A/n: I'm on a role here, watch me go.
Well reviews hit an all time low. I'm I really that bad a writer? ::sigh:: I need a hug. (like donkey says it in Shrek) Anyway here's the new chapter, enjoy.
Disclaimer: well still no Inu yasha and surprisingly enough I don't own Sesshoumaru either, really I wonder where I would need to go to find someone like them all for my own. Sigh.
BLOODY KISSES:
Of death may come

Chapter 4: And then there was…All.
While the villa vastly disappeared between the huge trees Kagome settled down wrapped her arms around Sango and started to enjoy the ride. Looking right and left watching her new environment.
The huge trees took her attention for a while until movements made her look between the trees and she gasped. There running with then easily keeping up were what had to be the biggest cats ever. Then with her new sight Kagome almost fall of the bike again when she noticed the huge fangs the ochre colored animals sported.
These were no ordinary cats that was for sure and Kagome was positive if she didn't no any better that saber tooth tigers were running here, but that was of course impossible those were instinct.
With some difficulty Kagome took her eyes of the gigantic animals and looked to Sango's silver clad back, then she turned to the trees to the right again. The beast were still there but this time the one in the front while running with long strides looked to her. Not in there direction not to the both of them. Its forest green eyes looked strait into her own silver ones.
For a few heartbeats Kagome felt connected to the animal and she could almost here it speak to her. Then the link was broken and the animal leaded his pack deeper into the forest leading them away from the road and out of Kagome's eyesight.
Shaking her head in confusion Kagome turned back to stare on Sango's back some more trying to take her mind of what had just happened. Sango didn't seemed to have noticed anything at all and Kagome let the steady humming of the motor relax her.
After a while Sango slowed down and Kagome looked around her to see what made Sango stop and was faced with a wrought iron gate the likes of which Kagome never thought could exist.
Very fine spun iron twisted and turned in graceful turrets and bows to a picture of a huge dog. It stood on a rock and had its head faced to the sky looking up to the stars and moon that were placed above it just as carefully wrought as the dog. Everything was pecked down to even the finest details, but was truly pieking Kagome's interest were the crescent moon and stripes on the dogs head.
Sango stepped from the now stationary bike and walked up to the fence using just one hand to push it open. Urging Kagome on Sango walked with the motor to the other side and waited for Kagome to take over in holding it before turning back and closing the fence.
"Sango, those markings on the dogs head." Kagome pointed at the fence. Sango turned around giving the fence a once over before looking back at Kagome. "What are you talking about Kagome? What dog?"
Taking a step back and blinking Kagome looked from the fence to Sango and back again. "You're kidding right, don't you see the dog in the fence. He has the same markings as Sesshoumaru." Said Kagome pointing to the beautiful piece of art.
Sango's eyes widen just a fraction but it was enough for Kagome to see. "What? What is it." Said Kagome now with a bit of angst in her voice. Was she seeing things, was she going made? What was happening to here. Blind panic was starting to work its way up into her system but it didn't had the change to overtake her as Sango started to speak Kagome focused on it.
"You mean you can see the picture in the fence?" said Sango with awe in her voice. "No wonder that he… it's a good thing Sesshoumaru took you." She murmured on for a few minutes about things Kagome couldn't make head or tails from. Suddenly however Sango focused on the anguished Kagome.
"Don't fuss your not going mad, its just that you startled me that's all. You see except from Sesshoumaru and Inu yasha nobody else can see the protection sign. That you can is… marvelous to say at least." Sango walked back over to Kagome and took the motor back and stepped up patting the seat behind her. "We need to inform Kouga about this, I think he'll need to take a whole different approach with your training, but we'll talk about it more when we get back now we need to hunt and time isn't waiting on us."
Sango let the engine roar one time letting Kagome know she had to get on, obediently she creped back on the black leather seat. Just before the wind would blow her words away Kagome asked about the cats she had seen, but Sango didn't seemed to have heard.
