InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Blessed Curse ❯ The Advice ( Chapter 6 )
~Blessed Curse~
By: Youkai Yume
Hmmmm, do I really have time to write this? (sigh) No, no I don't. (groan) The show must go on! I must admit that I feel somewhat depressed now, after reading Napea's "Mesmerize Me," which is another Beauty and the Beast fic starring Kag/Sess. It's not fair! Hers is soooo much better! (sniff) Now I'll spend the rest of the time wondering how I'm supposed to manage without making it seem like her fic! I'm so confused! Arg! BTW, I apologize if Sess seems a bit OOC, but you must remember to take into account that he is half demon now, which means he will be more in touch with his emotions. `Kay? ^_^
Disclaimer: Me. No. Own. Inuyasha.
Act 6: The Advice
Her grip on the blanket tightened, and she buried herself deeper into the pillow. Hoping against hope that somehow she could be brought out of this mess, and of not having to face Sesshomaru once more. Dinner, he had invited-well commanded her really, to dinner. The thought of having to dine with the cold demon lord was less than appealing, and she definitely didn't want to go. Even if it meant starving herself.
She lifted her tearstained face to look out at the window, where the moon hung in the dark night. Kagome couldn't help but notice that what seemed to be sparkling silver stars falling gracefully from the sky, creating a fluffy white blanket upon the castle grounds below. It had begun to snow. She shivered slightly. Well, now that she had realize it, the room was getting a little cold as well. She glanced over to the fireplace, which remained dark and empty without the presence of a warm fire.
She looked down at her school uniform. `And these aren't exactly the best clothes for winter.' Hugging herself for a bit of warmth, she jumped slightly when she heard a knock coming from her door. Kagome stiffened. What if that was Sesshomaru? Gods, she didn't want to face him now! Secretly, she wanted to shrink and fade into oblivion, but settled with ignoring the knock. After a minute or two, the knock came again, and this time, she chose to answer.
"W-who is it?" Kagome's voice came out to be shaky and nervous.
"Um. . .Rin! Can Rin come in?" Was the response. Kagome got up to her feet, it sounded like a little girl! But what's a child doing in a place like this. `Maybe another prisoner of Sesshomaru's, she concluded. But to be honest, she was just so relieved it wasn't Sesshomaru that she could care less if her visitor was Jaken! Getting up, she walked briskly to the door to greet this Rin.
Kagome was totally surprised with her visitor, however, when she looked down to see a little girl of about six or seven, wearing the biggest toothy grin ever. She couldn't help but smile, she was adorable!
"Hi! Rin wanted to see pretty lady! Can Rin come in and play?" Kagome giggled at the child's statement, and was about to let her in when an aged cat youkai came and took the little girl by the hand. Surprised, she looked at her curiously as the cat youkai bowed apologetically.
"Forgive me, milady, but Rin insisted on coming here to see you, and I'm afraid I wasn't able to stop her before she took off looking for you." She explained. "I'm sorry if she was bothering you." Kagome waved the apology aside, smiling warmly.
"Oh, she's not bothering me! In fact, I'm more than thrilled to see her! She's welcome to stay, um. . .I'm sorry, you are. . ?"
"Nira, milady. I am one of the servants here, and my main job is to look after Rin," she placed a hand on the still smiling girl's little shoulders. Kagome nodded.
"And my name is Kagome, just Kagome, so you can just drop the `milady' stuff. It makes me feel weird," she insisted. Nira could only shake her head.
"You are a guest here, milady, it is only proper to show you repect," shrugging the matter off, she turned her attention once more on the bouncing Rin. Kagome smiled.
"Why don't you both come in? Please?" Kagome asked, almost pleading for the chance for some friendly company. She held her breath when she saw reluctance flash across Nira's eyes, and could tell Rin was too. After a moment, the cat youkai nodded, causing both Kagome and Rin to cheer, "Yay!" and laughing lightly at this, released the child's hand as she ran inside Kagome's room, dancing around in circles.
