Getting Closer, Cakes, and Impending Danger
Akira’s eyes widened. “Inutaisho? What are you doing here?” He couldn't help but to wonder why the great dog general was here, and not in their summer castle. Yes, he was aware that Naraku tried to use them against their will as they were revived, but that plan backfired on him quickly.
Inutaisho laughed. “This is my castle, Akira, it will always be. How have you been?” 'Its been quite a while since I've seen the pip. He's grown.' he thought fondly. 'Still, Kagome will take her rightful place as Lady of the Eastern Lands.
Akira’s face went blank for a second, then he smiled at him. “Great! Its good to see you. I have to go. I have to talk to Youko about something.” he murmured, and brushed past him quickly. 'Damnit...why, why, why, why, WHY?! I don't need Inutaisho in my way, that will just make it more difficult. Especially if Midoriko and Hiro find out.' he thought vehemently.
Inutaisho blinked, sensing his apprehension. “I wonder what’s wrong with him?” He shrugged, and walked back into the castle, looking forward to checking on his goddaughter. "She should be okay, Sesshoumaru is with her, is he not?" he murmured to himself, and he tried to convince himself that he wasn't overly worried over the situation revolving around Kagome.
He found his mate holding Kagome with Sesshoumaru watching. As the pain got worse, he saw that she had launched herself into his son’s arms, sobbing. Wrapping his arms around Mira, he sighed softly. “It is possible that if we kill Naraku, the seal will disappear. But it is also possible that it will lie dormant when we finally kill him.” Mira sighed. 'I sure hope so Inu, I really do.'
Kagome sighed softly, nuzzling Sesshoumaru’s neck. “Sesshou…I want a bath.” She said softly, and both Mira and Inutaisho smiled and walked out of the room.
“You know Inu, I think Kagome-chan has the right idea. A bath does sound lovely right now.” she laughed as he chased her to their personal springs, and Youko could only shake his head as they passed him.
“Have fun you two!!” he called out, laughing as he heard Inutaisho chuckle in amusement. He stopped as he noticed Kasumi's scent. "maybe she can tell me where the children are. I can't seem to find them."
Kasumi blinked as she ran into Youko. "O-oh! I'm sorry Youko-sama!!' Youko sighed. "Do you know where the children are? I can't find them anywhere."
Kasumi smiled. "Oh, that's simple. They're drawing in the garden." He nodded, and walked off to the gardens, and she went on her way to the kitchen. 'Shippo did say that Youko-sama would be looking for them....but I wonder what for?'

Nodding, he picked her up and held her closely to him, and sighed as he sat her on the edge of the spring, almost laughing as she grabbed one of his towels and she disappeared behind the shoji screen to disrobe. As she came out, he smirked at her deep blush, and quickly grabbed her feet, pulling her into the deep spring. Spluttering as she was pulled closer to him, she pouted. “SESSHOU!!” she cried out in shock, and he rolled his eyes.
“What’s the matter Kagome? I thought you said you wanted a bath?” She pouted and snuggled against him.
“I do, I just didn’t want to be acquainted with the water so soon.” He chuckled and Kagome sighed, nuzzling his chest. She was so out of it at the moment, she really didn’t care what happened, because she knew that Sesshoumaru would protect her. "Mmm..." Kagome moaned softly, and she purred as Sesshoumaru began to massage her tail at the base. Whimpering his name, she wrapped her arms around him and he stiffened a bit, feeling the softness of her breasts crushing against his chest. "S-Sesshou!" she cried out, and he smiled as he saw her eyes close in bliss.