Letting go on the subject for the moment Kagome's thoughts turned back on her family and a sharp stab of pain curled up in her chest and seemed to strangle her heart and lungs. Just the mere thought at how close they were and yet how far away at the same time broke her heart.
Never in her whole life had she bin this long without one of her family members, there always had been her mother and goofy grandpa and of course her identical twin sister. Especially Kikyo took up her thoughts.
Even if to the outside world they may seem the same they weren't really, the girls had found that out at a young age for themselves. From that time on they had started to dress differently and act differently but people just didn't take the time to notice the differences and kept going on about how they were the same.
At one point the girls had given up trying to make people see they were different and some time after that they stopped caring all together. There was however one thing that they shared; archery. And unlikely the both of them were equally good at it and they went to practices with pleasure, even taking more lessons in the week.
The day that she had been attacked they had just received wonderful news, they had been excepted into japans biggest tournament. There scores had been high enough to secure them a place in the top fifty.
Now it seemed that neither was going to go, Kagome simply because Naraku had efficiently ruined her chances of ever participating in a tournament and Kikyo because Kagome's disappearance would run her into a emotional francy.
A soft sad smile played over Kagome's lips, live was unfair for her but maybe even more so on Kikyo. Her `big' sister might come over as the confident one, the one who always knew what to do and how to go about business. But Kagome new that Kikyo only dared those things because she had Kagome for moral support.
How her sister would grieve and to make it all wore her family would never have rest for there would never be found a dead body of Kagome giving them rest and certainty what she was indeed dead and not only lost, until then Kagome was sure they would always hope for her to come back one day, but she never would.
Raising one hand to her cheek to rub away the tears Kagome was surprised to touch smooth dry skin. With wonder she looked at her dry sleek fingers, sadness had been so heavy and suffocating Kagome was positive she should have been crying. Any normal human being would have been crying… that's when it hit her.
No longer was she a mortal being, no longer was she a human being. She was a vampire a creature of the night. A being that fet on blood and gave its victims a peacefully way out of there pain. She would have to hold on to that for of she didn't she might just go insane with the thought that she was nothing more than a killer and honestly she wouldn't be able to live with her self if she was nothing more than that.
Suddenly the motor stopped and Sango and Kagome stepped of. Now with the engine off the night seemed unnaturally quiet and Kagome felt uncomfortable waiting for Sango on her own. Following the silver ghost into the shadows Kagome watched as Sango gently placed the motor on its standard and took the keys out of its slot.
Sango straightened up and looked Kagome in the eye. "ready to go?" she asked in a soft concerned voice. Kagome appreciated it immensely but she knew what to do or more knew what she had to do to make sure she wouldn't be the one placing her family in great danger of being killed… by her self.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Just lead the way." Kagome swallowed hard and looked away when she noticed the sad look in Sango's magenta eyes. Suddenly a heavy load lifted from Kagome's shoulders. This woman new like no other what Kagome was going through and this little bit of knowledge even more than all the other `kind' advice helped her except what she was now.
Righting her shoulders straining her will Kagome looked right back in Sango's still concerned eyes. "I want to do this. Just learn me everything you know, help me. I will do anything in my power to except my new live."
Giving an understanding nod Sango took Kagome's left hand and guided her through the bushed and trees. Kagome didn't need to wonder long where she was being taken for only after a few minute a large white building came in sight.
A few seconds after that Kagome was able to read the brass letters hanging above the front entrance, she knew at once why Sango had chosen this place as her hunting grounds. Retirement home `Sundown' (what an appropriate name) was filled with people who should have died a long time ago. Being kept alive by machines or medicine, most of the old people living here had no idée that they were living at all. What was worse most of them lived in great pain but were kept alive because it was thought inhuman to give them a kind death that would end the pain.
Sango let go of Kagome's arm, the sudden movement of her limp brought Kagome out of her thoughts. Bake in the present Kagome followed the Sango over the now almost white lawn when she took a quick look back she noticed that they didn't leave a trail.