Upon arriving, Nira shivered from the cool air.
"Why is it so cold in here? We can't have you stay in such an uncomfortable state!" Nira exclaimed at the ludicrous idea, and with the wave of her hand, a fire from seemingly out of nowhere manifested itself inside the hearth. Sighing a bit in relief at the immediate change in room temperature, Kagome thanked her, and took a seat on her futon.
"Hehe! Rin is so happy Kagome-neesan's here! Rin was beginning to get lonely! Kagome-neesan will be Rin's friend, right?" She had stopped her ecstatic dancing to look pleadingly into Kagome's sapphire eyes. The young miko giggled sweetly at the gesture.
"Of course, Rin-chan!" She answered, and a look came over her face as her mind suddenly wandered to another thought. "Ano, Rin, were you captured by Sesshomaru as well?" She asked, her tone gentle.
At hearing this, Rin looked confusedly up at the older girl.
"Captured? No, Rin followed Sesshomaru-sama!" She explained brightly, causing Kagome to widen her eyes in surprise. `Why would anyone---especially a little girl, follow Sesshomaru willingly?' She glanced over to where Nira sat for reassurance, and the aged cat youkai nodded in confirmation. Confused as ever, Kagome turned back to the little girl.
"But why?"
"Because Sesshomaru-sama saved Rin from mean wolves, and Rin has followed Sesshomaru-sama ever since!" Kagome ran her fingers through the little girl's dark locks, still not quite believing it.
"But doesn't he mind?"
"Sesshomaru-sama never said anything about Rin being annoying. Sesshomaru-sama protects Rin! And Rin is very happy to be with Sesshomaru-sama!" At hearing this, Kagome froze in complete shock. Sesshomaru had saved a human child, and now protects and cares for her! Like a father? Which meant that Rin wasn't a fellow prisoner like she had suspected, which she was silently glad, seeing as she probably would've disliked the demon lord even more if he were to do so.
Still, Kagome felt like she had just entered the twilight zone or something. `Perhaps Sesshomaru isn't the completely heartless demon lord I perceived him to be. . .' A light tap on the shoulders brought her out of her thoughts, and she turned to face the cat youkai that was observing at her with interest.
"Gomen, milady, but you still look a bit pale. Would you like some tea?" Nira offered kindly. Still a bit zoned out, Kagome nodded numbly at her, and with a snap of her slender fingers, stout little raccoon youkais appeared carrying a tray of tea. Then, just as quickly, they bowed and disappeared. "Help yourself, milady."
Kagome had never realized her throat was so parched until now, and she readily took the china cup in her hands, sipping the warm liquid. All the while, she was watching Rin as she examined the room-every nook and cranny of it.
"She was not lying," Kagome turned in the direction of the voice, lowering her cup. "Rin speaks of the truth. Sesshomaru-sama DID save her from a pack of wolves, and he IS protecting and caring for Rin," Nira said gently to Kagome.
"No, I didn't think she was, afterall, children are usually brutally honest," was her reply. Nira gazed at the miko beside her, and smiled. "But I have to admit, it sounds pretty farfetched! I mean, Sesshomaru, saving a human child!" Kagome laughed lightly, "But who knows. . .people change, even the most unlikely."
Just then, another knock could be heard from the door, causing everyone to jump in surprise. Once again, the fear and anticipation came to her, in the circumstances that it might be Sesshomaru. But she was calmed when Nira placed a comforting hand on her tense shoulder. Nodding towards her, Kagome asked for the person's name.
"My name is Kotori, I'm the dress maker of the castle," was the response. Relief washed over her, as she let out a sigh and got to her feet.
"Come in!" Kagome said in a polite tone, approaching the door to greet this Kotori when she came in. The screen door slid open, and in stepped a young lynx youkai. She had a nice brown coat with little spots here and there, and her long chocolate brown hair was done in an elegant braid. She had sparkling green eyes, which shone with her energy and mirth. Kagome estimated her to be as old as Sango, in youkia years of course.
