Kagome finally decided to open her eyes, after the conversation she just herd, she didn't know if she ever wanted to open her eyes again.

FLASH BACK

 

"Mr...Yasha? is it?" questioned a male voice.

'That's probably the doctor' Kagone thought.

"Inuyasha is fine" Inuyasha said "So, how is she?, and the rest of her family?"

"Well, she is resting comfortably now, her body is starting to begin the healing process, she will need alot of physical therapy if she ever wants to walk on her own again" Kogame listined,trying not to alert anyone that she was awake. She wanted to hear more. She could hear Inuyasha curse under his breath.

"And her family," Kagome waied with baited breath, did they all make it? Where they o.k.? The doctor continued, "The mother was in stable condition and released, as well as the grandfather. But the boy-" Kagome's heart raced,

'What?What? is Souta o.k.?? is he hurt?? ohhh... this is all my falt, I should have never come home...'

"The boy will remain in the psyatric ward for observation, he dosen't seem to be hurt, but he acts like he has faced severe mental truma."

Suddenly a surge of pain hit Kagome, like water crashing on a shore. "Gggguuuuuaaaaaaaaa!" she cried out. She just wanted it to go away...go back to the way things were. Before she met her father. She should of tooken Inuyasha as a mate, and had pups, but now, everything was messed up. All because of him. And not just her life, her little brother, the one she held in her arms, and protected sience birth, was now in a mental facilicity. "Danmit, DAMNIT ALL!" And she began to cry once again.

Inuyasha rushed over to her, he couldn't stand it, why did this have to happen to her? To him? He wraped his arms around Kagome's pillow. "Kagome, its gonna be o.k. I'm here shhhhhh... I'm here, it's gonna be alright now..."

And with that the nurse went over tto Kagome's IV and pushed a button, soon Kagome was asleep in his arms. He held her close and kissed the top of her head. And he took a vow, that whatever happend after this, he would always protect her. Nothing would ever hurt her again. And from now on, she was his.