While Kagome tried to find a logical explanation for this Sango leaped up and clung to the whitish brick wall. The sudden change of traveling took Kagome's thought of her current wondering and she looked doubtfully at Sango.
The vampires smiled down at Kagome. "come on its not as hard as it looks like, just jump up and dig your nails into the wall when your close. You'll see that you'll stick to it like moths to a flame, its one of our gifts, one all vampires share unlike our more stronger and unique gifts. Those are different for each vampire."
Still doubtful but to determent Kagome took a few steps back and leaped up landing against the wall her nails firmly dug into the surprisingly soft brick stones. And like Sango had said she seemed to naturally clime the steep wall.
Amazed at her own actions Kagome climbed up until she reached the edge and let Sango help her over it. The two females walked to the little square block that had a metal red door in it. Sango opened the door and they went in Sango in lead.
Going from shadow to shadow they made there way through the house every now an then stopping so Sango could sniff the air and look thoughtfully at her surroundings before moving on.
She did this a few times, never explaining to Kagome what she was up to. By the fifth time Kagome stuck up her own nose and took a few deep sniffs, her vampire senses went high wire. Her system almost overtook her but Kagome just managed to get her control back. But the urges were strong and right now they were telling her that there was foot nearby, tasty delicious food and it was waiting just for her.
Again the call almost over powered her and she started to hesitantly take a step forward when Sango grabbed her by the arm, stopping her. "Good you can smell it, now listen carefully. You may only kill those who people who make you feel like this, any other kind of feeling no matter how alluring must be suppressed. See what your sensing now is a human in so much pain, death is a kind release of his hellish prison."
Nodding to indicate that had understood Sango let go of Kagome's arm and opened the door they had been standing for and the couple walked in. Kagome carefully closed the door and Sango was already standing by the chosen victim.
It was indeed a male and not even that old, no older than forty at least. Kagome wondered at how small he looked in his white hospital bed and all the tubes sticking out of him. At any other time she would have thought it was great that doctors tried anything to make people better, but now with her keen vampire senses and vampire sight, she could tell that this man was only suffering and that he longed for a peace that was not given to him but rather kept just out of arms reach.
Sango silently told Kagome to come closer. "Now the first thing you need to know is that we don't bite our victims in the neck, it makes a mess and leaves unnecessary trails. Instead we rather feet from the inner tight or arm." She pointed at the places while she named them.
"Second, unlike what is common believe we don't suck the blood up through our teeth we only use them to open the skin, make a wound. We could just as easily use our nails. Then when the wound is opened you close your mouth over it and you'll notice that your body will take over from there, don't panic just let it happen.- Kagome tried not to look to uneasy while Sango talked about feeding habits- While you're feeding the victim will reach peace and something very close to heaven, that's when they cross over. You'll notice this and automatically stop your feeding. Again unlike what's believed we don't drink our victims dry, that way the medics won't get suspicious. When your all done just rub in some saliva on the wound and it will close and look like it never was there."
Kagome listened to this all very carefully, making sure she would never forget. Then Sango took a step away and handed Kagome the arm of the victim. With one last look at the mans tormented head Kagome made a swift wound with her new fangs.
Blood welled up almost immediately and Kagome placed her lips over it. Just like Sango had said her body took over, a strange sensation struck Kagome's senses making her close her eyes.
At first she wondered why she was feeling so happy so, so good. Never in her life had she felt this wonderful. Then the reason hit her blood was pouring into her and from her mouth to her stomach and from there into her system.
The last though before she let her body take over completely and just enjoy the ride, was that this was the best drug ever, it had to be. Not that she had any experience with drugs but still she couldn't imagine anything better than this feeling.
