Chapter 7

Kagome sat in her room staring at the cealing wondering what she was going to do. Her mother didn't know about her and Sesshoumaru, and Kagome wasn't sure if she could tell her. She didn't know what her mother would do if she told her that she had slept with Sesshoumaru. It was true that they were officially going out, but when they had slept together they technically weren't. Also her mother only believed in relationships made out of love and she wouldn't believe that Kagome had fallen in love over night.

She sighed, "What am I going to do?"

"About what?"

Kagome jumped up and saw Sango standing in the doorway with a huge smile. "What are you doing here Sango?! I thought you would still be talking to Miroku."

"I did and we cleared things up, so I decided that you needed to explain why you were at Sesshoumaru's house and why he wouldn't let me talk to you." She took a deep breath, "And I brought snacks." She pulled a bag of cookies from behind her back with a smile.

"Okay, I guess I owe you an explanation. Sit down." Kagome scooted over and let Sango sit next to her on the bed. "It was at the party that this started. I was trying to find Inuyasha and I did. He was with this girl Kikyo from school in one of the rooms up stairs having sex. I ran." She smiled sadly, "I ran from the party. I saw Sesshoumaru getting ready to leave and asked him for a ride. He wanted to take me home but I told him no, so he took me to his house. I told him what happened..."

Sango waited for her to continue but she didn't. "What happened Kagome?"

"We had sex Sango. I slept with Sesshoumaru in his bed last night and," She turned to her stunned friend with tears in her eyes, "I don't regret it."

"Of all the people, Sesshoumaru huh?" Sango wiped away Kagome's tears, "I'm not really surprised. You always did have something for Sesshoumaru even if it wasn't love at first, now it is isn't it?"

"Yeah, I do love him." The tears fell faster, "I don't know if I can tell my mom though. She might get disappointed in me. It would hurt but I would give up Sesshoumaru if my mother didn't approve. What do I do?"

She looked into Kagome's eyes, "You need to tell her. You are not one to keep secrets Kagome and this will eat you up until you tell her." Sango sighed, "Your mom has always been understanding, I'm sure this time will be no different."

"Maybe, but what if she doesn't approve?"

"You won't know until you tell her. Does Inuyasha know yet?"

Kagome shook her head, "No. He left before I came down stairs and Sesshoumaru didn't tell him I know that much. I'm not sure I want Inuyasha to know. I know how much he hates Sesshoumaru and if he found out that I'm going out with him he'd flip his lid." She laid back on her bed, "There's no telling what he'd do. He might even go so far as to tell everyone that Sesshoumaru raped me."

Sango sighed, "Inuyasha does go a little to far when it comes to you doesn't he? If I didn't know better I'd say he loved you, but with this Kikyo girl, I don't know. I hear she's a slut that sleeps with anyone rich enough for her tastes."

A knock at the door brought their attention away from the subject. Kagome sat up, "Yeah?"

"Dear Sesshoumaru is on the phone."

Sango and Kagome exchanged a look and Kagome went to the door. She opened it and took the phone from her mom with a smile, "Thanks." When she got back to her bed she sat down with Sango next to her, "Hello?"

"Kagome, there's been an accident."

Panic seized her heart, "What happened?"

"Inuyasha was in a car accident. He dropped Kikyo off and was heading home, he got hit by a truck." There was a pause then, "Inuyasha is hurt pretty bad."

"Oh my god." Tears welled up in Kagome's eyes, "How bad?"

"He broke his arm, his right leg, and he took massive damage to his head. Right now he's in a drug induced comma to keep him from waking up and making the injuries worse." There was talking on the other line. Sesshoumaru said, "You can come down here. Tell Sango to tell Miroku, but to come down tomorrow. Now it's just family."

"Okay, will you come and get me?"

"Yeah, I will be there as soon as I can." He hung up.

Kagome hung up and looked at Sango. "Inuyasha was in a car accident. He's in a comma because his injuries are so bad." She tried to hold back her sobs, but her tears fell unhindered. "Tell Miroku, but you guys can't go down and see him until tomorrow. Sesshoumaru is on his way here right now."

Sango nodded, also with tears in her eyes. She grabbed Kagome's hand, "Tell him if he doesn't make it I will kill him."

She smiled weakly, "Okay I will." Kagome raced down the stairs with Sango on her heels.

Her mother looked at her teary-eyed daughter, "What's wrong?"

"Inuyasha was in a car accident. Sesshoumaru is on his way here to get me and take me down there."

"Alright. I'll say a prayer for him."

"Thank you mom." She hugged her mother and just as she opened the door Sesshoumaru appeared near the stairs.

Sango followed after Kagome, and then after Sesshoumaru as they all descended the stairs. She went to her car as they went to Sesshoumaru's. "Kagome, call me later."

"I will."

Oh my gosh I feel like an idiot! My bad... I don't think anyone noticed it but... In chapter one Sesshoumaru & Inuyasha's father is dead... In the original chapter seven Sesshoumaru tells Kagome that his father in on his way to the hospital... -smashes head into table- I didn't even catch that when I was going over the story... Big thanks to ECMRamos for pointing it out! I owe ya one! Though that was a month ago... I fixed it! Sorry about that!
