InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Betrayed twice (or so he thought) ❯ The Kiss ( Chapter 1 )

A/N- I absolutely LOVE reading inuyasha fanfics and now I'm going to write my own, YAY!, it's my first inufic, so don't kill me if you don't like it

DISCLAIMER- I have no idea why we have to write these as I am new to all this, but oh well, the only things I own are the plot and my own made character that I'll mention in the disclaimers of the later chapters, now you'll just have to guess who it is (smiles mischeiviously)

It started out as a surprisingly calm day, inuyasha and kagome seemed to have reached a truce, kagome was washing in a nearby hot spring while inuyasha sat in a tree, deep in thought. Do you want to know what he was thinking about? SURPRISE! kagome, he was trying to sort out his feelings for her when a scream broke the peace of the forest, Inuyasha, recognizing it as kagome's, rushed to help, but when he got there, it seemed like someone else had already come to the rescue. Kouga was standing with kagome on a cliff above the hot spring and centipede demon's remains, inuyasha was hiding, watching them when kagome gave kouga a kiss on the cheek for saving her.

If he had been someone else, inuyasha would of cried, but inuyasha took it his own unique way, lots of yelling.

inuyasha furiously barged out of the bush, yelling, "you and kikyo are a lot alike, ya know that, kagome, you both won my love, and you both betrayed it, I don't know why I ever let myself get close to you". and flew/leaped back to kaede's hut. kagome, whispering "oh no, oh no, oh no" the whole time, looked back at kouga, who was smirking,....punched him in the face, and ran after inuyasha.

Sango and miroku looked up from their ramen when a very distraught inuyasha stomped in, and automatically assuming kagome was still bathing asked why inuyasha wasn't keeping an eye out for any demons while sitting in his tree. Inuyasha just growled "she's already taken care of", "by who?" sango asked, inuyasha just kept silent sitting in his famous sitting position. Kaede, hearing everything came in and asked the pair "who do ye think?", sango and miroku looked at eachother and chorused, "kouga!"

"What happened, inuyasha?" asked Miroku, Inuyasha said nothing, just sat, until a familiar smell reached him. Inuyasha got up, growling "kagome's scent" and left, leaving a very startled trio in his wake. A few minutes later, a guilty kagome entered the hut, Sango automatically started scolding her, " I know it's hard to tell under his tough exterior, kagome, but inuyasha's heart is broken, you see, he loved you kagome, LOVED you, and I bet he was about to tell you when he saw you with kouga, you can go after him if you like, but it took a while for him to trust anybody, and I bet now it'll be extra hard"

With that said, Sango sat back down to her ramen while kagome rushed out the door to try and find Inuyasha.

A/N so, what do you think? I thought, instead of the whole "kagome sees inuyasha kissing kikyo" kind of story, I'm going for a "inuyasha sees kagome kiss kouga" kind of story. I'll still do another chapter no matter what, but reviews would be greatly appreciated.

the only hint I'll give you is there is a character here that helps inuyasha.....ahem......get over kagome, don't worry, it's NOT kikyo, but she'll turn up in the next chapter probably.