Her conscious smirked. To make you realize that you want Sesshoumaru. Kagome sighed and rolled her eyes. 'You're a little late. I already realized that I liked Sesshoumaru.' Laughing, her conscious smirked. Kagome really didn't know what was going on. It was like there was a chibi perverted her inside of her head. Of course you like him. I'm you, and I know what you're thinking. And right now, you want to jump Sesshoumaru and have hot, steamy, passionate sex with him. Kagome blushed a deep red. "W-what!! He sighed and nuzzled her neck, breathing in her calming scent, and he relaxed quickly, the stress of the past days melting away. "Hey Sesshou?" Sesshoumaru opened his eyes slightly.
"Hm?" He glanced down at her, wondering what she wanted. He really didn’t' want to move, but if she wanted to go somewhere, he wasn't going to let her go alone.
Kagome smiled up at him. "You want to help me make a cake later? I'm really craving something sweet...." Her lip quivered a bit as she looked at him, and she cheered as he nodded his head. "Vanilla and strawberry?" She suggested and he nodded, smirking before he captured her lips in a sweet, chaste kiss. Smiling, she laughed. "Strawberry and vanilla it is then."
She gasped as she saw the strong look of desire and lust in his eyes, and Sesshoumaru reeled it in quickly, and he kissed her briefly. Whimpering at the loss of his warmth, she pouted as he got out, and he could only laugh as her eyes trailed over his body. licking her lips, she smirked, a bit predatorily. "Mmm...mine all mine." She said, and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around her. He chuckled, and wrapped his arms around her, and Kagome could only snuggle deeper into his embrace and sigh happily.
"Yes, and you're mine" he said, and she yelped as he picked her up quickly, and whisked her to their room. "SESSHOU!!!" she cried out, and she giggled as he as he sped to their room, and he threw her on the bed. Bouncing, Kagome giggled, and Sesshoumaru sat next to her on the bed. "Maybe you should get dressed, staring at your lovely body is getting me thinking of what I could do to you." She gasped, and quickly went to her closet, and she pulled the shoji screen behind her. "Perverted Sesshou..." she muttered, and she scowled as she heard him laugh. You know you wanted to know what he was thinking. Kagome rolled her eyes. 'So? He's still being perverted.' she sighed as she heard her conscious smirked. And your point is? I happen to like him this way. She sighed and grabbed a black and silver summer kimono, and took her time putting on the sapphire blue inner layer. slipping on her kimono, she grabbed the black obi and tied it, and she came out with a smile. Going over to the bed, she grabbed his hand and pulled, grinning as he got up, following her. "C'mon Sesshou!! I want that cake!! and some strawberries..." she said and he chuckled.

Mira smiled as she came to their springs first, and she quickly undressed, slipping into the hot water. "Mmm...C'mon Inu, the water feels great...." She