Then suddenly all went cold and Kagome took her mouth from the wound, the man was dead. She had killed somebody in order to keep her self alive. For a moment Kagome felt a huge wave of guilt, but then she looked at the victims face and her vampire eyes told her Miroku and the others hadn't lied for the man looked at rest. Were before he had looked tormented now only happiness and peace would be found, like he truly had seen heaven.
Next to her Sango made a tricky movement with her fingers and mumbled something, then she turned back to Kagome. "This should keep you up for two days at least, enough time for Kouga to start teaching you the basics and believe me your going to need them sooner then suspected, its always sooner then inspected." Said Sango however the last was directed more to herself than Kagome.
Shaking her head and sending ebony hair swaying she went for the door closely followed by a silent Kagome. They left the house the same way they had come in but this time the lawn was thickly covered with a fresh layer of snow. Not wanting to bother Sango now with a question about why they didn't leave any trails Kagome kept quit and silently took her place behind Sango.
Letting the motor's engine warm up a little before taking of the two woman just set there for a moment, then Sango kicked the standard up and they took of. This time Kagome remembered to hold on harder while taking of and this time she wasn't nearly thrown of.
The trip back was uneventful and when they reached the fence it was already open making a stop unnecessary. Inu yasha was standing on top of the thin fence seeming to have no problem at all with keeping his balance. He gave a narrowing eye acknowledgement to there arrival and probably closed the fence behind them.
Sango was unbothered by this but then Sango wasn't forced to stay in the sunlight by Inu yasha. Sango's statement of Inu yasha actually being a good friend seemed a lie to Kagome but then the ebony haired girl knew all of them better so Kagome decided to give the gruff white haired man an other change. If only for the reason that she would have to live with him.
::::: The moment they entered the house the unnatural silence made Kagome feel edgy and Sango was suffering the same thing even though Kagome almost couldn't tell. But the faint little twitch of the girl eyebrow made her think the magenta eyed woman was indeed noticing the same thing Kagome was.
Before she could ask about it do, Sango started to give her instructions. "Alright, Kouga will be waiting in the gym. Its just at the end of this hall through the big Egyptian carved doors." Then she took of with such speed it appeared she just vanished in thin air.
For a moment or two Kagome seriously considered disobeying and going after Sango to find out what was wrong, but normal senses kicked in and she went for the Egyptian carved doors at the end of the hall.
If Kagome had thought she would reach those door in a short while she was sadly mistaken, it took almost twenty minutes to reach the end of the hall and then she was a bit shaken by the sheer seize of the doors. If the fence had been big it was small compared to these door.
The wooden doors were indeed carved with Egyptian gods and soldiers but it was more like a warning than decoration. All the figures on the doors were fighting some kind of battle, the thing was carved so artfully that Kagome could actually see the texture of there skin. A fact that seriously took her by surprise she ha seen this done in paintings but never in wooden sculptress. Hell if somebody had told her she would have scoved at them saying this was impossible to achieve.
Kagome was so caught up into the real picture that she jumped in fright when the door was suddenly frown backwards and Kouga appeared his arms folded before his chest a sword strapped to his right hip.
"Rule number one, never ever get distracted it will cost you your live and those of your friends." Barked Kouga. Then he turned around and walked back into the gym followed by a timid Kagome. After her first meeting she didn't expect Kouga to be so, so gruff.
Quickly following Kagome stored the rule in the huge archives of her brain and wondered what the black haired man could have in store for her, she was unpleasantly surprised. "Over there I have laid out some training cloths, just strip of and change."
Kagome just stood frozen her eyes holding a look of disbelieve in them while she stared at Kouga, the Safire eyed man didn't appreciate it. "Well what's keeping you we're wasting precious time."
Kagome kept frozen for just a few seconds more then started to move to the other end of the gym where a neat pile of clothing was laid out waiting for her to put them on. With a huge reluctance Kagome unbuttoned her pants she just thanked her lucky stars that the lilac sweater Sango had given was quite long.
