Chapter 10

 

“Oh, that.” Kagome said, trying to make it into less of a deal.

 

“I almost forgot about that!” Rin exclaimed.

 

“Well, when Yash was driving me home, that guy stopped us and Yash told him I as his fiancée. He said that he thought that I would get mad if he said that I was his wife or mate because it is not true yet, at least in this time.” Kagome finished and waited for reactions.

 

“I can't believe that he was actually considering someone else's feelings!” Sango squealed.

 

“And he said `yet!' How cute!” Rin added.

 

“Oh wow! Look, we are here!” Kagome said, glad that they had arrived at the club.

 

“Time for fun!” Rin yelled as they parked the cars and walked to the entrance. The bouncer gave them one look and instantly let them in.

 

“Talk about service.” Kagome whispered to Sango.

 

“Duh! Our boys are hotshots.” Sango replied.

 

“Lets dance!” Rin shouted, grabbing them and yanking them towards the dance floor. The three girls began to dance together, oblivious to the dozens of eyes on them. After a while, they went to the bar to get something to drink.

 

“Nice to see you again, Rin. Sango. Who is your friend?” the bartender asked.

 

“This is Kagome. She is Inuyasha's fiancée.” Rin said, stressing the word `fiancée' while Sango snorted. The bartender glanced at Sango then back at Rin, as if asking what was so funny. “Just a joke between us. Now give me a-”

 

The bartender cut her off. “You know that I can't give you anything. Sessomaru would KILL me if I allowed you to get drunk.”

 

“Fine. Three waters.” Sango cut in.

 

“Coming up.”

 

They drank and returned to the floor. None of the guys asked Rin or Sango to dance, knowing who they were `with,' but no one knew Kagome. “Hey babe, wanna get a room?” some lowlife asked.

 

 

 

“Inuyasha, what do you want to do? I am bored.” Miroku whined.

 

“I don't kn-” Inuyasha was cut off by the phone ringing. “What.” He answered.

 

“I am sorry, sir. It is Aaron Evans. I just wanted to apologize again for what happened tonight. I can assure you, nothing like that will ever happen again. The entire force knows who your fiancée is.” Aaron said.

 

“What happened?” Inuyasha asked, his voice deadly.

 

“I thought she told you.” Aaron proceeded to give Inuyasha a detailed account of everything that happened (not a good idea).

 

“I will fucking KILL him!” He roared into the phone. “Where did she go?”

 

“I think that she and Miss Sango and Mrs. Rin were headed to a club. They were certainly dressed for one.”

 

“Thanks.” He replied gruffly as he hung up and dialed another number.

 

“What is it, brother?” Sess's voice said through the receiver.

 

“Get over here, now.” He replied urgently.

 

“Be over in five, but this better be good.”

 

“What happened Inuyasha?” Miroku asked, as Inuyasha closed his cell.

 

“We have a problem. I will tell you when Sess gets here.”

 

When Sess arrived, Inuyasha told them the same thing that Aaron had told him. “We need to go to the club, now.” Sess said. The tow boys nodded, silently agreeing with him. Inuyasha and Miroku jumped into Sess's car as they sped to the club. They got there and raced through the door, the bouncer, noticing their mood, jumped out of the way. They looked around, and saw the girls.

 

Inuyasha walked over to Kagome with Sess and Miroku close behind and heard the man say, “Hey babe, wanna get a room?” His eyes turned red and he was about to kill the man when Kagome replied.

 

“Fuck off, ass whole.” Inuyasha stopped and waited to see what would happen.

 

“No one talks to me like that!” the man said, and grabbed her arm. When he touched her, however, Inuyasha appeared and threw him off of her. “Who the fuck are you?” the man asked, getting off the floor.

 

“Don't touch my mate.” Inuyasha said darkly, his eyes still red.

 

The man's friends, seeing what was happening, and recognizing Inuyasha, ran over and grabbed him and pulled him away. “Sorry, Sir, he didn't know.” They said before running off. The boys grabbed them and walked outside. Each boy walked a few feet away from each other in order to yell at their girls.

 

 

“Sango-” Miroku began.

 

“Shut up!” Sango shouted at him. “What do you think you were doing? I can't believe that you guys showed up here!”

 

“Sango, Angle, Sweetie Pie…”

 

“Don't do that.”

 

“We were just worried about you. After the call that Inuyasha got, we didn't know what to think.”

 

“What call?”

 

“Aaron Evans called. He told us what happened when you got pulled over. I can't believe that Inuyasha let him live.”

 

“He was probably too pissed that Kagome left without him. You know how Demons get, and Dog Demos are some of the most possessive. Especially since Inuyasha hasn't mated with Kag yet.”

 

“Darling Sango, I…” he paused, his voice becoming more serious. “I… Please, take me with you next time. I know that it is not a big deal, and that you can take care of yourself but I worry about you.”

 

“OK, I'll let you tag along.” She smiled and leaned in to kiss him when she felt something groping her ass. “Pervert!” she went to slap him, but he grabbed her arm and pulled against him.

 

“Forgive me, I could not resist. You look so good in those shorts. It has a mind of its own.” He said, holding his hand up as if it was the real culprit. She smiled at him. He kissed her deeply and grabbed her arm. “Lets go. We can stray at Sess's house. They aren't using the East wing.”

 

“Why don't we just go home?”

 

“Inuyasha and Kagome will probably be… You know… I'll call Rin and ask her.” He said as they got into the Jeep.

 

 

 

“Rin. What were you doing here?” Sess asked her, his voice very calm and deadly. It was obvious to the girls that the boys were beyond pissed.

 

“We just wanted to have a girls night out. We didn't mean anything by it.” She replied with her head down.

 

“You should have known what would happed. I cannot believe that you would be so irresponsible. You know better. Or at least I thought you did. You are going to be punished.”

 

“WHAT! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! WE WERE JUST HAVING FUN!”

 

“Rin, do not raise your voice at your mate.” Rin glared in reply. “We are going home now. You are going to know your place at the end of the night.”

 

Rin smirked at this, knowing what he had in mind. “I already know where I will be.” Sess's eyebrow rose at this. “On top.”

 

“We will see.” There was a pause as he got into his car. “If you EVER do something like this, you will not get off as easily.” He said darkly.

 

“I promise, Sess. The next time I wanna go clubbin' you are coming with me.” She kissed him. “Lets go home, OK?” Sess opened her door and then he got in and drove away. Then, Rin's cell rang. “Yeah?”

 

“Rin, its Miroku.”

 

“Hey, what's up?”

 

“I was wondering if Sango and I could stay in the East wing tonight.”

 

“Sure, but why?”

 

“Well, you know that we live with Inuyasha because we didn't want to leave him alone, and we think that they might want to be alone tonight, if you catch my drift.”

 

“Oh!” Rin giggled. “Sure, my house is your house! You know where the key is, just don't bother us.”

 

“Wouldn't dream of it.”

 

Rin hung up the phone. “Sess, Miroku and San are staying in the East wing tonight, K?”

 

“As long as they don't bother us.”

 

“Don't worry, Sessy.”

 

“I told you not to call me that.”

 

“No, you said not to call you that in public.” He sighed. There was no way he was going to win this one.