She gasped as he gave her the puppy dog eyes. "KAWAII!!!" she squealed, and she glomped him, nuzzling the top of his head. "Of course you can Youko-niisan! Oh oops.." she began, and both Youko and Sesshoumaru smiled.
"Its okay, really 'Gome I think of you as the little sister I never had." Kagome's tail wagged happily. She really never thought about it, but to her, both Youko and Kentaru were like two older brothers that she never had. Burying herself against him, she looked down at him with hopeful eyes.
"Really?" he nodded. "YAY!! Lets go make a cake niisan!!' She said, dragging both him and Sesshoumaru to the kitchen, with Shippo and Rin following them. The children were really hyper, and they hoped that the cake would be chocolate and strawberry.
"Hey kaasan, what kind of cake are we making?" Shippo asked curiously. Kaogme smiled and picked him up with her tail, carrying him along with her.
"Strawberry and vanilla....maybe chocolate too if I feel like it." she looked at Youko, and found him drooling a bit. "Niisan, you're drooling." This snapped him out of his sweet induced daze and he shook his head.
"No I'm not." he said, and he pouted as everyone laughed at him. "Hmph. I wasn't drooling." he said softly, and surprisingly, he scooped up Kagome and Shippo, sprinting the rest of the way to the kitchen.
"AIIIEEE!! Niisan!! put me DOWN!! I have legs you know!!" Kagome yelled a bit, and Youko grinned.
"So? I happen to like surprising people." Kagome pouted, and youko laughed. "What's the matter 'Gome? A bit shaken up?"
"Will you let me down?" she asked, gently pulling on one of his fuzzy ears. Smiling evilly, she scratched behind one, and he was reduced to a blissful, purring demon.
"She has you wrapped around her finger Youko." Sesshoumaru said, and chuckled at the scene.
Youko opened his eyes and grinned at Sesshoumaru. "If she has me wrapped around her finger, I'd hate to see what she has you wrapped around Fluffy.
Wait, that would be a bit interesting if you know what I mean." he said laughing, and he was reduced to purring again as Kagome's hands found his soft, fluffy tails.
"Kagome-okaasan, can I pet uncle Youko's tails?" Rin looked at her hopefully. She smiled and motioned for her to sit in her lap.
"Go ahead kiddo." She said softly, and Youko's purr became louder at the soft, persistent stroking.
Shippo wiggled out of her hold and grinned widely as he spotted a huge bowl of strawberries in a bowl full of water. "Kaasan! I found the strawberries!!"
He said happily, and Kagome laughed.
"Yeah, maybe you can find some bowls too? I'll let you and Rin mix the batter." she said, looking up from Youko.
"Youko sighed. "Hey Shippo, toss me a strawberry, would you?" He grinned as he caught the large berry. "Thanks." he said, and popped the berry into his mouth. As he finished, he grinned at his little sister. "They're good. They're going to make a good cake." Kagome smiled and jumped up, grabbing Rin with her tail, and Youko pouted at the loss of her stroking fingers.
"Let's see...." Kagome murmured, and she smiled as she grabbed a large bowl. Setting it on the counter, she rolled up her sleeves and grabbed the flour, two eggs, sugar, salt, the vanilla beans, and some oil. Mixing the right amount of each of the dry ingredients in the bowl, she cracked the two eggs and threw the shells away, then she poured about a third of a cup of oil into the bowl. Grabbing a spoon, she mixed it briefly, and she picked up a small knife, and began to dice the
vanilla beans very finely. Adding them to the batter, she chopped up a good deal of strawberries, and added them to the batter as well. Shippo, who was still on the counter, glanced at Kagome.
"Our turn Kaasan?" he asked hopefully, his little nose twitching at the sweet smell of the batter. Kagome nodded and handed over the bowl to him, and
Rin looked up at Kagome from where she was in her tail, and Kagome sat her on the counter as well. Taking another spoon, Rin began to stir with Shippo, and as they mixed it long enough, Kagome grabbed the bowl, and poured the batter into a pan, she placed the pan over a fire that Sesshoumaru had started.
"Now, all we have to do is wait." Kaogme said, Leaning against Sesshoumaru. Pulling out a deck of cards from her obi, Kagome grinned. "Anyone up for a game of cards?"
"Okay." Came the chorus of most of them, and Sesshoumaru just sat back and watched them.

Akira scowled as he leaned on his bed, and immediately began to curse Naraku to all nine hells. 'Damn him..." He murmured softly, and he scowled darkly. "What am I supposed to do with Inutaisho, Mira, Hiro, and most of all Midoriko here? They never trusted me in the first place. Naraku gave me a fucking fruitless mission. I should just tell them where his damn castle is and be rid of the nuisance once and for all." He whispered softly, and to his shock, he heard Naraku's dark chuckle in the back of his mind.
"So you're trying to deceive me are you? I'll remedy that." Akira shook, and his eyes glazed over. As his new personality took root, he smiled fiendishly.
"Naraku-sama will get his mate Kagome. And Sesshoumaru will die."