"Konbanwa, milady," she greeted, bowing her head respectfully. Somewhat taken back with the formality, Kagome bowed in response as well.
"Konbanwa, um. . .Kotori, was it?" the youkai in question smiled at the mention of her name, her eyes sparkling in mirth. Smiling back, Kagome gestured for her to sit down, which she refused. Kotori also bowed to Nira and Rin nearby as well, before turning her atteniton back to Kagome.
"Ano, can I help you with something?" She asked cautiously. The servant smiled and pulled out a folded package, which Kagome recognized to be an elegant kimono.
"Sesshomaru-sama sent me here to prepare you for tonight's meal," Kagome's face faulted, and Nira took this as a cue to leave them alone.
"Come, Rin-san, let's go, Kagome-sama is busy right now," Taking the child by the hand, Rin whined a bit, but complied, following the aged cat youkai out of the room. Kagome almost made a move to ask them to stay for a little longer, but thought better of it. As the screen door slid shut, the miko averted her gaze back to the lynx demoness before her.
"Ano. . .what preparations?" Kagome asked, getting back to the subject as if the interruption wasn't made at all. At the mention of the topic, Kotori's eyes sparkled, and unfolded the package, which was indeed a kimono.
Kagome couldn't help but gasp at its' beauty. It was an elegant midnight blue kimono, embroidered with elaborate decorations of sakura blossoms and butterflies here and there. She reached out to touch it, her fingertips dancing over the fine, silk fabric.
"For me?" Kagome asked timidly. Kotori nodded enthusiastically as Kagome took the kimono in her arms, pressing it against her form in front of a mirror to see how it might look on her. Kotori beamed.
"It's one of the finest that I've made! I'm personally proud of the intricate sakura patterns, and that color truly brings out your eyes, and---" Kotori continued to gush in an excited manner over the kimono while Kagome continued to examine herself in the mirror. After a while, she lowered the piece of clothing, looking at her feet. Kotori immediately took notice of the look of displeasure on Kagome's face, and quieted.
"Milady, what's wrong? Don't you like it?" She asked, slightly disappointed that she didn't enjoy the gift as she had hoped. But Kagome immediately shook her head, dismissing the notion entirely.
"No! It's not that! I think it's lovely. . .it's just that, I don't think I can accept such a gift. . .besides, this looks like it's for a princess, not for someone like me. . ."
"Nonsense!" Kotori exclaimed. "You're beautiful! But if you feel like it wouldn't suit you, then there are other kimonos to choose from!" Before Kagome could stop the demoness, she had sped over to the furnished cabinet and opened it, revealing a whole wardrobe full of beautiful kimonos.
"Ano, Kotori-san, I---"
"How about this one? Or this one? This one is especially pretty!" Kotori pulled out kimono after kimono, eyes glinting with excitement, almost like a child about to play dress up. But the young miko merely refused them all.
"That's not what I meant. You see, I won't be needing a kimono because I'm not. . ."
Just then, Kagome was visited with yet ANOTHER servant, this time not even bothering to knock, but just barged right in. Both women turned to see Jaken in the doorway.
"Sesshomaru-sama sent me here to inform you that dinner is ready."
~*~*~*~
Sesshomaru paced back and forth in the dining room, quickly losing his patience as he waited for the miko to arrive for dinner. His servants, Aki and Nira who were standing against the dining room wall, watched the demon lord in his irritation. Rin was there as well, already seated and playing with her chopsticks.
"What is taking her so long?" He finally bit out, his usual indifferent voice with a bit of edge in it. The servants looked nervously at each other, thinking of ways to calm the Taiyoukai.
