduced so far. If you haven't, oh well ^^ I promise I will have everybody else in the story by next chapter (And who they really are, too).

Ohh, and for those of you who have read my other fics, I am VERY SORRY. I promise I will update very soon. It's just I have a lot of things goin' on, and the fact I'm a lazzy writer >.<. So, stay tuned for the next exciting chapter, of Belong! (You'll get to read it by sometime next week ^^;;)