Throwing the pants on the ground Kagome picked up the black skin tight training pants, with critical eye she could tell that they would only reach her knees. Shrugging she put them on reluctant to stand in her underwear any longer. Then she pulled up the black skin tight tank top. With some tricky moments and quick thinking she managed to pull it on without taking her sweater of.
Throwing her sweater down with her pants Kagome walked back barefoot to Kouga who was waiting near the doors. Going back there Kagome First took notice of the walls or more specifically the endless rows of weapons placed neatly against the walls.
With some awe Kagome eyed the beautiful shaped Katana's , spears, axes, short blades, big warrior swords (how would a man be ever able to lift them let alone fight with it was a mystery to Kagome) shuriken and other throwing weapons. There were more devises but of many Kagome couldn't even begin to guess the names.
Then she reached Kouga and Kagome reluctantly tore her eyes from the walls and looked at her Sensei. Kouga was watching her his eyes focused only on her and with such intensity that it was a little bit scary. Repressing a shudder Kagome looked back into his eyes not wanting to be the first to look away. Suddenly Kouga smiled wide and a brief flash of white fangs caught her eyes.
Taken aback Kagome broke the look and she could hear a soft snigger from Kouga. "Well at least you got the guts, so tell me what weapon have you been trained in?" said Kouga twisting his head slightly to the right in a curious way.
"How do you know if I'm following a training?" said Kagome voice filled with surprise and wonder. The black haired man smiled sweetly this time and Kagome felt her cheeks go rosy. Swallowing down her giddy feelings she forced her self to look back into Kouga's eyes no matter how unsettling it was to look into those brilliant jewel bleu eyes.
"I can smell it on you, I've always got a keen sense to pick up the signs. Now tell me what have `they' been training you in, I need to know how much damage has been done." Kouga's explained to her in a way a three year old would be ask to not yank at the poor cats tail. It rubbed Kagome the wrong way but she refused to let this get to her.
The moment she bit down her temper she saw an appreciating smile from Kouga and she new that he had been testing her. Now this really pissed her off but again she refused to give into her temper. The painful truth was that she needed his help, from what she had figured out from the little chat in the salon earlier vampire live was far from easy and fights issuided often, she needed to be able to handle her self and this male was her answer. Hell at least she wasn't being taught by Inu yasha. The thought brought a smile to her face and her annoyance with Kouga disappeared.
If Kouga was surprised over her sudden relaxation he didn't show it, he just kept looking at her his head slightly turned sideways brow pulled up in anticipation of hearing her answer his question.
"Fine, I'm being trained in archery. WE also got taught some basic knowledge about other weapons look like but that s it." Kagome quipped. Kouga's stance changed and his arms fell to his side.
For a moment he just seemed to be looking through her, eyes misted over with images from the past only he could see. Then he regained his control. "Alright, not bad. Archery is a good way of defending one self when you were nothing but a human woman." Said Kouga then he walked over to the wall behind him and picked of a long metal staff.
"Now that you're a vampire you need short range weapon, when I got you up to scratch with hand to hand combat and taught you some basic kata's I will train you in using this weapon." Kouga made a twisting motion with the hand that held the metal staff and from the ends a soft clicking noise could be heard and the next moment the staff wasn't just a staff anymore.
Instead of smooth rounded ends the staff now had sickle formed blades each at least 19 inches long pointing in opposite directions. the blades were very thin and the points no thicker than a needle. With some awe Kagome watched Kouga twirl the staff so fast it was just a blur of grey and silver. Then suddenly Kouga sank through his knees with supple grace and Kagome saw him perform what looked like a dance only slightly well a lot more complicated. Each movement was made in the utmost concentration even the movements of his finger tips was perfected to gain in this dance.
While Kagome watched Kouga she wondered how long he had trained to gain this kind of perfection, had it been months, years, centuries? All she was sure of was not he was no match for anyone she knew.