"You must have patience milord, the reason why she is probably late, is because she wants to look her best for you!" Aki said quickly, hoping Sesshomaru would buy it. Nira shot him a look that purely said: "Suck up," but he merely shrugged it away. The demon lord scoffed.
"Humans, they take so long for absolutely everything," he said more to himself than the others. He knew he shouldn't feel so frustrated with her, but he was used to giving out orders, and having them fulfilled immediately. Still, he found himself to be unusually edgy over a girl.
"Speaking of humans, milord. . .it has already been eleven days since the curse was placed upon you. You need to find a human mate soon," Nira reminded him, and Aki quickly nodded.
"Yes, she is right, Sesshomaru-sama! Did it ever occur to you that perhaps she might be the one to break the spell?" Both were quickly silenced however, when Sesshomaru let out a feral snarl.
"Fools. Don't you think I am aware of this?" He snapped back at them. Yes, he was fully aware of this one possibility. If he could get her to fall for him, or to just willingly mate, he would be released of the curse. But knowing someone as defiant as Kagome, she probably wouldn't mate with him just because he asked her to. Besides, he himself didn't like the idea of bedding a human, let alone loving one. Although, he had to admit, she was rather pretty for a human girl.
He fought back the urge to sigh. The truth of the matter was, he was nervous, for the first time ever in his long life. But then again, he had to remind himself that being half human left him exposed to feeling as such. Still, his anticipation of the girl's arrival was overwhelming.
Shaking his head slightly, he brought himself out of his sudden lapse in thoughts. `She is just like any other. Go to any village, and I can find hundreds of other filth like her.' Still, somewhere in the back of his mind still told him that this one was different from the rest. The way she looked at him with those eyes for example. . .when she had looked at him earlier that night, her eyes shining with honest concern and sympathy. She had sincerely wanted to help him relieve some of his torment.
It utterly baffled him, and yet he almost felt. . .happy that for the first time in his life, someone cared for him, without having reason to. It kind of made him respect her in a sense, just a little. Besides, anyone who could put up with his half-brother, Inuyasha, deserved SOME recognition.
But it wasn't only her eyes. No, he had to admit she was unconditionally loyal to those she cared for. Sesshomaru remembered back to her display of loyalty when she had switched places with the kit---and the pain that was so evident in her eyes when he had ripped the brat away. Again, the pang of guilt came to him. `She had chosen her fate, it is not my business if she is unhappy with the outcome.' He convinced himself.
But for some strange reason, he wanted her to be comfortable here, even if she was technically just bait for the Tetsusaiga. Turning back to his servants, his mind recalled their recognition of his opportunity with the girl.
"It does not matter," Sesshomaru finally responded. "Even if there were some small chance that she would break the spell, the miko is already bound to Inuyasha." Aki and Nira thought this over, as the demon lord turned to look into the fire burning brightly in the hearth.
"Perhaps you can. . .change her affections towards yourself. . ." the badger idly suggested.
"Change whose affections, Aki-san?" Rin, who felt tired of being left out asked. The conversing youkais ignored her though, as Sesshomaru turned once more to face them, eyes narrowed in a glare.
"Impossible, even if she were to forget of that stupid hanyou, she wouldn't turn to someone like me," He said to them, his voice remained stoic, though Nira could catch a bit of what seemed like hopelessness laced in them. "Not after all that I have taken away from her. . ." The demon lord turned away once more, hoping that his servants would get the message to drop it. Cased closed. But it seems he was wrong, as both Nira and Aki edged cautiously forward.
"Sesshomaru-sama, you have not given her a chance! Kagome-sama is a very sweet girl, really!" Nira comforted, earning the twitch of his pointed ear that signified attention. Rin's eyes widened upon the mention of the older girl's name.
"Oh! Sesshomaru-sama was talking about Kagome-neesan!" Her eyes glittered excitedly. "Is Kagome-neesan going to help Sesshomaru-sama go back to normal?" Nira smiled warmly down at the child.
