BLACKOUT
and those eyes are raging
He took a step toward her, flicking his wrist so that his eerily long claws caught the dim light. Shadow cast along her once rosy face, now colorless. They were sharp. A little dagger on the tip of each tan, slender finger.
She blinked a few tears from her eyes. She would not show fear.
raging; their own fire
Hatred. Lust. Jealousy.
He grabbed her wrist and yanked her forward, and she swallowed, trying to take back her breath, and her courage. She made the mistake of looking him in the eye.
Her eyes, so lovely and blue and alive, belied her brave face. He felt stronger knowing that she was at his mercy. One claw moved slowly up and down the arch of her throat, gentle and threatening.
anger brings us to desire
He could've torn her throat open then, and let her innocent blood cover his hands. He could've torn it out. Pulled from her neck the cords that allowed her to speak, sweet, sweet voice. The words that he'd believed, once. He could have silenced her forever.
But he couldn't.
What a waste of beauty.
"You little whore," he whispered, his own voice faltering. "You liar. You wench."
He pulled her into a crushing kiss, hands caught up in her hair, claws digging into the back of her head.
Spikes of blood met falls of raven hair. "You are mine."
what it is that will nd this, this curse and this misfortune
She had to keep telling herself that soon she'd be rescued.
InuYasha would find her. Once again, he'd prove to be her savior. Perhaps she hoped in vain.
is the goodbye kiss..
Kouga tore open her blouse, and she whimpered.
This wasn't happening. It couldn't be happening. Not here, in some isolated cave, with a wolf- demon driven to madness. To murder. Not there. She silently prayed for InuYasha and her friends to come.
But would they come too late? Would her first kiss with the one she truly loved be one of passion, and sorrow, of his lving mouth against hers-- cold and dead at the hands of Kouga?
the inevitable downfall of us
One hand slid up her stomach.
She'd be dirty, tainted for her one true love. He wouldn't want her anymore.
She would be broken and used. She wouldn't be good enough.
and those eyes are open, bleeding liquid fire
He threw her against the floor as she cried out, and the tears came streaming.
One fleeting glance to the open doorway. No one had come to save her.
And no one could hear her screaming!
what once was trust is now desire
She'd never dreamed it could come to this. . .
what it is that will tell me it's over at last
And he hurt her again and again. . .
is the goodbye kiss
A red shape filled the doorway, indistinct, blurred by her tears.
Kouga looked up and growled in fury. "YOU!" He hissed, eyes narrowed.
He dug his claws into her chest. "Take another step, and I'll kill her." Her breath caught in her throat. Would InuYasha ` take the risk, would he fight? Or would he hesitate for her safety?
Don't hesitate, she pleaded silently. Please.
the inevitable blackened memory
InuYasha ran at him, sword raised. Kouga smirked and lifted a clawed hand-- she froze in terror.
Blood splattered the cave wall.
Lights out.
