The next day was long and tiring for all of the group of three that were in the study the night before, new clothes, new shoes, new books, new bags, you name it they needed a new one. Cassia was moaning that she wasn't allowed anything and as soon as her mother said that she could have something after Mike and Kagome were done Steve put his foot down:

“She shall have NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING until the winter because there is a holiday but until then NOTHING!!!” and his word was final even though Cassia cried and Tessa begged nothing could make him change his mind.

He was after all a very stubborn man.

At 1pm the sat down for lunch in a fast food restaurant and had a round of burgers and fries. Apart from Cassia and Tessa who had gone home for lunch, a salad the poor things.

 

When they had done all of their shopping Kagome saw a boy, no not a boy a man, he was gorgeous, long black hair and crystal like blue eyes. He father saw what, or rather who, she was looking at and said;

“That is one of the Easterners sons, Kouga, he has two others, Kougas brothers, both from different mothers but more like him their names are Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. Never, ever talk to him do you understand?!”

“Yes, Papa.”

 

Kouga was looking for something, he wasn't sure what but he was looking for it. Then he saw it, in a form the most beautiful woman, in his eyes, on the earth.

He didn't know it yet but her name was Kagome, and a westerner there was still hope as they would go to the same school but all this he didn't know yet.

 

He over heard part of the conversation she was having with an older man presumably her father.

 

“That is one of the Easterners…… Kouga……. Brothers…..Inuyasha……… Sesshoumaru… Never, ever talk to him…”

“Yes, Papa.”

It wasn't the fact that the old man knew his name or his half brothers or even the fact that he knew he was an Easterner that startled him.

 

No, it was her voice.