"That depends, Rin-chan," was her answer. Both she and Aki looked over to the Taiyoukai, who still had his back turned on them. "On whether Sesshomaru-sama decides to go through with it or not. . ." All held their breathes for his answer, Aki was beginning to play with his tail in anticipation. After what seemed to be an eternity, Sesshomaru turned his head slightly to gaze to where the three sat.
"What do I have to do?" Everyone in the room let out a sigh of relief. He was going to give it a chance!
"Sesshomaru-sama! Do not worry, we know you will not regret it!" The demon lord scoffed.
"It is not for the reason you are thinking of. I merely need her to find a spell that would lift this curse. Afterall, she is a miko, and she would be more useful if I can get her to be willing." He replied blandly. Aki sagged his shoulders a bit, but perked up again. Knowing his master, it was a typical response for him to deny his reasons. Still, it meant that he was still willing to make the miko like him a little better.
"But of course milord!" Aki answered, bowing his respects, and glancing over at Nira, who nodded.
"Hai. But for that to happen, you must first get Kagome-sama to be more comfortable in your presence," Nira explained, and Sesshomaru nodded in understanding, but his eyes narrowed with her next advice. "You must be a little more courteous and kind towards her."
"I, Sesshomaru, refuse to act humble towards a human."
"But you must if you want to get close to her! I beg of you, Sesshomaru-sama, it will not be in vain!" Nira tried to convince him, and he scowled his displeasure, but nodded stiffly his agreement to comply. With renewed confidence, both servants gushed forward advice for the demon lord.
"Most importantly, you must look like you enjoy her presence!" Aki instructed.
"But I do not," Sesshomaru stiffly replied.
"That may be so, but let's keep our eyes on the goal, try smiling." Lifting an eyebrow at the badger, the demon lord considered abandoning it altogether. He would be damned before he would smile for a human.
"No."
"But---"
"I suggest you move on, before I make sure you won't see ANYONE smile anymore, let alone myself," He threw threateningly at the badger, causing Rin to giggle slightly.
"Um, well I guess we'll go onto lesson two then. . .An excellent way of getting her to be more comfortable is to make conversation with her during dinner!" Aki suggested.
"Yes, yes, communication skills are very important when building a relationship!" Nira stood up, backing up her fellow servant.
"Make sure to speak to her with respect and in a gentle voice," Sesshomaru nodded glaring somewhat as they continued.
"Compliment her for the evening."
"But not so much as to overly flatter her, that would make it seem like you are trying too hard to please her!"
"But when you DO compliment her be sincere."
"But not too sincere as to make it seem like an insult!"
Sesshomaru listened as they babbled on and on, and he was beginning to get a headache from it all! He had never anticipated conversing with a human to be so complicated! Trying to keep up, he had to keep from shielding his ears at their last and LOUDEST statement.
"Most importantly, Sesshomaru-sama, DON'T LOSE YOUR TEMPER!" At that very precise moment, the dining room door knocked, causing everyone-including Sessomaru to look up in anticipation. She has finally arrived! Straightening himself up, Sesshomaru prepared to greet his guest, but was thoroughly disappointed when the little green toad stuck his head through the door instead.
"Gomen, Sesshomaru-sama, it is only I, your lowly vassal!" The demon lord threw an icy glare over at Jaken.
"Well? Where is she?" He asked expectantly, and Jaken began to pick at his staff.
"Oh, you meant the girl!" Jaken answered, as if he had just realized. "Well, you see, something came up and she was unable to. . .the girl seems to be feeling unwell and. . ."Jaken threw down his arms in defeat, his body cringing for the fury that was to come. "She's not coming," he managed to choke out.
"WHAT?!" Sesshomaru snarled in anger, bursting through the doors and running top speed towards Kagome's room. Nira, Aki, Jaken, and Rin all ran after him, pleading him to come back. But their cries were reached upon deaf ears, as the furious demon lord continued his pursuit.
