Chapter 4 (They will meet finally!)

 

Sango and Kagome arrived and asked if the boys were there yet. The waiter remembered Inuyasha and pointed them towards the table. “Kag, I forgot to tell you. Inuyasha is a dog demon. I didn't mean to hit you with that, but it slipped my mind, I am just so used to him.”

 

“I have never met a demon before.” Kagome said with a thoughtful look on her face.

 

“Just remember, that all demons are not like him, thank God. He is one in a million. Ah, there they are. Miroku!” Sango practically screamed and waved to a boy with black hair. But the one that caught her eye was the other one, the one with long white hair, deep amber eyes, and two adorable dog-ears on his head.

 

“Holy crap!” Kagome swore under her breath (GOD! Inu is soooo hott! I would jump him if I ever saw him…all you fan girls you know you would too…). Inuyasha heard this and gave her a dead sexy smile, and she almost fainted. When Kagome looked at Sango grinning at her she elbowed her and said. “Shut up San.” She said as they sat down at the table. Sango pushed Kagome next to Inuyasha and she sat next to Miroku. “You must be Miroku! I am so happy to meet you!” she squealed shaking his hand, completely forgetting Inuyasha. He, however, was not too pleased.

 

“So, you are Kag.” Inuyasha said, smirking when she blushed, remembering his closeness (especially because he moved closer when she wasn't looking, so their legs were touching).

 

“Yeah, you must be Inuyasha. Can I call you Yash?” she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly while waiting for the answer.

 

“If I can kiss you.” He replied arrogantly.

 

“OK!” she said happily. He smirked and leaned in when she put her hand on his chest pushing him back. `He must work out, damn!' she thought. “What are you doing?”

 

“You said I could kiss you.”

 

“Yes, but you failed to specify when and where.”

 

“Where and when can I kiss you?” he asked, sighing in slight annoyance.

 

“You can kiss my ass whenever the hell you want.” She replied sweetly, batting her eyelashes for effect. Sango and Miroku burst into laughter, while Inuyasha just looked shocked.

 

He quickly recovered, saying, “Really? What if I want to do it now?” She just smiled at him and laughed with the other two. `She really has changed. I think I like her better this way, although I may just be saying that because I can never have the old Kagome back.' Then, he grabbed her hand and pressed a kiss to her palm, smirking yet again when he heard her sharp intake of breath. “I think that was better than your ass for both of us, although I can think of better things to do to you when you have your pants down.” He winked at her, and she blushed again.

 

“Yeah, dream on Yash.” She smiled and began talking to Sango about what movies were out. Miroku gave Inuyasha knowing grin and he nodded. While Kagome and Inuyasha were talking, Miroku had written a note to Sango. When she opened it, it read:

 

My Lovely Sango,

I was thinking that you and I might have to accidentally leave early, leaving Inuyasha to give Kagome a ride home. He rode his bike, and this would be good `bonding' time for them. After they leave, I can pick up my bike and meet up with you.

 

Sango smiled to signal her consent. After they finished their food, Sango turned to Kagome and said, “Kag, did you still want to see `Seven' (lets pretend that this movie, which I love, is out in the theaters, shall we)?”

 

“Yeah! You are still coming with me, right?” she asked, tearing her gaze away from Inuyasha.

 

“That's why I brought it up. Miroku needs my help babysitting his next-door neighbor. She is a little girl, and he is not great with kids. But since we already got the tickets, I was thinking you could see it with Inuyasha. He wanted to see that one too.” She gave Inuyasha a look, and he knew what they were doing.

 

“OK, I guess, if you don't mind Yash.” She said looking at him.

 

“Not at all, in fact I-”

 

“Excellent! We have to be going now. I will pay, because I am the one that stole the Lovely Sango from you Kagome.” Miroku interrupted Inuyasha before he could say something stupid and bowed to Kagome. She laughed.

 

“Why does this feel like a set up?” she asked Sango, with a look that promised revenge in her eyes.

 

“I have no idea what you are talking about Kag.” Sango tried to hide her giggle. “Yash can give you a ride. Lets go Miroku!” she grabbed him and they flew out the door.

 

“You know, you don't have to go if you don't want to.” Kagome said to him, filling the awkward silence.

 

“But I do. As Sango said, I have been wanting to see this movie, and now, I get to go with a beautiful woman who hopefully will be getting scared frequently and grabbing onto me to make herself feel better.” He gave her that heart-melting smile again, and she blushed.

 

“OK, lets go.” She said, and they got up and headed outside.

 

“I drove my baby here.” He said pointing to the red motorcycle. She looked at it with huge eyes. “What” he asked.

 

“It is so cool!” she said and began hopping around it anime style with a huge grin on her face.