She gasped as he gave her the puppy dog eyes. "KAWAII!!!" she squealed, and she glomped him, nuzzling the top of his head. "Of course you can Youko-niisan! Oh oops.." she began, and both Youko and Sesshoumaru smiled.
"Its okay, really 'Gome I think of you as the little sister I never had." Kagome's tail wagged happily. She really never thought about it, but to her, both Youko and Kentaru were like two older brothers that she never had. Burying herself against him, she looked down at him with hopeful eyes.
"Really?" he nodded. "YAY!! Lets go make a cake niisan!!' She said, dragging both him and Sesshoumaru to the kitchen, with Shippo and Rin following them. The children were really hyper, and they hoped that the cake would be chocolate and strawberry.
"Hey kaasan, what kind of cake are we making?" Shippo asked curiously. Kaogme smiled and picked him up with her tail, carrying him along with her.
"Strawberry and vanilla....maybe chocolate too if I feel like it." she looked at Youko, and found him drooling a bit. "Niisan, you're drooling." This snapped him out of his sweet induced daze and he shook his head.
"No I'm not." he said, and he pouted as everyone laughed at him. "Hmph. I wasn't drooling." he said softly, and surprisingly, he scooped up Kagome and Shippo, sprinting the rest of the way to the kitchen.
"AIIIEEE!! Niisan!! put me DOWN!! I have legs you know!!" Kagome yelled a bit, and Youko grinned.
"So? I happen to like surprising people." Kagome pouted, and youko laughed. "What's the matter 'Gome? A bit shaken up?"
"Will you let me down?" she asked, gently pulling on one of his fuzzy ears. Smiling evilly, she scratched behind one, and he was reduced to a blissful, purring demon.
"She has you wrapped around her finger Youko." Sesshoumaru said, and chuckled at the scene.
Youko opened his eyes and grinned at Sesshoumaru. "If she has me wrapped around her finger, I'd hate to see what she has you wrapped around Fluffy.
Wait, that would be a bit interesting if you know what I mean." he said laughing, and he was reduced to purring again as Kagome's hands found his soft, fluffy tails.
"Kagome-okaasan, can I pet uncle Youko's tails?" Rin looked at her hopefully. She smiled and motioned for her to sit in her lap.
"Go ahead kiddo." She said softly, and Youko's purr became louder at the soft, persistent stroking.
Shippo wiggled out of her hold and grinned widely as he spotted a huge bowl of strawberries in a bowl full of water. "Kaasan! I found the strawberries!!"
He said happily, and Kagome laughed.
"Yeah, maybe you can find some bowls too? I'll let you and Rin mix the batter." she said, looking up from Youko.
"Youko sighed. "Hey Shippo, toss me a strawberry, would you?" He grinned as he caught the large berry. "Thanks." he said, and popped the berry into his mouth. As he finished, he grinned at his little sister. "They're good. They're going to make a good cake." Kagome smiled and jumped up, grabbing Rin with her tail, and Youko pouted at the loss of her stroking fingers.
"Let's see...." Kagome murmured, and she smiled as she grabbed a large bowl. Setting it on the counter, she rolled up her sleeves and grabbed the flour, two eggs, sugar, salt, the vanilla beans, and some oil. Mixing the right amount of each of the dry ingredients in the bowl, she cracked the two eggs and threw the shells away, then she poured about a third of a cup of oil into the bowl. Grabbing a spoon, she mixed it briefly, and she picked up a small knife, and began to dice the
vanilla beans very finely. Adding them to the batter, she chopped up a good deal of strawberries, and added them to the batter as well. Shippo, who was still on the counter, glanced at Kagome.
"Our turn Kaasan?" he asked hopefully, his little nose twitching at the sweet smell of the batter. Kagome nodded and handed over the bowl to him, and
Rin looked up at Kagome from where she was in her tail, and Kagome sat her on the counter as well. Taking another spoon, Rin began to stir with Shippo, and as they mixed it long enough, Kagome grabbed the bowl, and poured the batter into a pan, she placed the pan over a fire that Sesshoumaru had started.
"Now, all we have to do is wait." Kaogme said, Leaning against Sesshoumaru. Pulling out a deck of cards from her obi, Kagome grinned. "Anyone up for a game of cards?"
"Okay." Came the chorus of most of them, and Sesshoumaru just sat back and watched them.

Akira scowled as he leaned on his bed, and immediately began to curse Naraku to all nine hells. 'Damn him..." He murmured softly, and he scowled darkly. "What am I supposed to do with Inutaisho, Mira, Hiro, and most of all Midoriko here? They never trusted me in the first place. Naraku gave me a fucking fruitless mission. I should just tell them where his damn castle is and be rid of the nuisance once and for all." He whispered softly, and to his shock, he heard Naraku's dark chuckle in the back of his mind.
"So you're trying to deceive me are you? I'll remedy that." Akira shook, and his eyes glazed over. As his new personality took root, he smiled fiendishly.
"Naraku-sama will get his mate Kagome. And Sesshoumaru will die."