`How dare she defy me? HOW DARE SHE?!' Sesshomaru ran through the winding hallways, intent on dragging her out and teaching the wench her place. Driven by his rage, he finally reached his destination, and was about to open the screen door when his hand hit an invisible shield. `She's erected a barrier.'
This only succeeded in fueling his anger, and he began to bang his fist against the barrier.
"Wench! Open this door!" He demanded, just when his servants finally caught up to him, panting in exhaustion.
"Sesshomaru-sama, what're you--?" They were cut off though, when Kagome's defiant voice broke the tense air.
"NO! I won't!" Sesshomaru growled.
"You will do what I say, even if I have to force you to do so!" He bit back.
"Sesshomaru-sama-" The demon lord dangerously at Aki, who cringed under his angry gaze. "Please, milord, remember what we discussed earlier. . ." He timidly let out.
"But she is being difficult!" He snarled, putting an extra emphasis on `difficult' so that the girl could hear from the other side.
"Just ask her gently," Aki urged. Sesshomaru glared at the screen door, and held back the urge to punch something.
"It would be my `pleasure' if you would join me for dinner," He said through almost gritted teeth, utterly disgusted with himself of having to behave in such a manner.
"No Thank You!" Was the reply. Sesshomaru pointed accusingly at the door, proving his point to his servants.
"Gently, milord. Gently," Nira soothed, and Sesshomaru calmed, straightening his composure. He hated having to say the next word even more.
"Please." He added, sounding as emotionless as possible.
"I'm not hungry!" That was it. Sesshomaru couldn't take her defiance anymore.
"You can't stay in there forever!" He growled angrily at her.
"Oh, yes I can!"
"Fine! Then go ahead and STARVE!" He roared out to her, causing the screen door to shake. Turning violently to Aki and Nira, he began to bark out his orders.
"Make sure she does well to keep her word! If she doesn't eat with me, then she doesn't eat AT ALL!" And with the swish of his kimono, he was gone, stomping off in the direction of his chambers.
~*~*~*~
His doors slid back with an immense force, and he stormed into his well furnished chambers, pacing himself in an attempt to calm himself. He had never, NEVER lost his temper the way he had back there, and it infuriated him further to know that it was all because of HER.
"Why does this human affect me so? I try to be hospitable!" Sesshomaru's mind clicked, and he walked over to where a beautifully decorated bowl stood, filled with swirling, violet colored liquid. This was what allowed him to see the outside world-whatever he wished, something that was part of his family heirloom. Mind resolved, he touched it with one of his clawed fingers, causing it to ripple hypnotic rings.
"Show me the girl," he demanded icily, and at once it swirled various colors, before Kagome's image came into view. His heart softened when he saw her small body racked with sobs, tears falling onto one of his servant's kimono as she buried herself in her lap. `She is crying.'
"Come now, Kagome-sama, he's really not all that bad once you get to know him!" He heard Kotori's voice emit from the swirling magic, catching the tense moment. He was completely still when he heard Kagome speak.
"I don't want to get to know him! I don't want anything to do with him!" She sobbed, "He's taken away everything from me! He's a monster! And now he's trying to take away what little freedom I have left!" Unable to watch the scene any longer, he touched the liquid with his claw again, causing it to dissipate.
He couldn't stop this sudden pain that began to tighten his chest, and sadness overcame him.
"What am I trying to prove?" His stoic voice and mask slipping, as he turned away to look into the pale moon. "She'll never see me as anything. . .but a monster. . ."
~End Chapter~
EIGHT PAGES?! Wow, I need to stop writing so much. Okay, I know it seems like they hate each other for now, but I swear! They will end up together! Afterall, Rome wasn't built in a day. And again, I apologize for Sess's OOC, but like I said, he's different with human blood. Please read and review, no flames, por favor, and send suggestions if you have any! ^_^
Review Responses:

snow queen2: Thanks!