 

“I like a woman who appreciates a fast ride.”

 

“I do! I absolutely love them! The color is so awesome!”

 

“I wasn't talking about the motorcycle, love.” He grinned.

 

“Pervert.” She gently smacked his chest and he grabbed her hand and pulled her flush against him.

 

“What of it?” he asked before his lips crashed down onto hers. His lips moved feverishly across hers and he groaned when he felt her slowly respond. He ran his hand across the inch of skin of her back that was between where her shirt ended and pants began. When she gasped, he took that opportunity to slip his tongue past her lips. They began their battle for dominance and he was mildly shocked when she didn't back down like she used to. He brought his hand to her stomach and began massaging his way to her chest when she pulled away, breathless. “There, I got my kiss.”

 

“Yeah, I guess you did.” She said, still panting. She looked up and saw that a lot of people were watching them and blushed as she hid her face in his chest.

 

“You blush a lot, don't you?” he asked smugly

 

“It is your fault.” She said. He still heard it, even though his chest muffled it.

 

“Lets go, Love.” He said, handing her a white helmet, while grabbing his black one.

 

“Love?” she asked him.

 

“What of it? You call me Yash, I should get to call you something too.”

 

“But what do I get if I let you call me that?”

 

“This.” He brushed his lips against hers, mentally smiling when she whimpered as he pulled away. “And maybe more tonight.” He winked.

 

“That's OK, I'm good.” She said, her legs slightly shaking.

 

“Great, Love, lets go.” She walked right into that one. They then got onto his Motorcycle. “Hold on tight.” As she did, he thought to himself, `I missed having her this close' as they drove to the theaters and when they got there, he helped her off. Inuyasha grabbed her and slipped his hand around her waist.

 

AFTER THE MOVIE

“That was so good! Wasn't it Yash?” Kagome smiled at him.

 

As he was about to respond, he heard a voice behind him. “Inuyasha” It stated, making the word its self sound like a curse. Kagome turned around and saw another man with long white hair who looked like Inuyasha, but more serious and without the ears.

 

“Sess, I'd be lying if I said that it is good to see you.” Inuyasha growled.

 

“Is this your Bitch?” He asked coolly

 

“Hi, I'm Rin.” The girl behind Sess held out her hand towards Kagome.

 

“Kagome.” She said, shaking it.

 

“Are you and Inuyasha dating?” Rin asked.

 

“Yes.” Inuyasha replied before Kagome could say anything, and pulled her in front of him, hugging her from behind.

 

“Why did you call me a bitch?” Kagome asked Sess curiously.

 

“My dear little girl, my brother and I are Dog Demons. Think, what is a bitch, really.”

 

“A female dog…” she replied, still looking at him with a clueless expression on her face.

 

“And…” he paused. When she didn't respond, he added, “Because we are dog demons, we call our mates and future mates `bitch,' because that is how we see them.” He finished as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

 

“Mate?” she asked

 

“Now that I will leave to my little brother to explain.” Sess said, looking slightly shaken and shocked at her lack of knowledge (although you could barley tell). “Rin, lets go.” He said turning away.

 

“Bye Kag! Do you know San?” Rin asked.

 

“Yeah! That's what I call her, and that's what she calls me. That is weird.”

 

“You should come over to my house tomorrow. San can take you. I am having a sleepover!”

 

“Sure Rin, sounds like fun!”

 

“See ya tomorrow!”

 

“Bye!” When they left, she turned to Inuyasha. “Yash, what is a mate? I mean, does it just mean like, a fuck buddy or something?”

 

“God no! It is, well… I will tell you later. You don't need to know yet. Come on, I'll take you home.” They got on his Motorcycle, and Kagome led him to her house. He then flipped out his cell phone and told her to do the same. “Switch phones. I'll put my number in yours, and you put yours in mine.” They switched back and Kagome grabbed his shirt, as he was about to leave.

 

“Why did you tell Rin that we were dating?” she asked him.

 

He turned slightly red, but replied, “Do you not want to go out with me?”

 

“It is not that, but-”

 

“See! There you go!” he said. “Now it is official.”

 

“OK, but I don't know you!” she finished.

 

“Well, you can get to know me! I'll call you later, count on it.” He said, kissing her again, but this time is was sweet, and light. As he began to pull away, she grabbed him and pulled him closer, kissing him again. He deepened it before pulling away. “We will have more time for that later.” He said winking. “Bye Love.”

 

A/N - If anyone is wondering why Inuyasha and Kagome are moving fast it is because he is still in love with her, and she feels like she knows him, although she hasn't said anything. I may make that into part of the story, or you may end up taking my word for it. But there is a connection between them. Remember they WERE mates…