Gradually she started to see the patterns in the dance. The movements were supple and gracefully changed from one kata to the next but with her sharper sight she picked out each individual kata. Then without warning Kouga froze in his last stand.
Standing on the tip of his toe facing Kagome arms outstretch making a 90 degree angle with his body, staff between the tips of his fingers making you think he might drop it any second, he looked like a predator ready to strike and al you could do was watch. Unwilling to break eye contact for uncertainty of him moving in that one second you weren't looking.
And so Kagome stood just watching and waiting, then Kouga relaxed his position and his arms sunk too his hips still holding on to the staff. "By the time I'm done with you, you'll be able to fight like what you just saw I don't make do with anything less."
The words slowly made there way conscious. "what! You want me to be like that. Impossible." Kagome contemplated Kouga just snorted and walked back to the wall replacing the staff in its rightful place.
"Not impossible, not anymore. See all vampires have basic instinct were martial arts are concerned you'll find that your quite cable of it." Said Kouga drawling his voice. "Now I want you to take this position and try to follow each movement I make. Try to copy it to perfection."
The vampire sunk into a slightly ducked position, knees slightly bowed feet shoulder wide. Not questioning him Kagome copied the stance only to get the rolling eye treatment, clearly he didn't think to much of her stance. She almost rolled her own eyes but buried the desire when Kouga reached her in two strides.
"Keep still I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just going to get you in the right position. What you doing now is just to painful to watch." He sounded offended. And Kagome was grabbed by her shoulders from behind. She felt his leg being placed between her own and for a moment Kagome thought about protesting about his closeness. Then the leg shoved her feet farther apart and nudges her feet in the right position.
Next he placed his hands on her hips and carefully move them in balance, then she felt a pressure at her shoulder and her knees bended slightly from the weight. Then Kouga was gone and walked back before her taking the basic position.
By that time Kagome was feeling embarrass and she was sure she was blushing. Never had she been touched in the manner Kouga just did so intimately. Kagome had a hard time to concentrate after that and to make it worse Kouga kept coming back putting her in the right position, his hands holding her molding her body. And each time he did that Kagome found it harder to concentrate and her stances got sloppier which ensured Kouga to come over.
Kagome didn't know how long she had been in the gym but it felt like eternity. Saying she was embarrassed was now just a tip of all the feelings of mortification that rushed through her body, to say she was relieved when the gym door opened was just a suited description for lack of a better one.
The person coming in was Sesshoumaru Kagome felt it before he had fully entered the gym. Being faced with him or more like being in the prospect of seeing him without being the center of his attention was strange.
Even that night Kagome hadn't paid as much as attention as she was now. Each line of his body each smallest change in his features fascinated Kagome. She could feel something coming from his but she just couldn't grasp its meaning. It was only when she noticed his mouth moving that she knew that he was talking to Kouga. Kagome focused to catch the conversation.
"There has been a setback; he caught one of the other key factors. I need you to circulate and find out what you can, if we want to get him we need to have the knowledge of his movements and latest improvements." Said Sesshoumaru in a soft serious voice. Kouga nodded.
"So are you sure the barriers will hold, if he got a piece of the puzzle his strength must have gotten bigger to?" the question was filled with earnest concern but it seemed to offended Sesshoumaru.
"This Sesshoumaru is not so weak that a mere power upgrade from the enemy will brake my spells." He clipped icily and Kouga hurried to placate the offended male. "I didn't mean it that why Sesshoumaru sama, but even you most see that attacking our barriers is a logical step for him. And with the new girl…
Kouga fell silent and Sesshoumaru let a bit of his icy demeanor melt. "This Sesshoumaru knows of out weak points and they will be taken care of. You just head for wherever and don't come back until you've found something useful." The command was threatening but Kouga just laughed and took of, leaving Kagome alone with Sesshoumaru.
