Chapter 1: Captured and forgotten

Inuyasha began to lie down on his back when all of a sudden he pranced up. He started to sniff the air in utter confusion. `Could it be? It couldn't. That's impossible. But…' He then slowly started walking with his nose still in the air. Could it be Kikyo? He couldn't be positive but he had to find out. His promise to Kagome was going to be broken as he had absolutely no memory of it since he smelt her most calming scent.

He leaped above the trees and faded away in the new search for Kikyo. `I have to find you Kikyo. I have to hold you. I have to be with you forever and for always.'

`Inuyasha gets on my last nerves. He can be the biggest brat sometimes. He hasn't herd the last of me.' Kagome thought while walking back to camp. As she stomped off she tripped over a stick, fell and scraped her knee. WHY ME! WHY ME! WHY ME!” She yelled at yet another clumsy act she had made.

Kagome Began to get up and dust her self off when she heard a rather strange sound up in the trees. The sound kept circling her as she started to run. All of a sudden the cause of what was startling her leaped out and snatched her up off the ground.

“Get your hands OFF of me!” She yelled as she turned her head to get a glimpse of her kidnapper. As she saw the man in the mask of a blue and white faced monkey her eye turned with surprise and absolute horror. “Naraku! LET ME GO! INUYAHA! INUYASHA! INUYASHA!” She screamed at the top of her lungs. “Fool. Can you possibly think that Inuyasha will be able to save you guess again young lady.” Naraku spoke with such certainty. “He could and he absolutely would. He is much stronger then you ever will be! Even with a whole sacred jewel you won't be able to beat him.” Declared as she was kick and screaming in hopes Inuyasha would be there soon. What a time to forget her arrows at camp.

She was still waiting for Inuyasha as Naraku got closer and closer to his destination. He never came, Know matter how much she screamed his name he didn't come for her. She wasn't very far from where she had last seen him so how could he not hear her. It was because he was lost in the thought of finding Kikyo. `He still isn't here. Why won't he come? Is it because of the fight we just had? NO! Inuyasha can be an ass hole but he wouldn't just let me be killed by Naraku. I refuse to believe that.'

Naraku was also confused by Inuyashas absence. It was just lucky for him that taking Kagome would be easier then he thought since he had nothing to do with the reason he never showed up. He just from then on ignored it and concentrated on getting to his new castle. With his arm tightly rapped around Kagomes waist so that he wouldn't drop her he landed at a palace where he found Kagura standing there.

He tossed her on the ground but keeping a firm grip around her arm. Kagome was terrified about what he might do with her. Naraku just nodded of to Kagura and spoke. “Take her to her cell we made up for her.” Kagura pulled the girl up by the hair and dragged her into the palace. “What are you planning on doing with me?” Kagome yelled with a demand for an answer that was expressed by the look on her face. “You will soon enough and I assure you it won't be very pleasant.” Kagura said with a grin.

They entered a room that had a small stair case leading to another room made of brick. Kagura roughly pulled Kagome closer and bushed Kagome down the wooden stairs. Kagome landed on the hard rocky cement floor with a loud THUMP. She ended up with a small gash on her upper arm because she hit it on a rather sharp rock. She then ripped off a piece of her skirt and tied it around tightly to help stop the bleeding. Kagome then noticed the entrance was sealed off. She ran over to the small steel door demanding to be set free from her prison. “LET ME OUT! DON'T THINK YOU WIL GET AWAY WITH THIS. LET ME OUT!”
