"INU-YASHA!" An angry voice snarled. "Uh-oh!", yelled Shippou. Kagome lept out of the well, surprising everyone. She was glowing an allurring green, features contorted with rage. "You. ASSHOLE! What, did you think that you weren't going to get into trouble even if you HADN'T pulled the wrong person down the well? OSUWARI! OSUWARI! OSUWARI!"
Everyone was gaping at the furious miko. Well, everyone except Inu-Yasha, because he was busy expanding the vocabulary of his best friend, the dirt. As we all know the if the spell is said when she's angry, than it doesn't wear off until the anger does.
Kagome gritted her teeth and concentrated on the subduing spell, pressing down on it. "You fucking bastard. Have you ever thought about pulling me down the well and what it did to me? Now you've destroyed the normal life of someone else. I've never complained about you dragging me around the Senku Jidai because frankly, I have the best accent in my ancient Japanese class, but the rest of my life is in shambles."
Inu-Yasha stopped swearing as the spell pressed harder and harder, pushing the air out of his lungs. For the first time, he began to fear the girl he had riduculed ever since she was 15.
Abiona, frightened by her friend's display of both anger and power, wrapped her arms around the other girl. "Kagome, I'm fine", she said.
Kagome glared, but relented and let the hanyou breathe.
"Damn! You act like she's your mate or something!", yelled Inuyasha. Both girls stiffened.
Glaring, Kagome once again pressed down the spell. "Is that so impossible? If I take another girl to bed what concern is that to you?" "Wwwwwhat?!", yelled Miroku. Kagome finally let Inu-Yasha up. "We're leaving. We're going back to our world."
"Kagome, he's tried that already, he can go through but I can't." Abiona said queitly. Kagome glared harder.
"Fine, we're still leaving." Grabbing Abiona, she stalked off. Shippou jumped onto her shoulder as Kagome stormed passed. They headed North.
They walked to a tree and Kagome finally let go of Abiona's arm. "What's wrong, Kagome?", Abiona asked. "We have to find a way to get you back." , Kagome replied.
"Why?"
"Because it's dangerous here and you have no idea how to protect yourself.
"I want to stay for a while. I would like to get to know your friends... And that Miroku is kinda hot."
"No no no no no no no no."
"What?"
"You don't want Miroku."
"He's..." Kagome took a moment to think about this, then changed her mind. "Well, actually, you'd probably be perfect for each other..."
There was a silence, then Shippou spoke. "Why don't we take her to Kaede?"
Then from the direction which they had just came, they heard another voice. "We can't go bothering that old woman everytime we a small problem." It was Inuyasha, followed by Miroku and Sango.
"This is more than just a small problem.", said Sango.
"We'll go in a few days.", said Kagome.
***2 Days Later***
Sesshomaru had been tricked by Naraku in the past, but he would not let it happen again. So he sent Jaken out to gather information about the village that Naraku tried to send him to. And now, Jaken had finally returned.
Jaken walked into Sesshomaru's cave. "What did you find out?", asked Sesshomaru. Jaken, being his high-strung self, jumped and almost starting yelling his story.
About thirteen years ago, Naraku tricked a young wolf demon to fall in love with him. A wolf demon from one of the four highest wolf tribes. The tribe heard rumors about Naraku and knew that he was up to no good. They begged and pleaede with the female to get rid of him, but she kept refusing. The other tribes began showing up and demanded that this affair be stopped. They knew that he would only cause the humans in the area to hate them more.
They finally banished the two. Soon after, the young demon learned about Naraku's true intentions. He just wanted a child, because a child would improve his powers.
She tried to return to her tribe, but no one would let her stay with them. Until her best friend finally gave in. Naraku kept begging her to come back to him, but she refused. He got angry and began putting curses on the land. Land which included humans. The humans fought with the wolf demons, because they knew that if they were gone, everything would go back to normal.
Their first attempt failed. When they came back for a second attempt, all they found was a small village of humans. Suddenly everything was fine. No more attacks, bad crops, or horrible weather. Naraku thought that they had gone.
"Would you assume that there is more to this story, Jaken?", asked Sesshomaru.
"What do you mean, Master?", asked Jaken.
"There IS more to this story... But I do not have time to dig around for secrets. He wants me off his back becase he's planning something. ... But I want him dead!", said Sesshomaru.
***Later That night***
Abiona had fallen asleep under the tree, leaving Kagome to yell at anyone she wanted to. She had everyone follow her. They got far enough so they wouldn't wake Abiona. "Okay", said Kagome. "I am going to have to lay down some rules, here." Everyone was listening, except Miroku who was smiling and watching Abiona sleep.
"Inuyasha, no staring at her when she bathes. Shippou, no blabbling about... ANYTHING. And Miroku!" He finally turned his attention to Kagome. "You better not hit on her!!!"
"Oh, he already did.", added Shippou.
"You what?!", yelled Kagome.
"And she accepted!" said Shippou.
Kagome looked like she was about to explode. Miroku smiled and was about to run until Shippou spoke again.
"But then Miroku freaked out and ran off.", he said.
Kagome calmed down. "Good", she said. "Don't do it again! Don't even touch her!" She turned to Sango. "I don't think you will screw anything up. Just make sure that they don't."
***The Next Day***
Kagome was sitting by a small pond and Abiona sat next to her. "You're thinking about him, aren't you?", asked Abiona.
"Who?", said Kagome.
"Inuyasha."
Kagome looked back to the water.
"Why are you running around with a girl when you're obviously in love with him."
"Because he doesn't want me."
Abiona laughed. "Do you not see his feelings for you?"
"That's just the way he is. And everytime I fall for it, I'm reminded that he could never love me. Not the way that I love him."
"You need to take control of him."
"What?"
"Like, grab him and kiss him like he's never been kissed before. And make sure that he KNOWS how you feel."
"Did it ever work for you?"
"I've never felt that way before." Abiona smiled. "What is Sango's relationship with Miroku?
"They were together for about two minutes, but not anymore."
"Really?", said Abiona. She stood up & walked away.