With Kouga gone Sesshoumaru turned his attention on Kagome and for a moment she thought she saw some emotion flash in those golden eyes. Whatever it had been it was gone and all that stood before her was a being with centuries of knowledge and a perfect hold of his emotions. Now Kagome new what had made him stand out the night she and Kikyo spotted him. Not his just his looks but the combination with the lake of emotion was what made him so alluring.
Which girl wouldn't dream of being the one girl to make this façade meld and find the passion underneath. Swallowing to wet her parched mouth Kagome kept her eyes on him. The intensity with which he was watching her was unnerving and not to say quite unsettling.
They stood there for some time neither speaking, neither moving. It gave Kagome the time to take in his presence at leisure and the more she saw the more she was sure that there was a passion buried underneath all that rigid demeanor. There was a man under all that ice and Kagome felt her self being intrigued.
"Due to circumstances you will be taught by me, I suggest that you follow me dawn is breaking." With a smooth turn Sesshoumaru left and Kagome followed. With some annoyance she thought how this was becoming a habit and not a very good one. She needed to become more willful and not obediently follow them like some lapdog. She needed to stand up for her self but she would do that some other time, Sesshoumaru was not the best person to rebel against.
To her surprise Sesshoumaru leaded her to a deserted part of the villa and went into a room set in tunes of forest green and silver. In the middle of the neat room stood not a coffin like in Sango's bedroom but a huge four-poster bed, draping and everything. Quite uncommon for a vampires bedroom.
Wondering about this detail Kagome almost forgot to wonder why Sesshoumaru had taken her here and not to Sango's bedroom. Before she could turn around and ask however Sesshoumaru came with a short icy answer, god she began to hate that tune.
"Because of the change of events you'll sleep with me to ensure safety." Said Sesshoumaru throwing her a cool glanced waiting next to the bed. When Kagome wanted to step in the bed still wearing her training cloths Sesshoumaru merely raised one of his eyebrows.
Sneering Kagome ripped the cloths from her body and while in her fit of anger she didn't care that he was the first man to ever see her in nothing but her underwear. Slipping between the cool sheets Kagome made sure she was laying at the very edge of the bed.
While her face was turned to the wall she could only feel the weigh pushing down the bed when Sesshoumaru stepped in. she kept her lips perched however and let her mind wonder freely about what she had learned today.
From what she had gather between the words she knew that she had a long way to go before she would even be considered a vampire, now she was more like a student. Speaking of students how on earth was she going to finish her education. She had worked so hard and all that effort made her in the top three of her school.
Now she guessed that al that effort had been for nothing, she couldn't go back to school and not only because she could face the daylight anymore, but because she would bring every student who came close to her in danger, she wouldn't be able to live with her self if she was the cause for suffering and death of someone who hadn't dissevered it.
Gradually the coma like sleep of vampires overtook her and Kagome relaxed, forgetting her worries and troubles while dreams took her away to something far more pleasant. Next to her Sesshoumaru had eagerly awaiting this and he almost let out a sigh when his senses picked up her sleeping aura.
Slowly turning over he watched the back of her head and wondered what had possessed him to take her with him. But there was no way back now, he would teach her and use her to get what he so desperately wanted, they say revenge is sweat. It isn't true it's a bloody mess but someone had to do it and Sesshoumaru had excepted.
Naraku wouldn't get what he so longed for so much that he had spend the greater duration of a thousand years tracking down the three things he would need to unlock the door that was between him and his wish.
What he didn't know was that Sesshoumaru had now also placed him self between Naraku and his precious door. The bastard wasn't going to like this at all. The thought brought a rare smile on Sesshoumaru's face and it stayed that way when the sleep of the dead claimed him.
a/n: well finally some kag/sess interaction, and more promised for the next chapter. ::grins wickedly:: anyway hope to read reviews and till next time.
Notes: the older a vampire gets the less blood they need to stay in working order, until they rarely ever need to feed anymore. This also means that the older they get they don't necessarily need to kill there victims, and this is therefore only done by the dregs of there kind and the ones who of course enjoy it.