FanficWriter: Anything! Just ask me if you need anything else! Being a writer is harder than it looks!
SilentDark: Thanks, I don't know, if Sess is cold, doesn't that make him mean to others? Just a thought! I apologize for the change, but it had to be done! ^_^
Kiwi93089: Huh, I never viewed Naraku like that! You got a point! Yes, so far, Sess is like a popsicle, so cold! But he'll warm up soon. But also like a popsicle, he is just oh so yummy! Lol.
BlackShadow1388: Thanks for the encouragement! I look forward to your reviews!

The hitokiri battousai himura: Yes, it is tiring, but so worth it to hear from you!
?????????: Thanks! I hope you're still addicted!
Selphiroth: I wouldn't call it original. . .but yes, Kagome does remind me somewhat of Belle.
Demi: I'll try to update a lot more, but damn school!
AnimeFan13: Glad to hear it! I hope you come back for more! ^_^
Silver Mystic: (sigh) sadly, he is a jerk at the moment. But he'll improve!
Sanosuke Hidane: I'm glad you approve, although I have to admit that I'm not getting to the romance part fast enough. But I just don't want to rush it! Sorry if I disappointed you. Oh! Question! What should I do for the next scene, when she goes into his room and angers him. I don't exactly have a magic rose for her to awe at, so I'm kinda stuck. . .hehe. Help? Actually, I have a little bit of an idea of what to do, but a suggestion is still good. Do you want me to send you what I had in mind? Tell me if you do!
Bloodbunny: Whoa! Let's not get ahead of ourselves! Lol. But do not fret, for love will blossom soon enough! ^_^
AnImEfReAk81: Oh! I get it now! So stupid. . .thanks for thinking so, I never seem to know how original I try to make a story.
KawaiiLil-InuGurl: lol. Of course! Thank you so much!
Mistress Fluffy: Thank you! I myself want the servants to play major roles, so I try to fit them in with the movie story plot. I still think Napea's version is waaay better!
Defafeath Mechqua: Well, wonder away!
Inuyasha-luver3: If it's all that important to you, then make sure you send in a review! You didn't two chapters ago, so that's why I didn't respond! ^_^
Lady Kagome-Fluffy's gurl: I know it was pretty close to the movie, but that was my intent. I'm sorry if you didn't like it as much, but I'm trying, I really am! Anyways, thank you for the criticism, and I hope you come back again soon!
Blue-Saiyan-Angel: Poor Sess, he really needs people skills, ne? ^_^
~Mediaminer.org
PRicanBabyGirl04: Thanks for the review! Glad you liked it so much, I wish I did too. . .
Unlovable: lol. Of course I'll update! Although, I feel like I don't deserve such praise for this fic, it's just so sucky!
Ejineko: I'm glad you like it too! In my other fic, ForgetMeNot, their relationship was pretty fluffy all the way through, so I wanted to make it a little more bumpy on this fic. That's why it's taking so damn long for them to get together, and that's probably why people give up reading this fic so easily! But I like this pace, and I'm glad you like it too! To be honest, I thought I would write Inu/Kag fics for my first stories, imagine my surprise! Thanks for the review! Always a blast to hear from you! ^_^
Aira^o^ : Thanks for being a fan for all of my fics! I really don't deserve so much credit, cuz frankly, I suck. But I'm glad other people still like `em, despite the awful quality of it! I know, I have low self-esteem.
Sunstar: lol. First for this chapter, ne? Yes, Sesshy is rather mean, but give him a break! He's never done any of this falling in love stuff before! ^_^ Always fantastical to see you on the top of my list!
END NOTE: Finally, I get to post this! I swear, I've been meaning to post since Wednesday, but things just come up. The romance part will come soon, so please hang in there! I plan to make this a long story, with evil plots in the background and plenty of tangled story developments! So, bear with me! ^_^ Review, no flames, I'm gone!
Ja Ne! ^_^
